All,
Barack is winning over conservatives in greater numbers than usual.
Christopher Buckley, the son of the late conservative icon William F. Buckley, said Friday he's decided to back Barack Obama's White House bid, the first time in his life he will vote Democrat.

Barack delivered a very strong performance in the last debate.
McCain's V.P. pick of Palin marginalized his chances for the White House leaving the Republican ticket with only Two political tools left, character assassination of Obama and Biden and making promises you cannot keep.
Its time to press our advantage.
Lets seal the deal and deliver real change to the White House.
Lets re-double our efforts to win this race.

Thanks for all you do for Barack, Michelle and Joe.
Politico story on how Sarah Palin is not as much of an anti-earmark reformer as was thought:
Senator John McCain recently told reporters that Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has “learned that earmarks are bad.”But not that bad, apparently. According to a “summary of requests for federal appropriations” posted to her budget office’s website earlier this year, Palin requested millions of federal dollars for everything from improving recreational halibut fishing to studying the mating habits of crabs and the DNA of harbor seals. It’s a position at odds with her recasting as an anti-earmarking champion, and with the tone of the biting scorn she’s employed toward the budgetary practice this week.

Obama is running for president. The blue seal is an advertising/PR gimmick, playing on the design of the presidential seal. Panties need not be twisted.
Now, today, checking memeorandum again, I see that the reaction isn't quite what the Obama camp had hoped for, so with only one use and around 48hrs later, the plug is pulled on the seal concept. Perhaps those panties got twisted after all.
Cue the "thrown under the bus" line.
Anyway, I figure that, even if the graphic design department of Obama's marketing team swings and misses every once and awhile, there could be a silver lining: Ebay. Collectors just love things that were only used once, controversial, and represent their own milestone in American history, so maybe it'd get a fair price. Donate the proceeds to a worthy cause, and presto!... you've turned a losing idea into a winning one.
Senator Obama, please GET RID of that seal. You have made progress fighting the arrogant, elitist charges and the last thing you want is another issue to take focus off your message. I am a huge supporter of yours and was really turned off by the seal. It gives the GOP something else to critize since they can't run on their record.
Just get rid of the seal and say it was a joke and let's get back to showing how McCBush is bad for america.
Dear Senator Obama,
I truly believe in what you stand for, and I am directing all of my efforts both professional and personal to get you elected as the next President of the United States. I am doing this because I think we need a guy like you, one who seems to speak the truth and is dignified, intelligent, and genuine.
However, I must say as someone who is your biggest fan, I think its unappropriate, ingenuine, and dare I say it..CORNY, to have the new Seal look so much like the Presidential seal. I understand in the big scheme of things that it will not matter, but perceptions in this country are everything, as I'm sure your team realizes.
Today my first thought when I saw the new Seal was not what normally comes to my mind when I think of you.
I think you might come off as a bit too "presumptive" as it were, and someone who is trying too hard to win the hearts and "Minds".
I say please just be yourself, if you lasted for seventeen months against Hillary Clinton, and kept your image as great as it currently now remains, then something must be working right.
This is only my humble opinion, and I can't wait to see you behind the REAL Presidential Seal.
In the words of some guy I don't really know.. "IF IT AINT BROKE DON'T FIX IT."
Thank You
Bobby
