Bar Crawl for Barack: Generation Obama - Atlanta Fundraiser (Fundraising)
Recent polls show that Georgia may very well go blue this fall, and the Obama campaign has announced that it will invest significant resources in attempts to put Georgia in the Democratic column this November. Generation Obama Atlanta invites you to join us in Virginia Highlands on Saturday July 12th from Noon to 5:00pm as we Bar Crawl for Barack (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pub_crawl). Help raise money for Senator Obama's campaign while enjoying your favorite cold beverage and the company of fellow young Obama supporters. We are asking for a minimum donation of $20, all of which will go to the campaign (we prefer contributions to be made ahead of time online, but they can be made at the event). In return you will receive a wristband giving you access to drink specials and free hors d'oeuvres at four different bars in the Highlands. RSVP and donate below, check in at Dark Horse Tavern on the 12th (bring a printed copy of your confirmation with you) , and join us as we make our way to Limerick Junction and Hand in Hand culminating our day at Manuel's Tavern. This event not only gives you a chance to contribute to the Senator's campaign in a fun way, but also allows you to find out how to engage in grassroots activities currently underway in the general campaign. Sign up early, and come read for a good time, we expect close to 200 Obama supporters for this event. *If you show up after 2pm, look for a volunteer at either Limerick Junction, Hand in Hand, or Manuel's Tavern, to get you signed in.
