this forum of existence, he was that man. His life was a normal 137 orbits of the Goge Portal what is now called the Sun of this solar system. His father
was Takion who has lived forever. I now know his secret also for he developed the Jomon culture of ancient Japan. I was given that name later in my life
to carry on his and my father's work, but we will come to that later in this long, long tale that I am sure is the only link to who and what we all are here in
Time/Space.
My home was Ubnake a place near what is now called Cuba I am transcribing this material now from a hidden place deep under that old mountainous

Because of this advanced state of what some called "Omegonship" humanity was able to dwell in a complex yet peaceful state of behavior -- what scientist
now reference as a Phase 2 civilization, but one connected directly to the Primary Technology. Every field was known because every person was schooled
in their talent mission to strive for worth at every event sequence of their lives. Each and every person was born herein with a talent for some aspect of
existence. The talent was known early in their childhood and it was the point-of-departure for all future training and learning. The great multifaceted being
was complete in its holospirited existence with all parts identified and working in unison in the coherency of life...we were all in a high state of Love.
• There was no need for government or controlling factions in that old world due to the saturation of understanding within the family of man. There was
only one real way to be. The ultimate way. Dialogue was instilled within each and every one of us to strive to attain worth in every endeavor of our
development. Research had not stopped because we had attained utopia, it was creativity that came naturally to all of us to present a different facet of
understanding to every event sequence. There was never a more colorful world because we went beyond color and the elements and principles of design
and chaos was but unperceived unity to us. Chaos dynamics were known to kick in and we developed mechanisms to experience chaos in a slow motions
means so our minds could understand the symbolism of its presentation. We learned to live at the speed of Light. But our passion was to live with what
brought humanity to its primary realm. The Arena, where all were tested for worth and worthiness. If there were those who did not strive for advancement
beyond their talents and abilities and committed a crime against any man or woman the collective counsel would convene and if it were the decision of unit
of humanity, they would be sent away to live in the wilderness with other animals. Few were sent away due to the many attempts to advance the mentality
of the individual/s.
• They called our ancients the Atlantians or the Atlantis civilization. Though that word was indeed associated with our culture, it was not our word for
ourselves. We were the Enmayi Omegons a civilization that was not large or overpowering in numbers but we were the proprietors of Earth and it was our
home to learn in and through. We achieved the most advanced civilization due to our mentality. We were all educated on a constant basis. Trained to attain
worthiness in every aspect of our focus. In other words, we tried very, very hard. Most of our knowledge was attained through our methods of personal
memory. To put it differently, we used what we had and though we developed methods to store our memory for future generations in a computer-like
fashion, we believed in personal relay of data. Collectively we were the grand depositories of knowledge. Our language was massive and highly
developed. It was iconic in nature with words and pictures being incorporated into one means of expression. Later after the great catastrophe, this
language broke into the many that we now see spread across the Earth. It once was one large and comprehensive body of knowledge expressed in precise
words and symbols. The language was based on the genetic code that humanity is only now rediscovering. The genetic code was the primary objective
when humanity first passed through the portal of Goge. It is all we came with when we came here. What some call DNA was our point of departure in
creating the realms seen now on an ever-changing matrix that few minds now understand. This knowledge was onboard our minds the day we arrived here
in our forefathers Ult-Shemas (spacecraft or a form of broadcast burst-packets).
• The entire Earth was covered to some degree or another with human population when I was borne here. Though some parts of the livable ground were
highly inhospitable to the human form, we developed systems to work around the Ice that began to form some 40,000 years ago at the poles. Much of the
Earth was covered in Ice and was very different places in comparison to the present state of the environment. Days were mostly calm and weather was
less than since the catastrophe. Population of the whole Earth did not exceed 500 million souls. Yet, in the distant past, some 100,000 years ago, life was
very compact on this planet -- not unlike the present time, 2008. The oceans were less and were almost 1,000 feet more shallow though the mountains
were higher; there were always Ice caps on almost all of them as they stayed there year round. Most humans lived in the lowlands not far from the sea.
Farming and Agriculture was highly advanced with canals and planting domes everywhere present to use the extremely active and fertile soil. Large animals
were created to assist in the farming and arboreal secession via genetic development. Each animal was developed for a specific talent to assist human
developers in the Primary Technology Research. Harmony of these systems was then, highly developed.
