Dayton Mamas for Obama Strategy Meeting (Official Event)
Please join us at the temporary Obama campaign headquarters in the Montgomery County (Ohio) Democratic Party offices for a meeting to discuss and plan family-friendly volunteer sessions. Our goal is to establish regularly scheduled volunteer sessions where volunteers are able to bring their children and to do the volunteer work that is often difficult to manage given childcare considerations. Bring your kids with you to the meeting (along with a favorite book, toy, game, craft or other distraction) so that we can get a real sense of what needs to be taken into consideration in planning these sessions. Bring your ideas and your enthusiasm, and maybe a neighbor, a teen-ager who likes supervising children, or another stay-at-home parent. (Remember, carpooling saves gas, parking money, and the environment...)
