On the Attack

I'll be brief because I've been spending the last 8 hours or so lifting videos from YouTube and placing them on my website.

John McCain and his surrogates have, in the last month, and most especially in the last week, launched a series of ads that are just awe-inspiring in their arrogance and cynicism. Barack MUST do more to respond to these ads. They are like the "throw the spaghetti on the wall and see how much sticks" practice of determining whether the pasta's done or not. You truly have to see them in a short time period to see just how truly appalling they are, and how low the once "honorable" Senator from Arizona has sunk in his desperation.

So, I collected the first 8 videos on McCain's website and published them on MY personal website, unedited and without comment - at least on the page where they are posted; elsewhere, I offer my thoughts. I also published 8 videos from the Obama campaign. These 8 are the 2nd through 9th of the videos on Barack's website, in the order - as of this writing - that Barack wants you to see them. If you have a minute, please check out the video pages there. Feel free to ignore my personal stuff. I wouldn't post this link if I didn't think it vitally important that as many Obama supporters as possible can see this documentary evidence of John McCain's desperation and Barack Obama's promise of authentic leadership.

What I want to bring up here is, how can the polls, which yesterday (Gallup) showed the candidates in a virtual tie!!!! How can this be?

WE NEED TO RESPOND TO THIS. Barack is doing everything he can - I honestly don't know how he keeps the pace - and this is, after all, OUR campaign - America's hope.
