August 10th BBQ, Party, and Valley-Wide Canvass -- Sponsored By The Vickie Ybarra Campaign (OFA Canvass)
Come join us for food, fun, and a whole lot of door knocking for Vickie Ybarra, Governor Gregoire, and Barack Obama! We will be starting at the Democratic headquaters at noon with lunch provided for all. We will have a short training and assign neighborhoods for our volunteers to canvass. More free food and drinks will be provided after we canvass, while we join the world watching our athletes in the 2008 SUMMER OLYMPICS!! Child care, food, pop, water, beer and Washington wines will be provided for all participants. Bring your favorite side dish to share with other proud Democrats. Vickie Ybarra will be on hand for pictures, questions, spelling of names for contribution checks, etc. The primay election season is finally upon us and we need your help to get out vote for Vickie and ALL Democrats running in the Yakima Valley. So come knock on some doors, taste some of the best wine the world has to offer (made right here in the Valley), watch the best athletes the world has to offer and celebrate election season with family, friends, and fellow Democrats!
