A Merry Christmas Obama Family

A wish to the Obama’s Family for a Merry Christmas, is a wish to the entire America family and the countries who are tied to the economy of America. I say this because, the better able the Obamas serve while in the White House, the better and sooner the state of affairs in the world will clear us.

A Merry Christmas Obama Family

A Birth long ago brought us great cheer

Miracles followed to people everywhere

Emery could never smooth the rough edges He found

Rampant sins were occurring all around

Rights contorted into personal gain

Young awkwardness lost and social disdain

Change we made when in Him we believed

His words whispered a truth we ably received

Righteousness came and the people were healed

It took His reach out to thousands and truths revealed

Savior, Prince of Peace, Lord of Lords and King of Kings

Taught lots and healed many with His wondrous blessings

Multitudes of His followers were there wherever He would go

And the Word of our Deliverer spread to places high and low

So many believed on Him, on His word they hung their belief

On the faith in the Messiah they were freed from grief

Blessed by His powers and loved through His grace

A light that glowed Eternity in His promised embrace

My God and Savior came here and while He was here

A chosen few were taught to go spread His Word everywhere

Faith in the Father and the steadfast faith in His son

Are the doctrines that the Christians taught since they begun

Merriment to all men, peace and love, happiness too

In these trying times and economic strain we wish the best for you

Lots of His joy to you, may the Father’s Blessings be near

Yuletide wishes for a great Season and Prosperous New Year

The Nobel Peace Prize

President Barack Obama, the 44th president of the United States of America and the first African-American president elected there, today receive the greatest honor bestowed on any man in the world forum when he was given the Nobel Peace Prize for 2009. This caught the world by surprise since he was only in office just weeks before the nomination closed in February of this year. The team Obama must be applauded for their foresight to take this initiative and note must be taken to the change that has overcome the nations of this world. Still in his humble demeanor, President Obama reminded the world first of the responsibilities to family

The Nobel Peace Prize

This morning he awoke to Malia saying dad you won!

He didn’t start celebrating before more followed on

Eagerly she continued, dad it’s Bo’s birthday!

Nobel Peace Prize is great but other responsibilities he had to portray

Obama always said he was first a dad

Bo the family pet was the only dog they had

Letting this Birthday past would be a major wrong

Even though this award was great he must first get along

Pets are like family and must not be set aside

Every occasion with family Barack smiles wide

And though he is humbled that the world nations believe

Change can start from ideas small men conceive

Even though he is the first sitting President in 90 years

Presented with this honor for his approach to world affairs

Rights of world citizens are in his forefront but close at home

Is the responsibility of family and Nation where ever he may roam

Zilch is the significance of personal grandeur and so he

Emphasized the involvement of all people and it starts with family

The Right To Bare Arms

It concerns me that we have so much regulation on so many other things that are harmless and now allow something as potentially volatile as caring a very visible side arm in public and worse, at a politically charge meeting. Why all the checks of people going into office buildings, air craft and all the others. This Right To Bear Arms has now blown out of proportion and I think its interpretation should be re-examine. Surely this right is with held when we are going into court rooms, Government buildings, schools and many other places. Why then is the right not with held at the President’s town Hall meeting?

The Right To Bare Arms

The people are not bitter Obama, with guns on their hips

Holstered during their rallying trips

Everyone can within the law demonstrate

Rights to carry these weapons as they participate

Imagine such civil unrest that these

Go church with side arms strapped above the knees

How worrying to see students on our corridors

Turning out like Billie the Kid to resurrect more horrors

The parks where we go to meditate

Or walk our dogs, gun fanatics now populate

Brothers now scaring brothers if when they open the door

Are people packing semi-autos and some packing more

Rubbish, this must be rubbish to hear

Every one by the law can choose to wear

A gun while present in a politically volatile crowd

Restricting guns at other grouping will soon be disallowed

Me, I’m still having difficulty why churches have alarms

Sleeveless tops banned, ladies don’t have The Right To Bare Arms

I am a mere pauper with a grand wish. I wish President Barack Obama a very Happy Birthday. He deserves the best and if it were in my power then it would be so.