• Micro and Macro systems were highly developed during those days. We understood how powerful the micro systems were so we could build very large
structures and machines to manage the land and develop the resources of the Earth. Extracting energy from the vacuum of either drove our power
system/s. Mercury was as today's oil industry. It helped power our Ult-Shemas in all forms down to our Shemas. We did not utilize the wheel as much as
is used in the civilization of today. We had few roadways or expressways due to our travel via animals or flying in our Shema-systems. Most access to
Earth was accomplished by entry points which were found all about the lands. Their forms which were pyramid shaped had moving stairs so people could
move up into the Shemas (Mercury/Plasma Catalytic Devices) You may currently know of this old system as MEG overunity systems or adjacent devices
called Brown's Gas systems. There was no cost to travel anywhere on the Earth. There was no cost at all. We traded anything of high value for like value
or gave of our collective and vast wealth. Energy was free and available to everyone for their movement utilization whether bodily or used for simple home
states. Almost everyone had just about everything anyone else had and to envy another was not a positive trait to create worth in an individual. Achieving
worth was our highest goal for each of us had a mission in life.

In the fifth century, Saint Augustine indicated that God created the universe out of and outside of time. Timelessness is an interesting subject to think on
scientifically as well as spiritually. Ask a scientist the ultimate why, and he will say we came from no thing. Then ask him to explain what no thing is -- It will
probably look about like the clothes that the emperor was wearing, the day the little boy decided to think for himself and find deeper meaning in the
apparentness found inside the soul. Half of science is an assumption (educated guess) -- the other half manifests in a fabricated illusion built upon known
parts with no relationship to the totality. Science is done while we preoccupy ourselves with "their" reality. Humanity must return to waiting for the one
who whispers to our deepest consciousness...the truths of being. Einstein called this mental-abyss, the little "Old Man" inside of us. He may point to the
Burgeoning of Humanity.
It was once said that the face of God is a fraction past, and inclusive of the optical nerve and what drives it. Godhood is not necessarily conceptual, it (the
Absolute) is being and becoming and only the created (crystallized) can be thought upon as it issues forth from the generative order or the Void that we do
not presently understand. The Absolute is ongoing, nonlinear, non-local (to our perception), self-similar, self-organizing, and creative. Whatever else it is
cannot be known by one mind (a part or child of...), total perception can only be known by totality. The part can never know the whole while it is the part.
It must join the whole for total knowing. It is believed that Buddha did this and Christ was always this. The "Me" must embrace (love, know, join or be
aware of) the Other, because the Other is the Me (the all-self). We are in this together. The joining becomes the Essence.
Einstein offered many clues to the real secret to knowing our existence. It has been reported that he somehow believed deeply in mystical possibilities,
knowing that a balance of science and spiritual concepts held the secrets of true knowing. These double icons of wisdom, working in unison, would in the
end put mankind on a new threshold of understanding. Each point of departure would really reinforce and compliment the other when humanity finally
adopted the right path of perceptive ascension. Einstein's quest was to attain the gestalt-view and his life showed that one without the other was lame. Yet
our scientific and religious society continues to polarize the great avenues of wisdom to fragment humanity into fruitless pursuits through ambitious
leveraging for power. Polarization may be the ultimate evil.
The Universe and Manifest Mind -- A theory
There exists in the realm of experiences much more than the big bang as a source for the universe's beginnings and our subsequent introduction into being.
Consider the concepts of holography, feedback loops, fractals, the broadcast of the electromagnetic spectrum, quantum theory (local and nonlocality), and
many other subjects of creative delineation through scientific or deific manifestation. The fact remains that "mind" is present in this continuum. Where does it
come from and how does it manifest?
Let us consider a new concept...Virtual Reality. It is a human endeavor to participate in a computer-created world via extra-electro-sensors such as
viewing goggles, gloves or a total sensor-suit. Those who immerse into this newly created world can experience perceptual stimuli that approach the visual
and tactile expressions of reality. The Department of Defense and NASA have plans to converge robotics with VR to allow a cybernaut to travel, work,
and fight in hostile environs while controlled by a human at a remote site. With such capabilities, we would be able to explore the universe from our own
living rooms --thereby experiencing vicariously the stimuli of pain, suffering and learning via feedback information from afar.
A Scenario
Imagine putting on a head-mounted display and body-sensor suit that would correspond to sensors in a robot that might be millions of miles away -- say
on Mars. You could actually become part of a cyber-being that would interact with the Martian environment. Turn your head and it reacts to your every
movement, and sensual stimuli from the planet causes you to react via feedback. You would be able to experience all the wonders of such a far away place
in a direct sensory manner. One wonders, would living through this vehicle eventually displace your understanding of true reality? What if you could
programme its memory with yours through DNA programming, then allow someone else on another shift to pick up and continue with his experiments and
adds his programmes or thoughts to the same robot? Each day the robot would become more sophisticated as its experiences multiplied. Later we could
add new advances in micro-machines and nanotechnology to create an evolving robot that would actually grow physically toward higher accomplishments.
