Oklahoma Voting Rules

Deadline to Register:
October 10.

Voter Eligibility:
Must be at least 18 years old, a United States citizen, and a resident of Oklahoma. Cannot be convicted of a felony and may not register until a period of time equal to the original judgment and sentence has expired, adjudged to be an incapacitated person may not register, or adjudged to be a partially incapacitated person prohibited from voting may not register.

Identification Requirements:
Driver's license number or the last four digits of your Social Security number (required if no driver's license).

Where to Turn in Your Registration:
Mail your voter registration application to the State Election Board. (Room B-6, State Capitol Building, PO Box 53156, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73152).

How to Register Others:
Permissible to register and mail in forms for others. No other guidelines withstanding.

Absentee Voting:
Excuses: None required. Application Process: If you are physically incapacitated and you are confined to a nursing home or convalescent hospital, you are physically incapacitated but you are not confined to a nursing home or convalescent hospital, you are charged with the care of another person who is physically incapacitated and who cannot be left unattended, then you must use this website. If none of the above are applicable use this website .
Dates: Must request the ballot no later than one week before election day (October 28) and be returned by Election Day ( November 4).

Early Vote:
In person absentee voting is available. No excuse is required. May vote Friday, October 31, Saturday, November 1, and Monday, November 3. Location designated by local election board.
