Dear Mr. President:
Please deliver this message to the people in the country of Iran, Israel, Africa and other countries you deem appropriate. There are victims of war who have lost their family and friends who are in pain. There are no psychiatrist, social workers, or counselors to help them heal from their pain in their country. I just feel that these few words may give a little comfort and help them calm down their anxiety and stress levels.
NOVEMBER 3, 2009
YOU ARE BLESSED – A Message To Iran, Israel, and Others
I am with you for justice, I am with you for freedoms, I am with you for the love of your God, your Allah, and your Jesus and I feel your pain.
I don’t pretend to know how you feel when someone raids your home and injures your family. I can only guess that your loss would cause you to want to strike back. And I don’t blame you. I blame your leaders of yesterday for the pain of today and so should you. The past years of bad leaders have contributed to so many of our family’s heartache, pain and suffering and there is no excuse for that.
I just would caution you to blame those past bad leaders and let your present leaders move you into a new age of health, freedom and justice for you all. I ask you to be patient with your new leaders of today and allow our new leaders to assist you with your new God given life because you are blessed. You were blessed to survive the bad leaders of the past and you should take pride of this blessing to work with your new leaders to promote peace, love, prosperity for living to not let the memory of your love one die but live forever in you.
You have been blessed with your health and strength by your God, by your Allah, by your Jesus. You are Blessed. How do I know? You are alive today and standing right here and now demanding respect. You are blessed by your God, your Allah, and your Jesus and you can testify to your new family of today about the past. You are blessed. Take your blessings seriously and work with your neighbor, work with your new government, work with your new leader in peace. Take your blessings of life and freedom and build up your neighborhood, build up your home and build up your life in peace.
You have withstood the test of time and war and therefore, you are blessed. I too am blessed. I have survived just as you have survived bad leaders of the past. I have survived just as you have survived wars of the past and I have survived just as you have survived discrimination of one’s race, discrimination of one’s beliefs. Yes, we are blessed.
We are blessed because we are alive and have survived. We must take our blessings from God and Allah to the future, to our future. We must take our blessings from God, from Allah, from Jesus and make peace for our future. We must take our blessings from God, from Allah, from Jesus and make our love ones who lost their life proud. Our Blessings from God and from Allah is not given to us without sacrifice or without loss or pain. It was given to us by our Gods for his paradise of peace and love. We are blessed.
We are chosen by Allah and God and Jesus for peace and for his love. I cannot take back what our bad leaders did in the past. I can only try to take my blessings into the future of hope for peace and love. I can only take my blessings to build a home for my family and build a peaceful and loving home for our country. You must take your blessings of life from God and Allah and Jesus to make a happy home and peaceful country for your family and to rebuild your home into the future because you are blessed.
Peace Be Unto You. Sincerely, Esther Mayberry

Dear Mr. Richard Gere,
I acknowledge your kind invitation to join you and millions of voices around the world in the Freedom Campaign for Tibet. I admire the passion, determination and zeal exhibited by the supporters towards the noble cause.
I share your concerns and views regarding the human rights abuse, violation and suppression of democracy in Tibet. Having been a resident of New Delhi, India, I’m all too familiar with the plight of the Tibetan population fleeing their homeland from persecution and unspeakable crime against humanity.

How simple is to make people suffer and die in a world that's very dangerous, the opposite: to communicate and get a peacefull world is the most difficult thing to do.
Thank you president Obama to help us from corruption and war so we can life again, Congratulations
I sometimes believe that if President Obama wiped out all disease, brought peace to our planet, created unlimited energy sources and solved world hunger, I'd see an iReport question asking, "Does Obama Really Care or is he Just Showing Off?"
No matter how much good this man does, no matter how many accolades, he gets slammed by one half of the United States, the half that doesn't just want him to not be President but seems to despise his very existence.
