Members of the online community at Talking Points Memo are hosting a nationwide houseparty fundraiser for Obama. The New York party will take place at a loft in DUMBO. There will be drinks, snacks, music, raucous political discussion and unscripted revelry.
Arrive by 9:15 to participate in an conference call with Don Bivens, Chairman of the Arizona Democratic Party.
Local indie band Pacific Theater will perform from 11-12
Photographer Rob Gullixson, with art direction by Rachel Casparian, will take portraits of guests for a photo series documenting the enthusiasm and diversity of Obama supporters across the country.
We suggest a campaign donation of at least $25 from each attendee but encourage you to contribute however much or little that you can. Please donate at our fundraiser page.