It could be programmed to repair itself and perhaps even give a cyber-birth to new cyber-forms that would assist you in your exploration. With new
additions being developed back on Earth you could even get the feeling that you were on that planet instead of your robotic vehicle. You might get so good
at controlling more than one robot at a time that you would become a family or a nation of robots letting you experience the grandeur of multiple
personalities. What fun!
Discovering the Mystery
Intertwined in this "fun" experience is the length, width, breadth and timelessness of the greatest mystery of the universe. If we can attain the above
experience via VR in this rudimentary human invention, who is to say that this is not what is already happening to Godhead at this very instance. We were
created in his image. Who can refute that we are all an experiment of a higher being that is currently enjoying a broadcasted reality via quantum particles
that are electromagnetically constituted into this reality that we "think" we are experiencing right now. Hindu, the oldest religion on Earth, speaks of the
One with no second, who lives through all of us in his "playing." Is God playing life through us and we just forgot that we are part of another realm where
experiencing a VR is the preoccupation of timelessness?
Think of your own becoming. When you were conceived, you and your DNA program came into a body that was new and hard to maneuver in a physical
state. God's VR has a learning curve. You had to get familiar with the new apparatus. REASON or mind began to learn to use the Holy Temple. When a
baby first arrives on Earth he/she is mentally more a part of everything or what some call the Other or the Essence. Some say we are actually smarter at
birth and just learn to be somatically stupid. During the first few months, ego has not yet made its stand against the universe. The ego-image has not yet
formed until it begins to observe itself in the eye of the other. Mirroring sets the self in a reality that is shown or received via sensors. Sensory experiences
create the other for the individual. Soon you will learn to forget where you came from because of the dictates of this state. Learning to live in this physical
world is our crux of being...to become. We learn to stand upon our experiences as a cushion from the void (a place we only know of in another state). The
void represents the unknown or feeling of loneliness and awe. We feel very small against our lack of knowing. It has been posited that if we are not
observed by the other, we begin to feel lonely as if we do not exist. Recognition and observation is basic to (quantum) being for all that makes up the
universe. Worthiness began to set the stage for worship when mankind sought to remember his being in this physical state. Religion was once the science of
that being.
Do all of our religious writings suggest that at the core of those impassioned words lies the secret and the truth of our reality? Yes. Religious traditions say
that God gave us being and the Word -- REASON. Reason or mentality is our existence within the somatic-vehicular experience. Our bodies are our holy
temples or means of motivation in a physical state. We should not do harm to our Holy Temples. Another point of Reason is that we should love our
neighbors as we love ourselves. This may be because we are our neighbors as a result of their input to our being. It is possible that at the end of this God
projected VR, we'll learn that we did all those dirty deeds to ourselves. The above may be the Why of religion...a method to awaken to the real being
involved in this life episode.
Today almost all members of our scientific community are gradually coming to realize that reality is indeed beyond our current theories and some have
suggested that our environ is a God-like concept...the god of Mental Universal technology on an unbelievable scale...the quantum entity. Some say that the
universe is a massive computer where numbers are the language that it creates for its virtual reality from. When great scientists like David Bohm, Paul
Davies and others marvel that mankind can even contemplate the universe, what Bohm calls the holomovement -- a realm that is a manifestation or
broadcast of Being, progress in existential understanding is being made. How can mankind even think about something so magnificent as the makeup of
himself and the universe? Quantification is the key here -- to assign REASON is to measure knowing in a physical state. This universe may be a
combination of VR, quantum physics, nanotechnology, holography, fractal geometry, plasma physics, computational mirroring, inherent cosmological
understanding and much more. The possibility that we may discover the truth of what we are, might just be found in the Virtual Reality Synergism.
Over the next few years mankind will be subjected to the possibility of universal knowing on a scale that could only be called a "revelation." Soon,
humanity may learn that all those ancient words that our ancestors were in awe of, will suddenly come into a living understanding that will cause a new birth
of higher knowing. This new stage will amount to a Being full of billions and billions of experiences incorporated to embark upon a new direction of
increasing cognition and spirituality. Then mankind will leave this "wheel" (Earthly existence) and graduate to things that we can only dream of -- unless our
dreams are the reality of this VR? To think that this could happen was once laughed at by skeptics, but they probably have not had the experience of even
the current versions of Virtual Reality.