This president had a campaign built of hope and believing. These two things when used together will guarantee the intercession of our Lord and the delivery of our desires.

How can I say, Happy Birthday?

And how can I in a day, his troubles allay?

Paupers like me never get to see

People like he, with such pedigree

Yes we can was his cry, but how can I

Bring happiness to a President, how ever hard I try

I’ve seen the joy one man can bring

Realized that if you believe, you can do anything

The audacity of hope is within my reach

He taught me to believe and then each

Dream can be made into a reality

And so I’ll believe and with audacity

Yes I can give the President what I desire

May this day be as my dream, and as I require

Real happiness amidst his busy schedule

Peace from the haters, backstabbers, and all things cruel

Resolve of the problems of immediacy

Enemies no longer a threat to our country

Soft answers to carry away people’s rage

Integrity to know the time to turn a new page

Devoted colleagues that will always have your back

Economy, Health Care and Immigration put back on track

The Police Acted Stupidly

Imagine the conversation in the USA was about Health Care and suddenly twisted to race because a Black Professor from Harvard who lectures about race is arrested in his own home by Sergeant Crowley because a neighbor saw him breaking into his own home. If the neighbor was close enough to see the incident, why doesn’t the neighbor also know that the professor is a disabled Black man who walks with a cane and therefore recognized him? Given it was dark and they couldn’t see properly, why doesn’t the police quietly knock on the door to establish contact? Why the, “Step Out” routine. If they can’t go in then why would they expect a burglar to come out?

The Police Acted Stupidly

The President dared to say what he can

He described actions and not the character of the policeman

Even with his measured and careful word

People attacked what they think they heard

On that night when the arrest was made

Lawman, who trains other acted stupidly, I’m afraid

Invading ones own home, how could this be?

Could a man jimmying his own lock be described as guilty?

Even when he says to the police he’s the lawful owner

Are there no checks that would verify this, is there no procedure?

Can I expect that had this man been a White

That he would’ve been meted out that same treatment, that night?

Ever considered the mood you would have been in

Disgusted from your circumstance now the police, outside, beckoning?

Sir! Get out the house! And you asked, Why? Cause I’m Black?

This is no reason for the police to get out of whack

Using a cane, standing 5’5”, with proof of ID

Police surely could’ve walked away, even without an apology

I agree with the President and think our trained policemen

Diffuse many more volatile incidents, so why not then

Locked emotions, Professor Gates and Sergeant Crowley

Years of racial mending being broken because the police acted stupidly.

Remembering Tim

Tim Russert was one of the best TV broadcasters is not the best. He showed his total devotion to the task at hand by always ensuring that all the research was ready and in queue for those surprise questions that he snared his unsuspecting guest with, just as they started patting themselves on the back. It has been a year now since his passing and I wish to pay this Tribute to Tim Russert as I remember the irreplaceable lost to TV, his family and friends, the world and me.

Remorsefulness I could feel no more

Everything is different than before

My thoughts now are the wonderful memories

Episodes when he interviewed celebrities

Meet the Press was a great addition to my Sundays

Dialogs well research and presented in fresh ways

Ever political leader invited for a chat

Respectfully grilled to discern fiction from fact

I think I learnt more from these interviews

No twisted focus and distortions as in the news

Got the fact straight once and for all listening

Tim’s Christian nature brought an unusual christening

We all wanted to see change but we are not all able to identify with the new turns and twist change requires. Going down a new way means cutting a new path, nothing is paved for you not even broken twigs or crushed grass. There is nothing to follow, just trust and faith. At some time you have to let go.

Indianapolis

With just 12 days to go Barack Obama made a quick stop in Indianapolis, Indiana and then hurried off to Honolulu, Hawaii to be at his ailing grandmother’s side. The ever so dutiful Barack said he didn’t want to repeat history as was with his mother and not be there. With polls threatening to go down in his absence he feels his obligations to the lady who raised him from his early teens.