Images accompanying articles about President Obama's Nobel Peace Prize, such as the one of a black peace dove with an olive branch in his mouth (an actual graphic in a Spanish newspaper) are shocking, but also revealing. Loaded questions from "iReport" on CNN asked, "Does Obama Deserve it?" and articles like "Now Obama Needs to Earn It" (and that was written by a supporter) shows just how deeply divided our world is about this man, for reasons of envy and racism.
Doesn't the world understand, President Obama was awarded this prize for to setting the tone for world peace, for TRYING to bring the world together to ultimately then accomplish levels of peace heretofore not known. It is in the act of TRYING that we are measured, not accomplishing. What have you done, lately, ask yourself, to TRY to bring peace to this world?
If the Nobel Peace Prize was only awarded for when people actually brought peace to this planet (as was seriously suggested by one person who said Obama should give the prize back until he's accomplished world peace), no one would ever win such a prize.
We need to encourage every individual who has the tenacity and the vision to stand up and say we won't take it anymore, we won't accept the status quo of hatred and war. President Obama is just such a person and that's why he was awarded this prize. This award is not based on what he might do in the future, it's based on what he has done, set the stage for our world to respect one another, the first prelude to peace. He's tried to bring our world together. And the resistance to that only proves how noble the trying is.
Let's give him a chance now to make the dream of a more peaceful world a reality and let us for a moment, put aside our hate, because by doing so, it is our only chance at peace.

India blessed on the October 2, 1869, with the birth of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, later became ‘The Champion of Peace and the Non-Violence Icon’ for his country and the entire world. The righteous world leader was a saint rather than a politician. Gandhiji, a reference made in reverence, practiced what he preached to the world - a rare trait and indeed a misnomer in the contemporary politics.
Gandhiji’s presence was timely and poignant in the world that was subject to slavery, holocaust, colonizations and fascism all around. With hopelessness and despair at its peak, the frail yet feisty individual emerged to challenge the odds and beat it on his terms and they were –
War is not in the solution to peace and Violence is not the pathway to justice.

Labor Day contemplation of how to be of ultimate service to oneself.....
The I pledge video is going around and around and around....I pledge to be oneself.
Concerning my recent visit to The White House to http://chalkthewhitehouse.com and all things concerning 'Dream Big Dreams' ....
I haven't had health insurance forever....so i've had to learn the secrets of healing thyself. I've had to learn many new perspectives to live in poverty my entire life while living in a land of plenty. I am a workaholic. Yet my labor has no value. My life has been to study, know, and experience the creative life of an artist in pursuit of the ultimate health of oneself.
Peace is the key. Balance. When I saw the unfinished building of the Institute of Peace near the Kennedy Center for the Arts, I knew I wanted to work there...as artist in residence...sharing my perspective and vision on happiness, sharing my masterpeaces of the ultimate health of oneself.
WE have everything. EVERYTHING. What we need is to co-create systems of utopia...integrating the individual unique miraculous creative geniuses WE were all born as into systems that reflect our geniusness.
Today is Labor Day. Being artist in residence at the Institute of Peace is my way of being the ultimate service to the nation. Can anyone grant me that position. Can anyone deny me that position. It is my place in the world. As all that I have ever been and all that I will ever be is reflected in the need of that postion being full filled by being oneself.
I pledge to be oneself....to form relationships in forming a more perfect union..in co-creating and co-designing systems reflecting the ultimate health of oneself. The Key to knowing oneself is Peace. Is Balance. Is the ultimate health of oneself.
As Artist in Residence of the Institute of Peace. I Pledge to BE, DO and have....as oneself.
My "Dream Big Dreams" is that WE all find the perfect manifestation of our true Labor of Love, and each and every act of BEING ONESELF is an act of service to oneself, family, community, state and nation.
p.s. And my ten year old son Makiah wants to remind his friend Barack Obama to "Dream Big Dreams" as he plays basketball with ALL his Dream Team Players with the most passionate happy Labor of Love he knows.
