Ok, if anyone of Mr. Presidents people actually reads these things, let him know he will lose my vote and a few more of my family members votes in Nebraska if he bails out the newspaper industry.

Dear Senator Klobuchar,I heard you speak on CSPAN last night regarding the newspapers who want a variance on antitrust laws so they can collude and all charge for their content at the same time. I loved hearing the story about your father's career as a journalist. And I fear that this very romantic idea of the newspaper industry will cloud your judgment. The mainstream media at one time felt obligated to serve the public interest. Let's not forget that that's an old idea. We are way beyond journalists serving the public interest. Media serves their board of directors who want access to powerful people and profits, period. Remember Judith Miller, the New York Times and the Iraq War? How much has this cost Americans in lives, money, wasted resources, wasted time? The costs to us, U.S., have been enormous, and we're still paying for it. Everytime I read the New York Times, I remember that. It's deep within me. I want to love the New York Times, but Judith Miller is in the forefront of my mind everytime I look at it. Because it's cost our country so much, as in the lives of U.S. troops (and innocent Iraqis), less money to educate our kids, no political will to change healthcare, and kept us in an oil economy instead of moving to a 21st century green economy. These newspapers serve special interests. Take the global warming issue, I would say that mainstream media has been largely responsible for keeping the idea that global warming isn't anything to be concerned about alive. These are issues that effect the life of our species, whether we are to survive or go extinct. Very serious, yet, newspapers (and mainstream media as a whole) have not allowed us to have a serious debate that would actually inform the public in a way that allows the political will to develop to make the change we need. We should have moved to a green economy back in the 1980s. February 15, 2009 George Will's column in the Washington Post distorted facts about global warming to say it's not man-made. I mean, is it ever going to end? Not if our government gives them the tools to continue to support this garbage. Garbage into the public will get you more garbage from the public because these kinds of acts keep the public confused and that's not good for making change.Also, it appears that many of their so-called journalists reporting on the financial sector may have been planting stories for the purpose of stock manipulation. And during the Obama campaign, the so-called journalists would ask the dumbest questions because they seem to be more interested in creating conflict (where one didn't exist) than going deep into the issues and facilitating a real discussion of them between the newsmakers and the public. Huffington Post is a good example of how to do this differently. CSPAN also had very good election coverage.When reading these so-called journalists, one has to be very careful to read everything very critically. I wish that when I read an article online, that I could mouse-over the article to get a pop-up window that would also report on the journalist's past articles and their pattern of reporting so that I can clearly see if they've been reporting fairly, or if they've been reporting to support a special interest. For instance, how about CNBC and the stock market? How about Bloomberg and the subprime mortgage meltdown? All these so-called journalists were banging the drum for free markets and deregulation. Now they want to change the laws because they're losing money. Is this fair to the greenshoots like Huffington Post? Is it fair to the public?The issues and the way reports are slanted to serve special interests (and advertisers) is obvious and it's the norm these days. If the newspapers are failing, it's because they haven't managed themselves wisely. It's because they have a bad board of directors and bad leadership. It's because they bought into the idea that markets only go up and they unwisely took on more debt than they can now handle. Yes, it's about survival now, but I say that they have not served the public interest. In fact, they have played a huge role in the destruction of our economy. They are concerned only with profit and to weaken antitrust laws would hurt the public interest.You know what really gets me about all this? The argument that the newspapers are using could also be used for the Employee Free Choice Act. That a single employee doesn't have much leverage, but if all employees can organize, they then have the leverage needed to make the corporations play fair. But if you were to investigate where these newspapers (who are corporate entities) stand on unions, I'm sure they would think it's ok for corporations to organize, but it's not ok for individual people, say working at Walmart to organize. I would guess that if you were to study their reporting on Employee Free Choice Act, you would see a bias for corporations like Walmart and against unions like UAW, etc. It's disgusting. Where has the point of view of labor and unions been in the mainstream media over the last 30 years? Certainly not in the newspapers, unions and labor don't have a seat at the table as is reflected in the bulging bags of cash the CEOs have compared to the stagnated salaries, 50% loss of value of 401Ks, and loss of homes of ordinary Americans. So please, leave your romantic ideas about your father's career at the door when considering the interests of the newspapers versus the public interest. Let the market decide regarding the newspapers. Our government already allows media to organize into huge conglomerates that serve special interests against the public interest, why give them any more power? Let the market decide if they pass or fail. Let the new greenshoots like the Huffington Post have their chance to grow in the market. We can have a bright future if only our government will support and nurture the greenshoots that really do serve the public interest. The public needs a media that we can trust to serve our interest. To support entities whose bad practices have contributed largely to our current economic disaster is not change I can believe in. Please, do not give the likes of Rupert Murdoch and his Fox News Empire any more power. They are killing our country and we need to move on.It's time for change Senator. Rebecca L. Nelson was listed as a murder witness after a shoot-out involving four shooters took place in her parked truck. The charging documents listed her name, and address were given to all of the shooters in the detention center. A 20 year old father of one rolled off the back of her truck with 3 bullets in his head. One shooter was shot in the leg and went to the hospital. A third shooter went to jail given his charging documents with Rebecca listed as a murder witness.