Getting a grip on reality
If people think VR is somewhat unbelievable, read this --technologists and scientists for business, the Department of Defense and NASA are working hard
to help us get more out of virtual reality. They are working on a kind of camera that will reach out and grab reality no matter where it is. They believe that,
if just a tiny particulate of the once known reality can be quantified (triangulated), then its reality can possibly be reconstituted using all the known equations
of today's mathematical (fractal geometry?) reality. What kind of camera could do this? Some call it a "reality-grabber."
The reality-grabber is a computerized configuration that can measure and organize the environ that it comes in contact with via conventional camera and
sophisticated digital scanning conversions of a multiplicity of electromagnetic data. Holography and fractal geometry would play an important role in the
output of its malleable and quantifiable data. Such a machine would also know where it is at all times in the physical environment as it relates to planetary
and Earthly data. With the above information and a "mirror" software ability to organize every little bit of information, such an apparatus could record and
distribute data that would make Virtual Reality as common as today's television only with billions of alternative programming options possible. Individuals
wishing to have their own interactive ability with the output program could easily experience any number of sequences that others may never stumble upon.
Variety would indeed be the spice of life.
When the RG becomes available to VR, think of all the possibilities for learning, travel and entertainment. Simulation of every physical task could be
available for instant enjoyment and replay. The reality-grabbers resolution of visual data will be astonishing, because holographic images (dynamic-data)
will be delivered for life-like learning or experiencing via any format of delivery with computer enhancement amplifying its data-signals whatever its
"footprint." The media will no longer be the message; instead -- the message will be the virtual experience. You will become Steven Spielberg because the
entire studio will be at your fingertips for editing, special effects, reshooting, sound track/s, lighting, mixing and output. There's no redoing the scene
because any and all possible alternatives could be reconstructed with the available data of the reality-grabber.
Ultra-vicarious experiences will be possible if the RG has just a few points to triangulate in order to reconstitute. We are talking about a world of instant
mirroring of reality for reuse. Its like a radio talk show that broadcasts a few seconds after the primary incidence except you can change its outcome for
interfacing and integration. This will allow many things: to replay reality, even get ahead of what is really happening so trial and error strategy can anticipate
what the outcome might be; to recreate and pre-create alternate case histories that aren't even history yet; to simulate the future. The idea of creating a
mirror world is perhaps so new that its potential to society is not totally extrapolatable.
I believe that one repercussion of the above technology will be, that we will have to rethink the concept of vocation. At this point in time, many people are
already out of a job because of burgeoning technology and its only getting worse. With this new powerful concept of Virtual Reality exploding into our
future, and because of the prospects of the reality-grabber, almost all creative informating (metamorphosis of media) activities will also ignite into a chaos
of information saturation. Consider that all of us will be showing-off the "systems" creativity, who will be around to buy when all of humanity is
experiencing the mindscape? Since technology replaces humanity, who will be able to afford it? Are we humans creating our own dead end? Or, are we
entering the process for creating the next world?
If we develop a reality-grabber that's better than the lens of the human mind, where will we find ourselves? True it will amplify our capabilities to that of
simulated godhood, but what about the experiential and educational equity to the rest of us? Some of us will become living gods -- being able to afford
the technology that will educate our children at a light-year/ lightspeed level over the common individual's inaccessiblity to the techworld. We will create the
ultimate disparity, opening ourselves up to polarizations that will need to be addressed in a civilization and world that can literally jump to a new punctuated
equilibrium -- creating a new Otherworld overnight. Conflict resolution will certainly be the business to be involved in, (lawyers and psychologists will have
more work) as humanity continues to become the behemoth that some of us once saw on our ever expanding horizon of cybermedia.
Overcoming the barriers to Mind and Body
The next step beyond the digitizing of reality will lead to the "beaming up of Scottie." Even now, scientists are working at breakneck speed to convert our
digital world to one embracing DNA and its dimensional enhancement of computing via four molecule combinations -- A T C G rather than 0 and 1. Thus,
we may begin to understand the ancient messages of Brahma (Hari the four-faced) who, according to Hindu tradition, was the instrument of creation in
conjunction with the First Cause. Here we may rediscover knowledge that humanity once took for granted. Once humanity unites the disciplines of Genetic
Engineering with the symbol of the ancient caduceus, which is DNA's double helix, then we will begin to create tools that will build a new and higher
understanding of universal purpose. Building the super-mind via the tools of DNA through the amplification of neuronic-technology (neurons of the human
brain) will set our flight from Earth toward the super-universe. Before this happens, mankind will need to fully understand the connection between himself
and the Divine act of creation including the true understanding of Light and Mind. I’ll lead you on an inner journeyA journey to a place where your truth lies….Not my truth or their truthBut your truth that resides inside.

