Earth Day Celebration
Hi All,
I had the great priviledge of being one of the attorney volunteers for the Promote the Vote voter protection efforts in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during this week's PA primary. I was assigned a polling location in Ward 6 in West Philly. During the course of the day, I met so many wonderful community members and local democratic leaders. This is a community that turned out in large percentages for Obama (my polling location alone was 462 Obama to only 62 Clinton, you do the math). I learned from Michael a committee member for the 6-18 about a Earth Day celebration park clean up event in the neighborhood this Saturday (4/26), which is part of the citywide "Spring Into Your Park" event. I am going to go assist in the clean up efforts and would love to have you join me (in your Obama/Obama Works gear) so that we can show Philadelphia and the rest of the country what the engaged Obama citizenry looks like in action. Let's revitalize Muhammed Park!
