Nebraska Voting Rules
Voter Registration Form:

Deadline to Register:
Third Friday preceding an election (October 17, 2008).
Voter Eligibility:
Be a United States Citizen, be at least 18 years of age on or before the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November (November 4), live in the State of Nebraska, have not been convicted of a felony, or if convicted, at least two years have passed since the completion of your sentence for the felony including any parole term, have not been officially found to be mentally incompetent.
Identification Requirements:
Proof of residency (ex. Driver’s license, utility bill).

You are permitted to register and mail in forms for people.
Absentee Voting:
Absentee voting is available. Excuses are not required.
Application Process:
Applications can be found here.
Application must be received by noon the day before Election Day (November 3) and the ballot received by Election Day (November 4).
Early Vote:
Yes. No excuse required. Apply here.. Begins 35 days before Election (September 30) and is in person.