I see the trip home as a show of dependability

Noble devotions and unquestionable loyalty

Dedication to what’s right and unselfish

I see his going home as the people ultimate wish

Americans have been asked to, repeatedly

Notice the man vying for this Presidency

Palling around with questionable folk who hate America

Tried, Tested and True

Have you ever considered running for Presidency of the USA. Do you realize how much investigating will be carried out? Your family too will be scrutinized. But the tickler of it all is your associates, no matter how close or distant the bonds are between you and them. The truth of it all is that we all have something in our past that may look questionable under such careful scrutiny. When we look at the two Candidates this closely, test results are very clear to me. Barack Obama’s although he has some bumps along the way had always made decision that showed his integrity. He was never hot off the cuff and running to out fires not yet started.

Tried Tested And True

There is much ado about who can

Really be the peoples’ best man

Intelligent and with diverse prowess

Experienced to facilitate certain success

Deliberately choosing to be fully tested

Tossing privacy aside for your life to be vetted

Encouraging the public to see who you are

Showing them you microscopically and not from afar

There is no Presidential Candidate in history

Equaled to Obama under such scrutiny

Dear friends the darkest sides of his past

Are associations with men whose affiliations didn’t last

None of them influenced Obama to be less than he became

Didn’t cause him to live a life of shame

There has been grilling, mud slinging and the a broken economy

Reactions have remained Presidential and cool with integrity

Unmatched by others, so there is one thing left to do

The Pig In Lipstick

They have been much talk about pigs in lipstick and the more I hear about it the more upset I become. Surely Americans are not so easily taken in. I know that we want to be sure that we understand the people we are voting for but what exactly does it say when people on hearing these false allegations and misrepresentations of the truth, would come out publicly and put a stop to it. I would have had greater respect for Palin had she come out and say, he never meant me, he was referring to…, I thought so.

The Pig in Lipstick

The people for eight years got the same

Hogwash and mud baths and a senseless war game

Electorate trusted them year after year

Putting faith in a Government that professed to care

Instead they got a big disappointment

Got bamboozle by a misguided Government

It all became obvious, “no way, no how”, not again

Now many were crying out “not McCain”

Lots of his policies were facsimiles, and when

Investigated, his voting records were with Bush 9 in 10

Politics is a devious game when played the old way

Some promises, and dressing up, while they lead us astray

They put on façades then vow it’s all new

It would never be like the old ways we knew

Covering up the pig with sparking lipsticks

Keeps us curious but with scrutiny, it’s the same politricks

Palin's Outing

Last night I tried to be as open minded as I could be, given the position I had adopted with her proud speech. The rest of the world weren’t as affected as I was and so I set it all on the back burner. When I saw her sarcasm and deliberate resurrection of issues long dead, I was convinced that she is everything she said she is, a pitbull wearing lipstick.

Palin’s Outing

People who tell you who they are

Always believe them however bizarre

Like a woman who to millions will confess

I’m a barracuda, a pitbull in a pretty dress

No lady who claims to have high scruples

Should be proud of promiscuity which lacks morals

Or when opposing candidates who say they’ll leave kids out

Use kids like ponds to influence their clout

This barbaric attack on personalities

Is evidence of unscrupulous tendencies

Now I waited to see who is the Governor threatening Barack

Got my answer confirmed last night with her sarcastic attack

This Was The Moment

Barack Obama made another awesome speech to the nation when he acknowledged his moment in history to be the first Black Nominee from one of the substantive political parties in America. But, the world saw it too and the cries we resounding. One magazine stand was covered in 50 or more different magazines all with different shots of Barack. I was touched when he came out before a humbling crowd of over 15,000 in the stands and 17,000 outside and the millions all over the world and he hugged and kissed Michelle and received a gentle knuckle shake and he then guide Michelle away with a pat on the butt. Watching these two is like music to my ears and listening to Obama’s speeches is a beautiful choir singing. Obama identified that this moment of change represents a number of great moments to follow. America has had many great opportunities in the past to make things right and they were denied. I pray this time they are and remain on track.

