A: We do our best to keep accurate information, and you can help us by reporting new information. If someone has moved or is deceased, this information should be recorded in the "Report Voter Contacts" area.
A: In the "Report Voter Contacts" area, you can take someone off your list by checking "I'm uncomfortable contacting this voter" next to that person's name.
Q: How do I report my contacts when I'm done?
Once you click "Report Voter Contacts" a list of voters in your neighborhood will come up. Click on the "Report Data" button next to each voter to report what you learned during your conversation with them. Once you have entered all of the voter contact information into the "Report Contacts" page you can destroy your old paper call lists.
Q: I would like to contact more people than you gave me. Is that possible?
A: Yes. Every volunteer starts with a limited list of neighbors to contact. Since there could be other volunteers also calling nearby, we need to make sure that there are enough people for everyone to contact.
After you've reported contact with some of the people on your list, you can get new voters by going to the walk list page and clicking the "Get More Voters" button. The more contacts you report, the more new voters you can get.
Q: I have a question about what to do. Who do I contact?
A: If you are working with staff in your state, you should contact them. You can also email ofainfo@dnc.org to ask a question, or call our hotline at 1-866-495-2004.
Q: How do I enter the results of my conversations?
A: Click on the"Report" link in the gray bar near the top of the page. Then, click on the"Make Calls" button next to the voters name. This will bring up the script and voters contact information where you can enter their responses. Remember to click on the "Save and Next Voter" button at the bottom of every script to make sure we receive all the information you collected.
Q: Can I get more neighbors to contact?
A: Yes! Simply click the "Get more Voters" button.