At anytime the shooter could call the fourth shooter and give out Rebecca's information for a drive by shooting. Misdirected anger killed 15 murder witnesses in Baltimore in 2005. The same year the stop snitching video was released. This murder trial was postponed for 18 months.
Rebecca Publishes American Dream Newspaper, since 1999, and did so with her American Indian maiden name, however; the police listed her legal name with no regard to her safety. In all fairness to the Police that was the policy, they were just following their normal operating procedure
She summitted PEACE SIGNS for her photo & for her logo for the election, while working to correct these policies to protect innocent citizens from being put in harms way. Three years later the police & States Attorneys are now NOT releasing witnesses names untill a State's Attorney is assigned these cases, about a month before the trials.
No longer will other citizens have to move and hide for months and years waiting on justice.
In Baltimore the driveby's and numbers of murders have started to decline, finally.
Now, Nelson is addressing the Peace Orders in the State of Maryland that are not worth the papers they are written on. After moving, Nelson closed down an illegal bail bond business in Baltimore and Harford Counties. A handfull of criminals continued to get out after numerous neighbors had called the police. They were arrested, one criminal had 14 charges in one month. Nelson discovered, exposed them and worked to pull the tax numbers of these Bail bondsman, closing down the operation in Baltimore and Harford Counties.
Collectively, neighbors went to the State to file Peace orders. Nelson and her neighbors worked to seek Peace in a military area where we have alot of single and widowed moms, wives and daughters. Several of these Peace Orders were dropped years later when Senator Stone's Son Judge Norman Stone choose to conspire to do so. Judge Stone had no insight as to the danger Nelson was in or maybe he was just playing musical courts to cover or conspire to protect Judge Finifter who did not know how to count to 10. (Nelson has a US Supreme Court case for this one)
Stone put Nelson in harms way, again. For when the criminals left Stones courtroom, after she explained and shared photographs of when she went to serve the Peace Orders it took 5 different Police Officers to find one who knew how to read them, how to serve them, during which time Nelson was hosed, and beaten. The criminals went to the Commissionors the same day and filed lies against Nelson thanks to Judge Stones ineptness; he could of looked up pages of guilty verdicts of this gang and yet he chose to do nothing but dismiss Peace Orders. No wonder his daddy the Senator,(on my Cousin Del Mikie Weirs ticket) wants to clear the dropped Peace Orders!
The Baltimore Sun reported 8000 Peace Orders were dropped, almost half. Most of our sisters are NOT lying and expected the State to care in Baltimore County to no avail in Stones District Court.
Now, that charges are put on the courts web pages while innocent before being found guilty of anything, my clean record, has been marked by their foolishness. And yet, I refuse to let it steal my Peace.
The judges in Baltimore County District Court continue their witch hunt of our sisters of color.
G.Harold Russell, Judge Fletcher, Sally Chester,Judge Bill Evans of the Orphains Court where Nelsons property is registered costing $4600.in fees, a quiet title, a contract to settle good untill a year later, a Specific Performance Case ruled by Judge Levitz that it could not be dismissed, right of certeria for the US Supreme Court for restitution (in Aero Acrea America's 1st planned Community Bi-Laws states 'white only' Nelson has been working to make them 'race nutural): conspired on Oct. 31st (1st day of Gov. O'malleys 'special' General Assembly) to try Nelson on the lies the criminals forged on State documents.
Judge Russell refused to recuse himself, these motion papers 'disapeared'; however, I have the stamped photographs as proof that a motion had to be summited for them to be stamped!
They shackled Nelson detained for 11 days under a nick name, while they tried to cover up their last conspiracy to invade her home of three years. All evidence had been removed and put in safe keeping before they burnt four generations of Nelson's belongings.
Bill Evans went so far as to threaten me after his sorryness claimed to want to help and never entered his appearance and this is how this State murder witness was treated in Balto. Maryland.
I do want to thank Judge Turnbull for dismissing all the lies after I appealed to Circuit Court, and thank Judge Levitz, also, of the Circuit Court, he ruled that the Specific Performance case will go to court, however; Senator Stone was outside the courtroom when I was assured my case would go to fast trac after I waited 10 months for a date to settle on this property. Still waiting to no avail.