This Was The Moment

To many it was another MLK speech

His oration was captivating and to all it did reach

I saw his Presidential poise as I’ve been seeing before

Such a deliberate attempt to reach both rich and poor

When the world heard him there was approving outcry

Africans, Japanese, Europeans all think he’s the guy

Such a vision for the future that begins right there

The end of one historic journey to begin another everywhere

Healing can start from this moment in time

Earth and oceans cured, sickness and crime

Moments of change with dominoes accuracy

Obama wants jobs for the jobless and all people equality

Maybe it’s asking much of one man man

Except he’s asking all of us to understand

No one is hopeless or without a voice

Together we can change the world if we make this our choice

Bitter Sweets

This was a night that should have gone down in history differently. I believe too much bitter and too little sweet spoilt the significance of one of America’s biggest days. I was so displeased by it, I didn’t pen these thoughts until a day later for fear that I may be as bitte3r as those who pretend not to be.

Bitter Sweets

Barrack wan the Nomination but there’s little victory

It seems defeating Hillary was devastating to the party

The loyal Hillary voters prefer to Vote McCain

They would defect and in 2012 come back again

Eager to see a woman gain the Presidency

Retired people and blue collared workers snuff the DNC

So now they are dangling the proverbial carrot

Want Hillary on the ticket or there’ll be a riot

Except Hillary comes out on Saturday

Endorses Obama in a convincing way

This division will hurt the DNC’s campaign

She needs to stop this exodus of voters to McCain

Final Primaries

The results hardly mattered any more. He needed just 4 to clinch the nomination. And it was done, history was created but one thing leaves me wondering. If Barack had paid more attention to his finish game and secure more wins in the last 9 primaries maybe Hillary wouldn’t have had the contentions on which to boast. She defeated him in the number of people who voted for her and will go down in history as the candidate with the most ever popular votes. How unfortunate but still, I would not fault Barack’s decisions.

Fired Up and Ready to Go

Barack was sharing his story and it felt like mine and probably like yours too. Sometimes the smallest of encouragement can get you over those obstacles that may at first seem insurmountable. And like in Obama’s case, this boost of energy may be delivered in the smallest of packages from the least expected source. Remember that ever one has a voice and deserves to be heard, at least once. Change comes when we listen even the least amongst us.

Standing there all dripping wet

The morning was trying and I wasn’t ready yet

Right before me stood 20 waiting anxiously

Eager to hear my enthusiastic delivery

Nice old lady behind shouted “fired up, ready to go!

Got the room started and was stealing the show

Then I too joined in and my spirits grew like the rest

How fired up I was and ready to go to give of my best

This is my song of inspiration, thanks to Barack Obama and his story of the little old lady who fired him up and made him ready to go at a time when he was low.

Hillary Crytearia

Hillary, C

I have seen powerful women all over the world and Hillary Clinton is unlike any. Her attempts to fit in by drinking beer makes less rather than more of a powerful woman to me. If you have to do what people do so as to be accepted, in this case join the boys club, why is she running at all. Isn’t she promoting the idea of a first woman, why then is she not starting her own club and habits? Except for her variety of pants suits, which unfortunately is an adaptation from the gents too, she has done little to preserve and represent a strong woman. It doesn’t take strong women to stand by a man during his obvious breach of marital and societal rules. In fact weak women can’t turn away. When a woman stands by her man because she is part of the few to believe his innocence, that is then remarkable strength. It requires strength to turn away from all that you have built between you when a man has wrong you publicly but little or nothing to stay with him under similar circumstance

Looks like it’s her strategy

Lamenting before a primary

And now from her surrogates too

Raining tears and some hullabaloo

You might have seen then on Decision Day

Crying their eyes out in a terrible display

You must be suspicious when these people cry

They want the responsibility of this great U.S.A.

A President with no spine has no criteria

Repeatedly crying and lying, she’s no Obama

I think she misled too many, she’s ready from the first day

And her promises to the Puerto Ricans only leads them astray

A Decision Day

Party Unity is the focus of the DNC but according to one of the super delegates I must go by what ”my momma taught me” Donna Brazile went on to say that we must play by the rules and that you can’t change the rules in the course of the game. Some presenters also drew reference to the fact that with the announcement that the votes wouldn’t count once the primaries were held earlier than scheduled by the DNC, potential voters may not have shown up and therefore the actual votes cannot truly represent the voice of the people.

