If you are registered to vote in Nebraska, you will not need an ID to vote. However, as a precaution, you should bring with you one of the following forms of identification to the polls:
- Current and Valid Nebraska Driver’s License
- Current and Valid Nebraska State ID Card issued by the Secretary of State
- Government-issued pay stub
- Other government-issued document bearing your name
The above IDs are Valid EVEN IF they do not match your current address or the address on the poll book.
NOTE: this exception does not apply during Early Voting.

- You must be a registered voter.
- You must be 18 years of age or older on Election Day. If you are currently 17, but you will be 18 on or before Election Day, you are eligible to vote.
- If you have been convicted of a felony, you are eligible to vote if at least two years have passed since the completion of all terms of your sentence, including parole.