It’s because they are all across the country and provide a variety of jobs and they borrow and spend?How do you stimulate small business?: Normally small businesses which are existing or that which wish to start up seek private funding through investement, loans and federal assistance. However due to the current economic EMERGENCY, the private sector options are no longer available. This leaves only Federal funding for small businesses. Our Federal agencies hold many applications from small businesses.: Various agencies have applications from small businesses that want to do work, some of which the government is requesting to be done. Some of which they have come up with on their own, which are called “unsolicited proposals” but which could still be of value. Some of this work is manual labor, some of this work is research and a lot of it is a variety of other opportunities.Some funds could already be available!: Many of these Federal agencies most likely already have some funds set aside for Grant funding or other funding. These agencies could pull all small business applications and Grand Total the amounts needed to fund all of them and the stimulus package could authorize additional funds, which may or may not be needed. The stimulus package and/or a Directive by the President should order these agencies to "clear their coffers". The definition of small business has already been defined.: The Government has already defined the term "small business", so there is no need to redefine it or figure out what articulates into a small business.
These small businesses have already gone through the Grants.gov verification processes!: Before applying for Grants, SBIR’s and/or STTR’s each business must go through a verification process.
There are already established monitoring systems set up.: Government auditing, reports and etc..are already established by each agency.
Grants.gov already has bank routing numbers for each business.: As a requirement during the verification process, Grants.gov requires that a bank account already be established. The funds could be dispersed quickly and put to use quickly.
Unfortunately the amounts they offer, $100,000 to $150,00 in most case are not sufficient to actually start a business. A business beginning with nothing has to have the funds needed to buy supplies, lease property, purchase equipment etc… and cover salaries for at least a year to allow the business to grow and build a customer base which can sustain them. Another source for small business interest is the Small Business Administration.
It is important to provide enough funding: to allow for these businesses to start and to have enough to sustain them for at least a year, two years would be best, so that they can build a customer base to sustain themselves. Not all will succeed and it could be required that unused funds be returned if they fail. But I believe there will be many more that will succeed and some may even provide us all with some unexpected benefits.
So have theses agencies, a list of Granting Agencies is on Grants.gov, pull all small business applications and provide funding. Open up more opportunities for small businesses. These small businesses are ready, willing and able to begin work and put others to work, so let them.

In the end, the only real stimulation you could provide which can do what needs done, is through creating jobs all across the country with a variety of work skills. To meet that objective effectively you have to build up your small business base.
That way when all the other bills such as TARP and others can actually do some good.
Americans have a way of pulling themselves up. Give us a chance to show you how well we can do that and help us, help you, help us all.
Small Businesses, existing and new, could play a big part of stimulating our economy and progression to recovery. It should be included in conjunction with other ideas which are currently a part of the plan.

Times are getting sketchy, and CEOs of big corporations are asking the government for bailouts.
In my mind, I strongly believe that the economy needs to be introduced to a new industry.
If marijuana is legalized on a national level it can be widely distributed, ending underground operation, lowering crime rates, and the public does need something to chill them out once in a while.
Not only that, it can stimulate the economy by giving more jobs and circulate more money.
An industry that is based on a consumable plant means more growth and diversity in the economy.
The strongest economy is a diverse economy.It can also alleviate the dot com influence if the United States were to become a large export of a consumable plant. The economy will constantly have a demand for consumables.

It may be that in the problem there is a solution.
Millions of properties are currently in or moving into the foreclosure process. Many of these homes have persons renting them who are being forced into the street because the rents they paid to landlords are not being paid to banks. I just viewed a news story yesterday about a police official refusing to evict tenants who have been paying their rent.
Ideally, banks currently owning mortgages would set up a program where rent-to-own becomes the driving force of tenants becoming homeowners. A pool would be established for rent paid by tenants, which would accumulate on the home they occupy. When the minimum down payment amount is reached, the occupant would begin the process to purchase the property.
Less desirable would be for the government to buy these bad mortgages and then they set up this program.
Tenants have already chosen the homes where they live. A portion of the rent paid would be placed in a pool, eventually becoming a down payment for purchase. Homes would be occupied saving them from vandalism as well as deterioration of the surrounding neighborhood. This solution offers access to home ownership for families and individuals who currently do not have the savings required to purchase a home.
Families or individuals would instantly become invested in their neighborhoods or communities. I believe that Americans will quickly step up to the opportunity to own a home with money that they are already spending on rent.
