This movie found it's way to me and I haven't even watched but the first 15 minutes of it and it hit me that this would be something that all American's might want to see right now. It's a tribute to the people of New York City and how they "Came Together" after the 9/11 events, using John Lennon's words and music. I can tell it is very uplifting and emotional. It was broadcast live on October 2, 2002. I don't know where I was then but I was asleep and too wrapped up in my own little life garbage problems to know it was happening. I'm wide awake now and I believe, as a nation, we could use a LOT of uplifting RIGHT NOW. It would be a huge reminder of what the people of our great nation did as they came together after 9/11 and we can do it again. Today, it seems that our nation is falling apart and we all need this reminder. I highly recommend to every American that they watch this video as soon as possible. Give it a shot, you might be happily surprised.

Remembering Tim
Remorsefulness I could feel no more
Everything is different than before
My thoughts now are the wonderful memories
Episodes when he interviewed celebrities
Meet the Press was a great addition to my Sundays
Dialogs well research and presented in fresh ways
Ever political leader invited for a chat
Respectfully grilled to discern fiction from fact
I think I learnt more from these interviews
No twisted focus and distortions as in the news
Got the fact straight once and for all listening
Tim’s Christian nature brought an unusual christening
I felt renewed interpretation when I listened to him
Meet the Press continues and in a way so does Tim
In Loving Memory of Tim Russert

Just one of several videos that will be made during this election.
The excitement in my community of the possibility of electing a POTUS that speaks to all people has been overwelming. I've met people who share my ideals and those who don't, but who realize that we all must work together to secure a future for our children and grandchildren. I've seen signage, t-shirts, buttons, all kinds of things that people have created/designed for our candidate. This morning, I received a YouTube video from one of my church members. Her mother-in-law has her own tribute to Sen. Obama. I've attached the link here for you to enjoy.

New York Still Life Oil on Canvas - 45cm x 60cm - Private Collection This painting was made in October 2001, right after. Now that some time has gone by I look at this painting, and it reminds me of those days. Since then New York has become a much bigger part of my life, I have visited every year since, and am glad to see that the city keeps going. New York represents, like no other place, the American dream. What is amazing is that when you are there the melting pot is boiling over, the whole world is all over that city and in every form imaginable. Let's take New York's example and learn how to live all together in a bigger sense. I created this video as a tribute to my husand and in extension to every soldier who has ever had to leave their family in the service of duty. To remind everyone that each soldier is a father, a mother, a husband, a wife, a son and a daughter, they are our brothers and sisters, and each of them should be remembered.

Forty years ago, Dr. Martin Luther King was assassinated and I was sixteen years old. Today in tribute to the change he brought and to honor the change Obama brings for the future, go to www.artwiththought.com, my business website, to view a visual montage of the courage that generation encountered to effect change in the sixties by clicking on the link "A tribute to change" at the top of the web page.
I hope you are inspired by what you see and hear.
Thanks for your time. Let me know your thoughts.
Good People!I just made a tribute to Barack DJ Mix, "The Audacity of Funk", featuring clips from his legendary Democratic
Convention speech and packed with socially conscious music.
