Get involved right now -- this is what you can do right now to help Barack in Pennsylvania
Register New Voters
In states throughout the county and right here in Pennsylvania, Barack is inspiring new people to participate in the political process. But to be able to cast a ballot for Barack in the Pennsylvania primary, an individual must be registered as a Democrat. The deadline for registering to vote or for changing party registration is March 24th. In order to grow our movement right here in the Keystone State, it is crucial that we reach as many potential voters as possible and help them register to vote for Barack in the April 22nd primary.
Call Your Neighbors
Making phone calls is a simple, effective way to contact voters in Pennsylvania before the primary on April 22nd. When you can't make it to a field office or neighborhood phone bank, you can use the PA Neighborhood Teams tool to phonebank from the comfort of your living room! All you need is internet access, a phone line, and a desire to change the country. You'll be provided with a list of voters in your neighborhood to contact. Rather than receiving a cold call from a stranger, voters will be hearing from you -- a member of their community. (e.g. "Hi, this is Jon Jones over on Maple St., and I'm calling for the Barack Obama campaign.")
Visit Your Neighbors
As Barack says, change in this country will take place brick by brick, block by block, neighborhood by neighborhood. Put on your sneakers and enjoy a crisp spring day while talking to your neighbors about why you support Barack and encourage them to join our movement for change. You can print a walk packet right here in the Neighborhood Teams Center and start canvassing today.