The economy might be restored quicker than waiting for investors to take over these mortgages and then waiting for tenants to occupy them.
Dear President Obama,
There are 10 immediate things that MUST be done to rebuild confidence in our financial system and for regular investors:
1. Transparency in the Value of All Assets and Debt obligations for All financial Institutions by publishing on the internet, including offshore ties, Credit Default Swaps, Derivatives, Mortgage Back Securities, Liquidity, Fixed Income products. NO TRANSPARENCY, NO HELP - YOU WILL FAIL.
2. Freeze the Credit Default Swaps Market. Install regulation, and phase out immediately. Freeze any market product that does not have transparency or regulation including derivatives.
3. Credit Availability to Regional Banks for Qualified Business Loan Clients, SO MAIN STREET WORKS.
4. Big Increase in Federal Insurance for Bank Accounts (checking and saving), Money Market, and Investment Accounts held by Brokers. This will stop any panic of withdrawing immediately.
5. Ban Naked Short Selling. Regulate Hedge Funds Immediately with trading rules to protect investors from electronic trading raids, and to provide disclosure and transparency. Unethical trading techniques and nondisclosure has allowed Hedge Funds to create panic in the marketplace by naked shorting or pump and dump schemes for short term gains. Sometimes, these strategies severely impact companies who are looking to raise funds or they create a panic of no confidence. Create rules to PROTECT regular investors.
6. DO NOT use Taxpayer money to buy ANY ILLIQUID or BAD ASSETS that are not substantiated by any tangibility or that are Uncollateralized. US TREASURY must pay cents on the dollar, or at most, the market value, and never pay original values of these assets. Mortgages have property as collateral, so they may be ok, but must be purchased at a huge discount for the benefit of taxpayer money. But refuse uncollateralized debt. BY DOING THIS WE WILL PUT THE TREASURY AT RISK.
7. Reduce the Maximum Leveraging ratio dramaticallyand regulate strongly so that companies who wish to borrow, cannot overborrow. How can you borrow that much more than you are worth?
8. DO NOT ELIMINATE MARK TO MARKET RULE: this is a cry for bankers so they can HIDE what is actually the severity of the assets devaluation.
9. Liquidity for Interbank lending and control of interbank lending rates.
10. ACCOUNTABILITY for all those involved in creating and dealing junk instruments that have put our economy in jeopardy including Credit Default Swaps, etc. Justice must be done. Jailtime and heavy fines must be levied to those that have profited by high compensation.
WHAT CAUSED THIS MESS: EXPLAINED IN 10 POINTS...
1. People bought homes that were once worth 300,000 dollars with little or no money down. Example, $15000 down.
2. Risky mortgages were underwritten for an value of 600,000 (value of property + interest).
3. Products were created by compiling these mortgages, and sold to investment banks and investors worldwide. Lets call them derivatives. As an example, lets combine 100 such mortgages, and call it 1 derivative product.
4. These institutions who bought these risky products valued them at some absurd number. Say 600,000 x 100 = 60 million dollar asset.
5. These banks had the audacity to borrow against these already leveraged assets in ratios that were absurd. Lets take the example of 10 to 1. So they would borrow 600 million using this 60 million dollar derivative product as collateral.
6. To hedge this horrendous leveraging scheme, they bought an insurance product called Credit Default Swaps from peer investment banks basically guaranteeing that if the mortgage or derivative product failed, they would be able to recoup the funds.
7. The problem is that Credit Default Swaps are not regulated so these banks did not keep any collateral to pay out in case there was a failure. They cheated the Federal regulators Credit Default Swaps NOT being an insurance product when it actually is EXACTLY an insurance product.
8. So, people defaulted, and values of homes fell. Then banks had to write down the value of the assets that they bought as derivatives and mortgage back securities. Then the money that these banks borrowed using these bad mortgages as collateral were being called in by lenders. Finally the purchasers of insurance product Credit Default Swaps that insured these bad mortgage products and derivatives also asked for their payout due to failure.
9. The credit mess created by overleveraging very poor assets is valued at 40 Trillion Dollars.
less than 2% of this is the actual value of the bad mortgages. 98% of this credit horror is caused by investment banks, banks, and those that participated in this.
10. People familiar with this horrendous scheme of credit default swaps and overleveraged mortgage products that were high risk saw the opportunity to go directly to markets and intensify short positions in almost every big bank, a move that they knew would benefit them when the credit default swap cancer was exposed. The problem is that this caused a crisis of confidence and lenders as well as depositors wanted to remove their money immediately. This is termed a RUN ON THE BANK. This, along with horrendous credit instruments, caused liquidity crisis that is going to fail many banks and will fail many more.
