Super Tuesday Rally/Watch Party Downtown Appleton (Fundraising)
I am organizing a rally on Tuesday, February 5th to bring local attention to supporters of Barack Obama in this area. A group of Obama enthusiasts will be holding signs in downtown Appleton. We will station ourselves right in front of the NBC26 station headquarters between 4:00 and 6:3o p.m. I will bring extra signs and buttons for people who have none. Come for any length of time that you can. Feel free to bring friends or children. I plan on being there with a stroller! Also, we will be having a watch party afterwards starting at 7 p.m. at The Bar in downtown Appleton. We will gather in the upstairs part of The Bar on 427 W. College Ave. to watch the polls come in. We will also be signing up volunteers for the campaign. Again come for any length of time that you can and bring a friend or two. If you have any other ideas, or would like to help make signs, bring food, etc.. don't hesitate to contact me.