President Obama,
You were elected with the greatest wave of hope that I have seen since the election of President Kennedy...
...and now I feel terribly let down.
You have allowed, yes allowed the radical right to capture the emotions of this nation.
Although your negotiating skills are important; although your intelligence is important; although your organizing abilities are important; the most important ability you have is the ability to inspire.
You have not been using that ability lately at all. You have gotten sucked into the endless chess game of power and politics, and you have neglected your constituency, big time!
I listen to the news and the talk shows with dismay. I have been to a town hall meeting on health care with Lynn Woolsey. The passion and fear of the radical right was prominent, although not in the majority. It is hard to believe that so much credence is given to such outrageous lying. The right wing does not approach this subject, or any other, as far as I can tell, with logic or facts; its approach is on a crazy version of faith. It is like people who twist the bible to support their hate and then say, "The bible says it and I believe it." They forget that the people who hated Jesus were the ones who upheld the letter of the law, but not the spirit; the ones who were judgmental and divisive, not the ones who believed in love and community.
The greatness of the United States was NOT achieved by people acting alone, as much as independence is prized here. It was achieved by people acting together. People harvested their crops together, raised barns together. People helped each other. They were good neighbors. We developed a system of free public education, so all children could be educated, not just those of the rich and powerful.
Respect for the United States in the world was not born of military prowess, but of respect for the generosity, caring and fairness of the American people. It was because, at one time, we took the high road, the road less traveled!
Now we have fallen. We take the low road, talking about the necessity for something we don't call torture, but is. We kill, not to protect people from tyranny, but to protect *our* resources, even if they are located in the countries of others.
I find it so hard to believe, President Obama, that you seem to be cooperating with those who are so short-sighted as to believe that the well-being of the United States rests with military domination.
You talk about health care, but you have given away everything important that you might have done for health care. You talk about health care costs, but you are no different than President Bush in your spending our hard-earned wealth on death, on military adventures and military toys. Do you hope to save on health care and give those savings to the military?
Is it time for me to realize that I have been had? That in handing you this election, the American people have been had? Where is the man I voted for?
Yes we can...what? We can sit by while you allow the military-industrial complex and the insurance vipers to destroy America? I don't usually use that term, America - it applies to pretty much the whole western hemisphere, but I use it now, for the idea of American. The idea of people living together in freedom and peace, in community, caring for the well-being of all - not just our families, not just our town, not just our state, but everyone, everywhere. I thought we were nice people! What happened? Tears come to my eyes as I write these words. What happened?
I could understand the trend under President Bush - but you?
I know you cannot single-handedly do it all. But you have ceased to be a leader, because a leader inspires. A leader calls to the best and highest in us. The majority of Americans responded to that call when they voted for you. They were overjoyed at the opportunity to put their energy into positive endeavors at last.
You are gone, it seems. You have gone over to the fraternity of the rich and powerful.
I am dispirited, left behind, holding the (empty) bag of hope, while the mean-spirited rejoice.
This movie found it's way to me and I haven't even watched but the first 15 minutes of it and it hit me that this would be something that all American's might want to see right now. It's a tribute to the people of New York City and how they "Came Together" after the 9/11 events, using John Lennon's words and music. I can tell it is very uplifting and emotional. It was broadcast live on October 2, 2002. I don't know where I was then but I was asleep and too wrapped up in my own little life garbage problems to know it was happening. I'm wide awake now and I believe, as a nation, we could use a LOT of uplifting RIGHT NOW. It would be a huge reminder of what the people of our great nation did as they came together after 9/11 and we can do it again. Today, it seems that our nation is falling apart and we all need this reminder. I highly recommend to every American that they watch this video as soon as possible. Give it a shot, you might be happily surprised.
