Registration deadlines are quickly approaching, so we need everyone to work hard wherever and whenever they can. We have all the information you need to help on your state's Voter Registration Action Center page, including deadlines, rules and tips on having good voter registration event. Together, we will change old Washington politics and make a promise for a new America.

Voter Registration Volunteer Affirmation
Please read through the following affirmation and agree to abide by these standards if you are helping to register voters. Thank you for your participation in this movement.
• I agree to represent myself as an unpaid volunteer working to help register voters.
• I agree that I will provide a registration application for anyone who requests one—regardless of party or preference for candidate.
• I agree not to pressure or induce someone to register, nor will I promise or give anything in exchange for a voter registration application.
• I agree to provide only blank registration forms to registrants and to not alter, mark, or make any corrections or revisions to a voter’s registration application.
• I agree that I will conduct all my volunteer voter registration activities in accordance with the applicable state laws.
• I agree that I will contact my local secretary of state or my local county election office before registering voters, and that I will conduct all my volunteer voter registration activities in accordance with the applicable state laws.
• I agree to return all voter registration applications to the proper elections board or to my Obama for America staff representative within 24hrs of receiving a new registration signature.