A Decision Day

Another day was not so tense

Darkness cloud the Florida and Michigan defense

Emphatic presentations for both candidates

Conference room applauding from vibrant debates

It was unclear for me, I couldn’t make up my mind

So many different positions put me in a bind

I started the day thinking divide them squarely

Obama can get 50% and 50% for Hillary

Now I understand the proposed splits

Delegates to be apportioned fairly is good politics

And yet the rules can’t be changed along the way

You have lots to consider on A Decision Day

The ProfHannity

You would remember that I have been writing about the profanity of Hannity – profHannity, and here I continue about his latest contribution. I am so discouraged that this media person gets the right to perpetuate his kind of corruptness and to think that he is a practicing Catholic Christian. I can’t understand why he continues this 20 years stay of Obama. What about the many members of the Father Pfleger’s congregation at his church, have they been sitting down for many years, exposed to incendiary comments too or is it that this priest only adopts this questionable rant when he enters the doors of the Trinity Church? People might say things that once said may seem dumb and out of place. If they retract them, then they are being human but when we continue to fuel them, then we are the evils, remember “ forgive us our trespasses as we forgive them that trespass against us.”

Even though the Priest is a Roman Catholic

Obama was disappointed and expressed this promptly

Featuring priests at the pulpit on your select word

Has an intrusion of privacy and is not preferred

And if taken out of context most of us will appear

Narcissistic, racist, sexist and full of despair

None of us are immune from microscopic analysis

Investigation of our every word is nobody’s business

To take these snip bits and perpetuate a bigotry

You are more dangerous than your subject and more guilty

His Uncle Was Great

Yes, the evidence shows us that it was not his uncle but his great uncle. I agree his uncle was great. To have been a part of the 89th infantry division and be apart of the troops who liberated the concentration camp at Buchenwald on April 4th 1945, is quite and experience. His heroic act cannot be repudiated and as we now know, Barack’s grandfather and his grandfather’s brothers served too. This story of patriotism should not have been diminished by the small gaff that was made by Barack. Let us all recognize the sacrifice that was made by the many soldiers who took part in the many wars before our time and those which still are fought even now. Barack was born Aug 4th , 1961 many years after World War II bit the patriotism of his forefathers course through his veins. He is great and his uncle was great.

How did we get from there to here what did we do

I heard his story of great patriotic value

Such patriotism only to be wounded with the dreaded PTSD

Unfamiliar back then but we now know this malady

Not the concentration camp at Auschwitz but one nonetheless

Camp Ohrdruf in Buchenwald they had their success

Liberating those held in dehumanized immorality

Emaciated but still breathing and longing to be free

When he saw it all he must have died inside

And when he came back home he stayed in the Attic to hide

Six months he stayed as if feeling guilty

Guilty to have freedom and never be hungry

Regretting that man would treat their brothers this way

Embarrassed by the inhumanity which caused others dismay

A lot has been said of gaffs but the tenor we can’t repudiate

The patriotism was true and His Uncle Was Great.

My Old Uncle Bertie

They call it a gaff when you refer to you great uncle as uncle. What are you suppose to call him, great uncle Bertie. I call my mother’s cousin, cousin. Should I be changing that too? Are we going to want so much to find fault that we would pick on the salutation we give our family members. I remember so more harsh flaw that were base on the individuals’ recollection and not information handed down, but who cares, those were gaffes, let’s leave them alone.

My Old Uncle Bertie

Mom told me, that’s how I know

Yonder placers where my uncle would go

Once he started out he would travel far away

Learning about uncle Bertie was a game we would play

Dad was mostly gone so he would never partake

Uncle Bertie was his hero though the stories seemed fake

Names are blurred now, I can scarcely recall

Cause when I heard them I was much too small

Looking back I vaguely remember they said he would stay

Every day for six months in the Attic tuck away

Back in Auschwitz he liberated the concentration camp

Exposed to a demeaning life which war puts its stamp

Rescue was made before my birth and the story is faulty

Taking Buchenwald’s camp on April 4th 1945, they made it free

It’s a family thing to call my great uncle, uncle Bertie

Even though I hardly knew him he was always uncle to me

Is This Bitter Now Sweetie

I was appalled by the exit polls from the Kentucky primary which disclosed that approximately 66% of Democrat voters who voted for Hillary were not likely to vote for Barack Obama should she not get the nomination. Conversely 71% of Obama votes will vote for Hillary’s should she get the nomination. This for me is bitter.