Now, how can I, Nelson lose my Peace while recieving an excellent legal education that some attorneys only dream about -- a case to the highest Court in our land -America's Supreme!

Communications is the new frontier. Newspapers are being converted from print to internet. Huge amounts of money are wasted through lack of standardization, redundancy, and difficulty in querying and finding data. We need to standardize not just electronic medical records, to prevent duplicating services and errors, but also utility bills, credit card bills, contracts, court records, prison and jail records, and any communications which are fundamental, frequent, and subject to privacy and security concerns.
Elderly and disabled persons often have difficulty in the area of communications. Changing the format of utility bills causes a problem. Difficult to read credit card bills causes chaos. Incomprehensible contracts are a disaster.
National security is highly dependent on communications - on the battle front, for homeland security, to prevent terrorist attacks, to prevent crime. However the privacy concerns are huge. Intelligence may sometimes compromise privacy. How do we balance these?
Information technology is poorly understood by most Americans. We need increased education in this area.
Mediation, debate, giving and following instructions, about almost anything are necessary skills in society. How can we increase our skills as a nation in this area?
Please give your conerns about what needs to do and why centralizing these concerns in one cabinet level position may be efficient and move us forward quicker or the opposite view.

Apparently, what he meant was "that's the job of your running mate." Watch the YouTube video with Katie Couric.
She defies logic. Katie Couric asks her what newspapers and magazines she's read, and she CANNOT answer the question. "All of them," she said. "Any of them..."
What the heck kind of answer is that? She's never heard of The New York Times, The LA Times, or the Washington Post? Time? Newsweek? US News and World Report?
Has she never picked up a single one of these publications?
But Sarah Palin does know life begins at conception, and wouldn't recommend JAIL for someone who gets an abortion, say, a 15-year-old victim of incestuous rape. And she also knows that homosexuality is a CHOICE.
The sick part of this is that Sarah Palin actually had a choice herself --- to get educated --- and she never bothered. Yet this woman believes she has the right to run our country.
I know I'm not insane. But I'm absolutely certain John McCain is.

How are you doing today? I have entitled this blog entry "Marriage and Divorce, Oregon Style", because for whatever reasons these people have, Oregon laws are written more or less the same as all the rest of the other States, but in practice it is a very different kettle of fish altogether, especially if the Matlands are involved in either doing the ceremonies, or the courthouse for Linn County are doing the divorces.Or yet again, if it is one of the many marriages that the Matlands are actually participating in, when being the new spouse.
So let us look at this a bit closer.There are obviously both men and women at the homeless shelter, and being normal and having the need to be loved or feel wanted, some meet and fall in love.Then they look towards the pastor or the minister to perform the ceremony for however much it is that Matlands charge nowadays.This is supposed to be the happiest day of one's life.By taking money for doing the ceremony,and they most definately do, and the Matlands not being ordained, that alone is fraud.One marriage ceremony whereby the people are charged, can be prosecuted.Think how many have taken place over thirty odd years.
So OK, Matlands will do nearly anything for money.I can understand that.They know that this is fraud, but choose to go ahead anyway.Now I am only referring to people/couples who meet up and fall in love, who either live at the shelter or in the area and think that Matlands really are genuine, and therefore ask them to perform the service.That is fine.Those people are innocent to the crime that they unwittingly get embroiled in.The records of that union are placed in Linn County Courthouse and Oregon Vital Statistics, or when Matlands were in Cave Junction, they were kept in Josephine County Courthouse.
But what when it is one of the Matlands themselves who find a new victim, who usually comes from the homeless shelter and there is perhaps no family that seem to know that that person is perhaps even staying there? Whichever Matland is on the prowl , they chat the unsuspecting person up, letting them see what good church people they are, and impress them with tales of all of the properties that they own, and in general, give them the full spiel, and perhaps that person thinks that they are on to a good little number anyway.But having said that, they still have absolutely no idea of course that this is part of a big scam.So the paperwork is filled out, lodged in the court and the Marriage ceremony goes ahead.Then just weeks or months later, that person is seeing that not everything is as it first appeared.Matlands will work your butt off, open bank accounts, put utilities in your name, steal your mail, and if you have children which came with this new spouse(for want of a better word)put them to work, use and abuse them, and they will do that to the spouse as well.If there is any money to be got from welfare, Food Stamps, or anything that gives Matlands more money, then Gale would be the one to sort that as she is the one who deals with the paperwork because she is a trained forger. She was trained by the best when in California working in a clothing sweat shop.She wanted more money, so they trained her to do the books and the art of forgery.And believe me, she is good at it.What she doesn't know, isn't worth knowing.And you only have to look at what she is doing today, to know how good she is.Right under all of your noses.