How does this affect everyone:
1. Any retirement fund, 401k, etc will fall with the market.
2. Banks have hefty losses and do not have the liquidity to lend any money to small businesses. These businesses in turn will not be able to invest in machinery, infrastructure, etc to grow, and it may affect cashflow. Business that require credit will be under pressure and will be forced to lay off people.
What should be done?
We must restore trust to the markets through transparency and rigorous regulations. Otherwise, every investor will want to cash out immediately since we trust NOTHING on wall street.
Barack Obama MUST address these specifics ASAP to show he understands the crisis, and is able to solve it.

Dear Secretary Paulson:
I am writing to you with a proposal which I encourage you to consider within the context of the legislation currently being drafted by Congress regarding the Treasury’s reverse auction purchase of mortgage related assets by an amount of up to $700 billion. My proposal is politically neutral, revenue positive, limited in scope, avoids “moral hazard” at both the individual and financial institution levels and directly addresses the current overhang of new and existing single family homes held for sale.
Before briefly outlining my proposal, however, Mr. Secretary, I would like to state the following: I have been a student of and professional engaged in capital markets for more than fifteen years. As such, I know that last week’s developments, if left unchecked for a matter of only a few hours more, would have led to a total systemic failure of the global financial system. Your efforts to halt the then ensuing “death spiral” are sincerely appreciated. You have spared the American people from untold hardship, the likes of which have not been seen since the Great Depression.
The outlines of my proposal are as follows:
Mr. Secretary, I applaud your efforts to avoid the “moral hazard” of baling out both individuals and institutions that made irresponsible decisions in the past. I believe the authority you are currently seeking from the Congress to purchase mortgage related assets largely avoids this problem as those institutions which tender these securities will still be forced to take the necessary marks to their portfolios. I do not believe my proposal in any way presents a “moral hazard” issue either.
Current law allows first time home buyers to withdraw up to $10,000.00 from a Roth IRA account without taxation. I believe the same relief is extended to monies withdrawn from regular IRA accounts. This tax relief was recently enhanced by the Housing Assistance Tax Act of 2008 which included a $7,500.00 tax credit for first time purchases. The tax credit in this Act, however, phases out for individuals with incomes exceeding $75,000.00 and the credit is “re-paid” over a fifteen year period.
I propose that the tax exemption limit for withdrawals from Roth IRA accounts be raised to $150,000.00 for first time purchasers. Income tax on these monies was already collected by State and Federal governments. In addition, I propose that monies withdrawn from regular IRA accounts be taxed at the fifteen percent capital gains tax rate for first time purchasers, again, up to $150,000.00. This legislation should be limited in duration to July 1, 2009.
I believe these proposed changes embody a “win-win” for all constituencies and for the United States of America, while limiting the potential for unintended consequences. Specifically, I believe they would result in the following positive developments:
First, the changes would provide for the genesis of a limited new group of first time home buyers, thereby allowing the current glut of housing stock for sale to return to normalized levels without causing a tectonic shift from one asset class to another. In turn, this would help to restore the supply/demand balance in the housing market, thereby stemming the ongoing decline in the value of all homes. Of course, these developments would have positive implications for the regional banks’ balance sheets insofar as they are exposed both to the primary mortgage market as well as the home equity loan market. Existing homeowners would also benefit as the value of their homes would cease to be negatively impacted by the “neighborhood” effect.
Second, since regular and Roth IRAs are mere investment vehicles, no one type of fiduciary institution or market would be unduly affected by the implicit withdrawal of funds inherent in my proposal. Some of the withdrawals would come from bank CDs, some from money market funds, some from the bond market and others from the equity market. In essence, this temporary “burden” would be diffused and, in the end, I believe the resultant improvement in the underlying economy and equity markets would more than offset this temporary shift in asset allocation.
Next, since withdrawals from regular IRA accounts would be taxed at the capital gains tax rate, the Treasury’s current funding needs would be bolstered at a time when the federal deficit is increasing at an alarming pace. The resultant increase in marginal revenues from my proposal may actually lower the deficit’s overall cost to the taxpayer by concurrently lowering the yield on Treasury securities due to the implicit improvement in the federal government’s balance sheet. Also, to the extent that the Treasury acquires mortgage related assets within the parameters of the legislation currently being considered, the resultant improvement in the underlying housing market will help to mitigate the final cost to the taxpayer under this program.