Is This Bitter Now Sweetie?

I checked the meanings of the word bitter

Some referred to taste and others demeanor

The latter ones are more pertinent for me

Highlighted by Hillary, O’Reilly and Hannity

In every reference for weeks on Barack

Spreading distasteful or bitterness by frivolous attack

Bitter sums up mentally painful or hard to accept

It describes unpleasantly cold and the best one yet

The word bitter speaks of resentful and angry

The people are not bitter but why would they be

Eager to give their votes to John McCain

Resenting Obama after Hillary’s campaign

Not willing to give their votes to the party they back

Only Hillary if she’s nominated but not Barack

When Barack’s voters were asked, over 71% will stay

Some 66% of Hillary’s will vote the other way

When all is said and done Barack on the trail

Ensures a more positive resort without detail

Especially now even when the math makes it clear

That he is the more likely Nominee this year

I hear harsh words from her supporters and Hillary

Engaging me to ask Is This Bitter Now Sweetie?

The Florida Factor

There is much talk on the Clinton side about the votes in Florida. So much so that they include the 2.3 million to put Hillary’s count over that of Obama’s claiming then that she has the majority of votes, in fact , more votes that have historically achieved by any other candidate. This is much ado about nothing, unless, Hillary is advocating that acquisition by fare or foul means id advisable. But, this shouldn’t be surprising from a lady to vow to obliterate another nation. Do we really need to dig into her bag of no nos?

The Florida Factor

There are millions who voted in Florida

Hillary wants them counted to push her over

Even though they were warned not to bring up their primary

Florida when on defiant of the rules from the DNC

Leaders of the party knew it was wrong

Obama didn’t campaign there but Hillary went along

Repugnant to party laws but she later agreed

In a signed document that she would concede

Delegates from Florida will be counted out

And now she’s behind she wants to exercise her clout

For voters to be disenfranchised of their civil right

And their votes not included to help change their plight

Clinton thinks it’s not fair and we certainly agree

These people should not have been deceived to vote early

Obama should have also been given a fair chance to present

Republicans love their chaotic race for Government

KO, Knock Out . KO Kentucky Oregon. KO King Obama, may be that’s carrying it a bit too far but when I think of these KOs I think of these.

Many supporters would wish that this Tuesday was the final KO punch to yield yet another KO and Keep Out Hillary. We would like to see Barack with a clear path to the Republicans and as John McCain warms up, he enjoys some fame. Anyway, it’s all short lived because we KO Know Our candidate and his abilities, especially his unquestionable skills to organize people. So KO – Kudos Obama

Barack still needs to deliver that Knock Out punch

It’s more needed now since Hillary doesn’t take a hunch

Got false hopes and she is still staying in

Kentucky may be hers but the nomination she can’t win

Oregon turned yesterday like a human sea

Packing over 75,000 in a ¼ mile with expectancy

Rallying behind Barack cause he’s their choice

It’s clear the unison of Oregon’s voice

May be if the folk in Kentucky had met

Amicable Barack on their turf he’d get

Rivers of supporters from the unexpected Diaspora

It is infectious when you listen to the promises of Obama

Even though these KO primaries are Kentucky and Oregon

Some wish it was the Knock Out and Hillary all gone

Resting Comfortably

The Senator Edward Kennedy, known to most as Ted Kennedy, at the age of 76 years was hospitalized after experiencing two seizures at his home. Within hours he was sitting up and watching sports on TV. They are still trying to determine the cause of these seizures which have already been determined as not stroke related. Our best wishes to Ted and his circle of family, friends and supporters.