Peace, Love and Light,
Nancy Freemanilene@reikifree.com
My generation came of age at a time when Walter Cronkite was the name in American culture, synonymous with credibility and respect. His role in our society transcended his TV news anchor position. His pronouncements on the events of our time were like a slow rolling thunder delivered from an electronic Mount Olympus. When he said ‘and that’s the way it is,’ we believed his every word because his compassion, dignity and respect merited our trust. In his later years, Walter Cronkite became a powerful spokesperson for world peace. I was humbled to share a platform with him at an event sponsored by the Peace Alliance. Please continue to rally support for our legislation to create a cabinet level Department of Peace, HR808, which now has 70 cosponsors in the House of Representatives. Thank you.

by Jean-Pierre Ady Fenyo, a Philosophical Advisor to The President.London, England - June 5, 2009. There should be no doubt about it, the Historic speech made in Cairo, Egypt by President Barack H. Obama and delivered with great confidence to the Islamic Nations and peoples of the World, and to Arab Muslims in particular, had a lot more nuance and purpose in it than one would first sense by only listening to its words! Every breath between every thought uttered by President Obama held in it an air of deep wisdom whose purpose is greater than the sum of the words contained in his speech. The tone and the facial expressions of President Obama were like the invaluable markers used in the Hebrew Alef-Bet to denote specific sounds, vowels and consonants, without which it would be impossible to be even relatively sure what the author meant to write or the speaker really meant to say! Mind you, I will not go into a detailed analysis of what exactly was meant by every gesture, expression, intonation, word, sentence, etc., for that could really take up a lot more time and space than is needed to make my point in this article. Suffice it to say, President Barack H. Obama's speech held in it both great promise and a stern warning, as well as what might be considered a coded sub-message! The great promise was one of almost infinite hope and faith in the principle that has been President Obama's legacy thus far: that almost every Human Being in the world, every child of the Great Spirit of H'SH'M, including the vast majority of Muslims, Jews and Christians, desire exactly the same basic things in this Life, World and from each neighbor and stranger! In effect, that almost all of us really do understand that there is a need, and thus a compelling possibility, for true compromise and tolerance based on the principle that without such we will never see an end to all the senseless extreme fear, irrational hatred, dehumanizing injustice, barbaric brutality, insensible threats and horrific violence that has plagued the world for millennia and might continue to plague us till we either come to our best senses or end up, unfortunately sooner than later, causing a world conflagration and final man-made disaster that will wipe out virtually everyone and every ounce of beautiful art, artistic design and imaginative creation we humans have ever produced! And also included in that great promise was an understanding that H'SH'M (G-D All-Loving) would not want us to murder one another in the name of any system of belief, faith or dogma, and that the true essence of what binds all the major religions and Spiritual Philosophies of the world must be the commonality of the Law of Love of H'SH'M; "Do Unto Others As They Truly Want To Be Done Unto and Do Nothing Unto Anyone That They Do Not Really Want To Have Done Unto Them!" True, President Obama inadvertently used the old and inaccurate version of what he really meant to say (he used the "Do unto others as you would want unto thyself!") as someone who I know cherishes the best of True Free-Masonic Ideals (mind you; not to be confused with the current mish-mash abusing the good name of Freemasonry!), as one who has studied the wisdom and compassion of Saladin (Ṣalāḥ ad-Dīn Yūsuf ibn Ayyūb), a wisdom that gave rise to The Knights Templar and eventually to the Freemasonry that helped bring about such great individuals as His Majesty King Charles The Second (King Charles II of England), Baruch Spinoza and Sir Isaac Newton (forgive me for not mentioning the Islamic and Jewish scholars of Islam's Golden Scientific Age, whom we should trouble ourselves to learn more about) who were very much part of The Rennaisance and The Age of Enlightenment, without which we would probably have gone into extinction by now!
