You have to vote for President separately.If you vote ONLY for a straight party ticket, then you haven’t voted for President. Start by voting Barack Obama for president, and then continue voting. What do I need to bring to vote early?If you are not yet registered to voteYou can register to vote and cast your ballot for Barack Obama at a One-Stop Early voting location in your county from Oct 16th through Nov 1st. To register to vote you must bring one of these items that shows your name and address: ~a North Carolina driver's license -or- ~ a utility, phone (home or cell) or cable TV bill -or- ~a bank or credit card statement -or- ~a Government document (passport, Government issued photo ID, birth certificate, hunting fishing, or gun license, property tax or other bill, vehicle registration, naturalization document, public housing or social security agency document, government check, invoice or letter) -or- ~a paycheck or W2 -or- ~a student ID, plus a school document with your name and address If you are registered to voteYou can vote early for Barack Obama at a One-Stop Early voting location in your county from Oct 16th through Nov 1st.