Finally, it is clear that a rebound in general economic activity can not be achieved until the current dislocations in the housing market and resultant negative effects on our nation’s financial system are reversed. I believe my proposals would go a long way to help turn the tide in this respect. Ultimately, this reversal will allow the Federal Reserve to free itself from being held hostage to the cascade of falling asset values and permit it to pursue monetary policy in a manner which is truly balanced between the dual objectives of full employment and price stability. In addition, our nation’s trade and foreign policy initiatives will regain strength. Bolstered by a vibrant economy and a sound financial system our representatives will no longer be hamstrung in their response to the specter of the Chinese balking at the rollover of debt at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac or Russia’s aggressive incursions into fledgling democracies and the potential disruptions to the supply of natural resources inherent therein. My proposal will also allow many of our nation’s wounded financial institutions to repair themselves based on improving economic fundamentals, not questionable recapitalizations by foreign sovereign wealth funds.
As they should, many irresponsible financial institutions will fail in coming quarters due to their past mistakes. The more prudent institutions will benefit through increased market share and pricing power in the future. In the same respect, by allowing them to participate in the American dream of home ownership I believe my proposal would benefit those Americans that did not overextend themselves. To the extent that these same American taxpayers will be burdened by the costs of irresponsible parties’ actions of the past, and to the extent that they have been further penalized by the erosion of the value of their savings in recent years as measured by the true rate of inflation, I believe they deserve the opportunity inherent in my proposal.
Finally, in a politically charged election year, legislation designed to address the current financial/economic crisis must be politically acceptable on both sides of the aisle. Since my proposal encourages home ownership, does not have “moral hazard” implications, is targeted to middle income citizens, is immediately revenue positive, can be viewed as a tax cut, rewards responsible lending and borrowing practices, and is a temporary action, I believe it should be enthusiastically embraced by both political parties.

We are facing the biggest challenge and perhaps the greatest opportunity to-date. And there is not much time to act on this. The Republicans would like us to throw 700 Billion to 1 Trillion dollars at Wall Street to buy enough time to win the election, without solving the actual problems that got us here. We can't let them do that, but we can't let our markets fail. BUT, Obama could show remarkable leadership and begin to iconify himself as a leader among leaders (the kind that may be seen in once a generation) by rallying the democratic side under his banner to modify the proposal to begin to fix the actual problems. Now this proposal should obviously be constructed by economic advisors who understand the intricacies of the economy, but here are some basic suggestions: 1. Fix the cause of the problem The cause was housing prices falling and causing all this debt to become bad debt. We can fix a lot of the problem by increasing home values (a tall order, I know). This certainly wouldn't be easy but it might be possible if something totally new and unprecedented was attempted to limit what can happen to foreclosures. Adding new rules or a program to stop/limit foreclosures would also solve the problem from directly on Main Street. If Wall Street can feel confident that a house will be "insured" under a new program that helps the holding company prevent total loss and the homeowner loss of their home, you could end up solving the source of the entire economy problem! I'm a novice, but I like this method because it looks like it bypasses rewarding Wall Street with a Trillion dollars of tax money and it affects peoples lives directly and is clearly a solution to the average joe. (All they would hear is that, "Don’t worry about loosing your house, you just file for this program and you get on a government payment plan." or something like that). Again. I'm a novice, but I always thought that all that trumped up interest was just hooey anyway. 2. Restore Market Confidence This means finding a way to help the market feel better about the way things are going. This is a complicated thing. Republican side focused on just this where they come up with the justification for the 700 Billion. Instead of just throwing money at the problem my suggestion is to restore strict regulations. Maybe we can support some conditional bailouts to shore up the damage from the "lost interest" of a plan like I suggested in #1. But, and this is important, we can't let them "fix" the problem with the kind of suggested "Don't read - Just sign" plan. We could be in danger of letting another misguided "Patriot Act" type bill get through and screw us up further. We've got a limited control and they NEED us. Mostly we need to just take charge of this situation. We need to own-it, get it fixed, and then finally attack McCain for being a major cause of all this. Even the Republicans are having a hard time supporting McCain's history on this disaster. If Obama can Save the Economy and Save the World from a world-wide depression, he will instantly earn his wings as the experienced leader with expert judgment dispite what McCain has been trying to mock. Finally, we can hit McCain with an offensive. Drive home that the "deregulation at all costs" is a bad approach and that McCain isn't really aware of what's going on (maybe go with the "old and confused" theme). Then maybe we'll see not only the Presidency, but also a filibuster proof majority.
Call your congressman and senator and tell him or her that you want them to support Obama's plan to help Main Street. If Wall Street wants our help, then they must pay a price. They are working on action this weekend. Call them. Blow up the phone lines.
