Texas State Convention

The Texas State Convention will take place from June 5 - 7, 2008. We need as many Obama supporters as possible to attend and help make sure we win as many delegates as possible.

You need to register and be credentialed by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 6th, to vote on the convention floor, and remember that credentialing starts at 7:00 a.m.

You will participate in electing many people who will lead this Convention. If you are running for a Committee position and need information or lists, please email your Senate District Field Organizer.

(Each Senate District elects one person for each of these Committees)

Permanent Credentials Committee
Nominations for At-Large Delegates Committee
Nominations for Party Officers, SDEC and DNC Committee Members
Resolutions Committee
Platform Committee
Rules Committee
State Democratic Executive Committeeman
State Democratic Executive Committeewoman
Presidential Elector (SD 13, 14, & 23 elect two)
