Please join Obama Works for a Campaign/Community Service Event on Saturday, April 5th.
In order to ensure an Obama Victory in our Primary on April 22nd, we must step up our efforts and enthusiasm here in York and help win PA for Barack! We will be meeting at 10:00 am at Obama York Headquarters (280 West Market Street) to: Help canvassing efforts in York City in conjunction with the Official Campaign effort. Distribute Obama information to local residents. Generate Obama Visibility in our communities! Clean up neighborhoods and turn Senator Obama's message of creating real change from the bottom up into a reality! We will reconvene at Headquarters around 1:00 for refreshments and a closing mini-rally with Mayor John Brenner (who will be assisting with the clean up efforts as well!). Come dressed in Obama gear (shirts, hats, buttons etc) if you have any, bring a pair of work gloves if you can, and a broom and/or dustpan if you'd like. Our Sweeps in Philly and New Haven have been quite successful!
