Calling all students: VOTE TODAY!

One-Stop Early Voting: October 16th through November 1st.

WHO CAN VOTE DURING ONE-STOP EARLY VOTING?

If you are registered to vote in North Carolina, or if you are an unregistered North Carolina resident who will be 18 or older on November 4, 2008, you can vote during One-Stop Early Voting. A voter does not need to give a reason to vote early in North Carolina.

CAN I REGISTER TO VOTE IF I’M A STUDENT FROM OUT OF STATE?

YES. You can register and vote where you live during the school year. You can register and vote even if you do not intend to stay in North Carolina after graduation. If you currently consider yourself a North Carolina resident, you can register and vote in North Carolina.

WHEN AND WHERE CAN I EARLY VOTE?

You can vote early from October 16th through November 1st at any One-Stop Early Voting location in the county where you reside.

I HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED TO VOTE. WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

You do NOT need to show ID to vote unless this is your first time voting in North Carolina. A first time voter may need to show one of the following:

• a valid and current student ID -OR-
• a valid and current photo ID -OR-
• a copy of one of the following documents that shows the student's name and NC college address: a current utility bill, bank statement, bank issued credit card statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document.