In essence, President Barack H. Obama was actually invoking the memory of the Clash of Civilizations known mostly as The Crusades, which could easily have caused the collapse of all civilization in the World, had it continued and spread its megalomania elsewhere! And therein lies also President Obama's warning! For his predecessor, probably not fully aware of it, had almost served the full interests of those who almost succeeded in igniting another Worldwide Clash of Civilizations that would have caused a permanent and irrevocable divide, leading to all manner of megalomania and violence, between one side and the Islamic World, which numbers over 1.3 to 1.5 Billion people...over one-fifth of the World's total population at present!!! Anyone in their right mind can clearly see what that would have meant! No religion on Earth, no dogma or ideology, Spiritual or otherwise, can manage to dominate the world by force or even by gradual efforts at full conversion! Like it or not, we're going to have to accept that H'SH'M is above traditional religion, and that the True Way to Live by G-D's Golden Law of Love is to be found in our own individual, special, self-realized connection to H'SH'M!We must be steadfast in our resolve to support President Obama and his efforts, through his Administration and as CEO of The United States of America, to bring about the Peaceful World Order he and most people in the World desire, need and should already have had ages ago!
Violence Is A Dead End
Very many listened from many countries too
I watched as again he sculpted history in his Cairo debut
Obama is never surprising but my admiration grows
Learning each time the wisdom of what he knows
Experience is a great teacher but faith is best
No doctrine has every superseded its test
Countries in their pursuit of freedom and rights
Exterminate other countries in brutal fights
Islam and Christianity have similar belief
So why do these religions sustain so much grief
As a young boy in Indonesia where people were predominately Muslim
Didn’t prohibit the Christian few from their worship, didn’t stop him
Even though he was but a boy he fully understood
A people shouldn’t be stopped when their values are good
Do on to others as you would have that they do onto you
Explains the paths of these religions and there are others too
No future lies ahead when religions are identified by cruel trend
Defined by bloodshed, not when Violence Is A Dead End!
“The North appears to have launched a ground-to-ship missile into the East Sea shortly after 9pm Tuesday,” said the unnamed defence official. Pyongyang had already launched two missiles from its east coast earlier on Tuesday, after firing three on Monday.
With tensions on the Korean peninsula high, South Korea said it would join a US-led initiative to intercept ships suspected of carrying weapons of mass destruction, a move that Pyongyang has previously warned it would consider “an act of war”.
They shot them into the ocean over and over. North Korea shoots off six missiles and we stand around saying, “Hey, stop that or we’re going to stop the shipment of solid gold Mercedes that you like so much.” I don’t know what type of diplomacy this is but, you bring that weak game to the playground and you won’t last a day.
By the way, all of the countries have said once before, “This is a provocative act and won’t be tolerated,” the first time they shoot it. After the sixth time they say, “lets just ignore them, maybe they will go away.”
The time for change has come. The equality of men and women and the races, and social and economic justice, are the requisites for world peace. And world peace is inevitable.
A step towards achieving those goals is making quality health care available and affordable to all Americans.
The world's greatest philosphers and thinkers agree and have taught that the resources of this planet are abundant enough to distribute equitably. The old world order institutions were built on monopolizing by and distributing resources to a few wealthy elite and exploiting the underclasses.
Every culture had its ruling class, middle class, and lower class -- which was always made up of exploited indigenous peoples and ethnic groups who were without power and prestige.
Some politicians and their constituents want to maintain the status quo, they are fearful that changing to an equitable distribution system will jepordize their wealthy, priviledged positions. In simple terms, they haven't learned to share.
I am optimistic despite our history, firmly believing that the time has come when people's hearts and minds will change voluntarily, because it is the right thing to do.
It is a very exciting time in America and I am proud to be a part of helping to create the change. I am an Alaskan Native, an Aleut and was born and raised in Anchorage but my mother was from Attu Island. I hope to help raise awareness about Alaska and help show the beauty of our native cultures to the rest of America.
I believe we can bring about real change but it takes becoming involved and staying involved. There is so much that needs to happen to help create the changes and I look forward to being a part of it. Working as an indigenous American side by side with other Americans I look forward to the challenges we will face and overcome together.
