What You Need to Know

  • Ballots can be mailed or dropped off in person at your County Elections Office or an official drop location.
  • All ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20th. Ballots postmarked on this date will not be counted, it must be received by the deadline.
  • After Thursday, May 15th, it is suggested that you only drop off your ballot in person to ensure that it is received by the deadline.
  • Some voters who changed party affiliation to Democrat very close to the registration deadline may get a ballot with their old party before getting a Democratic ballot. Be assured that a Democratic ballot is coming, and send in that one. If you accidentally send in both, this is ok, but only the Democratic ballot will be counted.
  • Call our Oregon Obama Headquarters at (503) 236-2008 if you have any questions.
