SD60 - Canvassing Olympics!!! (Canvass)
On Saturday, starting at 10 a.m. the Coordinated Campaign and the Obama Campaign for Change is holding a special canvassing Olympics for SD60. The person with the highest number of canvasses will be rewarded with a free T-shirt. Second place will be awarded a bumper sticker, and third place will win a button. We'll be meeting at Painter Park at the intersection of 34th St W and Lyndale Ave S. We only have 90 days left to go until the election; the polls are showing the race to be dead-heat; and the Republican campaign will be holding its convention in early September. We need everyone to come out and work hard to help the campaign and bring a real change to our country. AFTERWARDS: Pizza Luce "ROCK'EM BLOCK'EM" Block Party with Music, Beverages, and of Course Pizza from 12:00 pm til 10:00 pm. Just 1 block from Painter Park. There are 12 bands including Romantica, Charlie Parr, etc. My 2nd favorite music festival of the summer.