Resting Comfortably

Representative for Massachusetts Sen. Ted Kennedy

Experienced at home a medical emergency

Seizures that caused many concern

They rushed him to hospital and now we learn

It’s serious but he is resting comfortably

Now sitting up and watching sports on TV

Got visits from many who later shared

Cause of the seizures can’t yet be declared

One can expect a man of his age

Might have medical challenges by percentage

From 70 years men should be proud to be

Overtly fit for work and visibly healthy

Reaching 4 score and 10 is the treasured milestone

There is great joy reaching there and not being alone

And when challenged, to rebound with such prowess

Bellows of the extraordinary person and his uniqueness

Life teaches many lessons and treasure infrequently

You must value the great treasure we have Sen. Edward Kennedy

Obama Sweetie

When we try to be polite and respond with affectionate names like sweetie and darling, there are a group of people out there that eager to label this as belittling. The fact is you can use a person’s true gender descript like Miss and be far insulting than sweetie. It is not in what you say but more in how you say it. Tones can mean everything and as I remember it, the entire Japanese language is based on tone and they recognize that one word can be used to mean so many different things once we change its sound. It is funny how this is so clear to my dogs who always understand which “come here” will result in food, hugs and affection or punishment.

Obama Sweetie

Obviously you meant no insult by what you said

But such words were toxic from the upheaval they led

And like an astute professional you must measure the lay

Make more careful checks with what you say

All the vultures are circling waiting to see

Stumbles and slips like bitter and sweetie

With their ears and eyes, camera and mic

Equipped and ready to land that critical byte

Even when apologies and corrections are made for slips

They peck and tear morality and the truth they eclipse

It's Profhannity

Thanks to Rety I have written this acrostic poem. Rety thought that the word Profhannity can best describe the profane behavior of Hannity from Fox News.

I feel so much in agreement that I wish it was possible to make this term colloquial to describe the smugness of people who think they are holier than thou. A man who always seize the opportunity to spruce their good standards while trying hard to derogate good people

It’s Profhannity

I saw young Barry growing up in the poorest neighborhood

The meals may have been poor but his demeanor was good

Surrounded by poverty for most of his life

Put off big income jobs and soon took a wife

Road to riches was there but he walked the next way

Obama served his country by helping others day by day

For his arduous struggles he is called elitist

Hannity tried to convince his viewers that Barack’s a racist

Attempted to persuade us that Barack wasn’t too bright

Noting because he stayed 20 years he’s like Rev. Wright

Now Hannity claims Christianity but is he living the life

It’s an honor for a man to cease from strife

The Proverb also says every fool will be meddling

You Mr. Hannity are meddling where there’s no wrong doing

I'm Asking You To Believe

The campaign by Barack Obama had been focused on Change and as the slogan goes Change we can believe in. This change I believe is a step away from the traditional politics and politicians which seem to be serving one specific strata of society for many tears now. The first thing that is required is to ensure that the traditions of Washington are removed and that new measures are installed. But in order to make this happen we need the right man at the helm. I believe that Barack Obama is the right man but as he so often point out, he is not a perfect man and probably would not be a perfect President either but he is willing to listen and as he says it, he wants us to believe, not in him but in ourselves

I’m Asking You To Believe

I’m wide awake and very in touch

My opponent Sen. Clinton, doesn’t think this much

A long time has past, in fact much too long now

Solutions in Washington has been slowed somehow

Kept doing the same thing and failing the same

It’s time Washington stop playing their deceitful game

Negating real solutions if they are not politically expedient

Going back on promises to risk things economically transient

You have been suffering while the lobbyists take control

Of our Politicians in their liberal role

Unchecked this can force the cost of living high

This is what we must stop or together try

One man alone can’t make this change

Barack is remarkable but he needs hear your exchange

Every voice and every idea may have its plausibility

Listening to as many is part of his strategy

It’s your victory through your vote and your voice

Every American of age has this prestigious choice

Happy Mothers' Day - Obama

In the ideal family, mothers are responsible for the culture of the house hold, the harmony in which they operate and generally the demeanor. I have seen single mothers, biological mothers and mothers that were not biological. I saw mothers who didn’t want to be mothers and strangely, I saw fathers who were functionally mothers. Now, if I were to translate the purpose of a mother into political life, then Obama will earn the distinction of being the mother of American Politics today.

