Camp Obama (Meeting)
Obama For America and Tallahassee For Obama are Teaming Up for "Camp Obama". We will be organizing outreach activities, mobilizing, and energizing our volunteers for maximum effectiveness. Last meeting we had close to 200 supporters to gather and show their support for Barack Obama and to also volunteer their service to the Obama for America National Campaign here in Tallahassee. Our goal is to ultimately fill the Moon to the full capacity of 1,500. Recruit other Obama supporters, college students, and bring an unregistered friends. Volunteers will obtain updates, training from the national campaign through our Obama Organizing Fellows, voter registration drive, and for social networking. John Summers of the Moon has been gracious enough to provide us with his wonderful facilities, please thank him and support his business during the meeting. Good food and refreshments will be available for purchase. Don't forget to bring donated office supplies and other items to help with setting up the Obama for America National Campaign Office here in Tallahassee. Hope to see you there.
