They have many great designs, below is just a small sampling of some of my favorites…
Go check them out! To all the designers that have contributed - very nice work!
Someone in the McCain campaign seems to have missed the significance of the rays behind a political figure in the history of political poster propaganda. Eerily ironic, isn't it?
A number of people have requested I post the Obama poster and pins again. These posters and pins have a little story. With only a few weeks left before the big event in Washington DC, our local bake sale fell short to raise the funds for the permits, tables, stage, and other costs for a big rally and fund raiser in Washington DC. A grassroots event is just that, grassroots and cannot receive support from the campaign or the DNC.
With people making plans to attend and bands volunteering, I sat down and painted a portrait of Obama. Not a portrait artist, but I used to paint wildlife in watercolors. Working as a nurse in the ER, I got home from a shift, started painting, answering emails, and trying to keep ahead of a growing event. The grassroots groups have been great help, and it is coming together. I finished the painting and had a limited edition printed off along with pins from the same artwork. I am pleased to say, the stage is being built thanks to everyone!
The original painting will be in Washington DC framed, and raffled off as a fund raiser for the Presidential campaign.

What is happening with Obama’s “Artists for Obama” posters is a phenomenon called the network effect. The posters are more desirable, the more supporters Obama gets; more posters helps to get more supporters. The current rate of Obama supporter growth (those who want Obama posters) is greater than the supply of posters available. Therefore, the more success Obama has the more valuable all the posters will be. By the way, 5000 is a huge run. I cannot believe they sold out so fast. The buyers are either supporters or collectors of Obama Art and add in the sheer impressiveness of Hansen’s work equals SOLD OUT.
Most importantly, these first two posters, Hansen’s “PROGRESS” and Fairey’s “CHANGE,” are made with Love. Yes, Love. Both artists donated their work to help a movement that is challenging us all to pursue our better angels for the good of the USA and World.
Scott and Barack inspire me! They are doing to doing what is right, not for personal ambition, but for a better World. Thank you.
Finally, these limited-edition posters are worth $200 to $380 anyway. Therefore, those who bought at $70 are getting a bargain to start. Are they worth more than that? Ask again after November.
One of my recent miniature oil paintings of Barack, currently available on Ebay. A great way to purchase a very nice and detailed original portrait of Barack at an affordable price.
I'm a published artist and gallery exhibited artist, but probably of most interest to the visitors to barackobama.com is that I'm the creator of the formerly very Right-Wing conservative Christian Faithmouse cartoon, which during the past year has taken a non-partisan direction.
About Faithmouse
I take requests for paintings and cartoons as well; the Faithmouse Megathread on Something Awful is a good place to view some of this recent work.
Anyone is welcome to post the above image to their own blog, sites or forums. Also, please consider joining in an ongoing non-partisan blogger Googlebombing demonstration of the 2008 Beijing Olympics in China.
Here is a link to a site that has a vast selection of Barack posters to purchase.

I've created a web page with all kinds of artwork for Obama posters (and other swag) that I've collected from various places on the net:
http://leler.com/politics/posters/
All of these are free. If you are tired of waiting for posters or yard signs, you can print your own, or send the artwork to a print shop.
If you know of other (free) artwork, please leave a comment here and I'll incorporate it into my page.
In an ongoing effort to secure Democratic hopeful Barack Obama's presidential bid, The 008, Mac, and Upper Playground are working together to distribute offset posters of Mac’s portrait of Obama to be distributed throughout Texas prior to the primary on March 4, 2008. The Mac poster is part of series of artist collaborations in support of Barack Obama’s presidential campaign.

Check out Obey's website as they have some great Obama art that you can use around town, in your office, home, or pinto! Here's the link.
Just a little story from one of MY first experiences in hanging flyers and posters to advertise our community kickoff campaign. I was hitting all the barbershops and salons, daycares, laundromats, schools and the grocery stores that would let me (one put our poster right above their weekly sales flyers!) and I was walking in a pretty rough area. I had learned at a commissioner's meeting the evening prior that the residents had many concerns because the area has a reputation for some crime, a lot of truancy, prostitution and also happens to be a main thoroughfare. I was on my way back to my car, carrying the remaining posters draped over my arm, my purse over the other shoulder, and a older man who was sort of disheveled and missing most of his teeth, pulled his car over toward me and said something that I didn't hear very clearly. I was trying to sort out his words over the noise of the traffic, feeling some excitement that maybe he'd seen my posters and leaning over toward his car to hear him better. Then I looked into his eyes and the grin on his face and realized what he'd said was, "wanna ride?" I quickly straightened myself out, nodded an emphatic "no, thanks!" and hurried toward the safety of my truck. The next wave of thought that hit me was about the meeting the evening before, and the residents discussion about "hookers" hanging out at this particular intersection and on the steps of a church a few doors down. It was then I decided not to wear my leather coat with fur trim any more while hanging posters in the city.
Anyway, there's a point to my story..... We've come to the point in this campaign, where the fantastic staffers and those of us here online have probably exhausted the supply of contributors that can be recruited from online. It's time for ALL OF US to take our efforts out into our communities. I know I'm not the only one getting out there and talking with people, so for those of you who are, blog your stories and experiences of getting out in public, here and on your local pages, so we can spur some forward momentum!