Happy Mothers’ Day Obama

Hillary is not working in the interest of the Party

At this critical time campaigning disingenuously

Putting racial significance where there is none

Polarizing the people of our great nation

Yesterday I heard her on a radio sound bytes

Making a distinction between Black and Whites

Obama she said the superdelegates must note

There’s no chance he would get the white masses vote

Her words were harsh and for once not fake

Electing Obama, she said would be a grave mistake

Racial slants had always been part of America’s history

Slavery, KKK, Civil Rights and Rev. Wright more recently

Dangerous path we averted in the pathways of time

Americans have been mending, are forgiving often sublime

You shouldn’t be divisive with the language you use

Or disruptive to the people and Party you choose

Barack like a great mother servers to unify

All his campaigning demonstrated his willingness to try

Making this country’s people unite in a very special way

And it all starts with having a Happy Mothers’ Day.

Delegates, popular votes, states, what else does he need

Obama since February has been in the lead

Obvious to emerge victorious, yet still undeclared

More in-party battling will bring what the DNC feared

Surely the electorate know what this can be

Democrats can be forfeiting their obvious victory

All the path was cleared, Barack’s hopes led the way

Yet this current behavior can lead to Doomsday

D - Day: It's Decision Day

Could it be that even during a primary, dubbed by some as the Decision Day because of its potential to change the course of the game, could still find American dancing around their preferences. Even with the research information by over 200 economists, including professors, Hillary as still allowed to put forward proposals designed to increase delectability but had no foundation.

D-Day: It’s Decision Day

Indiana voted with a narrow 2 percent

The voters from Lake County determined how it went

So close it was although all night she led

Decision was made, for Hillary it was full speed ahead

Exit polls have showed where their dominance lie

Clinton gets the female, the old and the blue collared guy

Intellectual, new voter, student and the Black

Seem to be the people who most favor Barack

Indiana may have been unsure but N. Carolina was not

Obama was determined victorious at 7:30 on the dot

North Carolina gave him a 14% victory

Demonstrating their unwavering certainty

At this important turn on the Presidential byway

You would have expected greater certainty on Decision Day

What Next

The road is still long and until some things are resolved, it may prove to be dangerous up ahead. The one thing that has been constant all this time even though to many it may have seemed a bit wimpy is that Barack has stocked to his guns and have pursued the path of hope. Hillary has been changing all of her tactics throughout and she has borrowed some of Barack’s along the way. She played the Change card, used the theme chant “Yes We Can” and more. What she is now adopting is the testicular fortitude attitude. The problem is that she is ready to obliterate Iran, with all of its innocents along with the evils. I think it takes greater intestinal fortitude to stick to your beliefs even when the times are rough. Barack has managed to shoot down many before and yet he hasn’t fired a weapon.

What Next

When all has failed and you’ve done your best

Held to your values and fought a clean contest

And when the road ahead narrows with no side turn

The gas gets low and your engine starts to burn

No matter how hard you try or whatever you do

Efforts seem futile then look around you

‘Xtend your scope past that narrow margin

There is hope ahead for Change We Can Believe In.

Party Unification

Unless we recognize that the primary campaigns still is about spreading the culture of the party and its core values and not about the kind of negative campaigning that destroys personalities, we have not transcended the great divide of politics. Today politics should be closer to righteousness than ever before. Decision made by the people for the people should truly reflect the needs of the masses and diverse strata of classes in society and can only be arrived at by being in touch. Yet as we attempt to deliver their needs with all our enthusiasm to do so, we cannot forget the humane and patriotic values that best represent our Parties and ultimately, the Nation. If at the end of the Primaries, candidates have managed to alienate each other then we have lost part of our democracy

Party Unification

Put Party ahead of your personal quest

And campaign with what is for the Party’s best

Respect Party candidates and treat them this way

There is no need to attack personalities with what you say

You don’t defame the characters your Party may choose

Use derogatory comments whilst deferring the issues

Negative remarks, mud slinging with details you don’t know

It’s not good to use them or spread innuendo

From the start show who you represent

It’s the people then the party then government

Cling to integrity and honesty, make these your tools

Always abide by righteousness and the golden rules

Then when through voting the people have their say

It’s not difficult to stand side by side the rest of the way

Only when you adhere to these simple regulations

Nominees can unify their party for the general elections