So we have the illegal marriage. We have the new spouse sort of getting an idea that not is all as it should be. Nobody perhaps is contacting him/her and they are feeling more and more isolated from past friends and family and 'their mail' and they are not allowed to use the phones.So alarm bells have to surely be ringing in their heads.On top of this there is the violence, plus they have to work their socks off for the Mission, in one capacity or another and therefore have no time to think hardly, let alone cop on that they are just being used for whatever Matlands had plans on using them for.
Then comes the time when they have to leave this situation and find that the Matlands are not wanting that to happen and so do everything to make sure that that person is going nowhere.I have already described some of their tactics whereby they will chase you down like they are a posse, whereby they use their vehicles instead of horses,then God help you if they catch you, then see what happens to you.But that is not the subject of this entry.One man who married Gale had three children. The paperwork went on file, however it was not worth a light.The situation for him became so intolerable that in the end, he had to escape in the middle of the night.But had to leave his children behind with the intention of returning in the daylight to pick them up when he had found a place to take them.Matlands refused to part with his children and things got so serious that he had to go to the police to get a 'Writ of Assistance' to get them back.Now you would think that that was quite straight foreward.The children were only two, three and five years old when this illegal marriage took place.Surely wouldn't the police simply go and knock on Matlands door and pick the children up. It's not as if Gale gave birth to any of them or that Gale had been married to this man for any length of time. But NO! Matlands wanted those three children for their evil purposes.Money being one.To get those children back, the police had to trick the Matlands and when they were out of the way on the street, other police went in and grabbed them back.Had Matlands have not had to part with them, according to Gale, they would have been counted as orphans and were worth far more to them.But doesn't it make one wonder if perhaps there was not a more sinister plan and were they perhaps going to sell them on like a lot of other children were in Oregon, which of course you can read about on the 'Voice for 'Children Website, listed on my Links section.And be sure to see the names of who is featured on the Hall of Shame, pages and read the Supreme Court Hearings and listen to the video recordings and read "The Truth is on Trial" pages and then if you live in Oregon and are reading this, you will see so many of the people whom Oregonians are supposed to look up to.They are the very same people that are running your State offices and courts and SCF and in the Children's Ombudsman's office.
So I am going to close this part of the blog and return with some more food for thought following the divorces that took place with Matlands as Petitioner.
I will keep this short and sweet today.This is more or less just to ponder upon.The weather being cold does turn ones mind to heat, then fire, and it doesn't take much of a guess to know that I would be leading up to my point about how strange it is for one family to be around so many fires.
Let us talk about the latest that I know of, and that was at 705 Lyon Street, the homeless person's shelter owned by The Signs of Victory Mission.This was started by a non-incendary device, around 5 am in the morning. There were families there at the time and with children.This was in January 2003. A pile of cardboard mysteriously caught fire , which the mission had been planning on selling.The shelter had eight smoke detectors.Better still, all of them worked, according to fire officials.This fire caused $25,000 in damage.That's a handy bit of insurance to come back.
Everybody got out safely because the fire started up the east side of the building.Well, I'd have to say "Thank God for that".So that was very convenient that this fire did not start anywhere where there were people around.I wonder how much insurance would have come back then? There were people on each floor including the basement. I wonder if the windows were nailed down that day. I bet they weren't, but they bloody well used to be.Maxine said that it was to stop people breaking in to the building.Is she mad or what! Who the hell in their right mind would break in to a run down hell hole like that? Nobody would, but going back not to long ago, the nails were definately in the windows and that was to stop the Veterans (who stayed in that area) from leaving. And please do not think that they just had to climb the stairs up to the hallway, because that door had a hook and eye shutting it at night.But Maxine said that that was so these men could not get up into the main area of the house.UTTER TRIPE!!!!
These people were not intended to be going anywhere.And that can be proved, like the rest of what I have written.The veterans were worth money to the Matlands and visitors were definately not encouraged,so I find it very strange that on the day of this fire, there were fresh batteries in each of the smoke detectors and this door to the basement was not locked, on top of which this pile of cardbord was able to set itself on fire and was in a position so that nobody got hurt. Now apart from the lady that heard one of the smoke alarms and woke the other people, guess who was first on the scene, to make sure that this fire got put out? Come on now, it's not a hard guess.You've got it. Dear old George Raymond Matland Jnr. himself, bless him.He had it put out before the firefighters arrived.He said "I almost had it out".Now being that it was cardboard that started this fire,by setting alight to itself, and George living in his mother's house in Seventh Ave., who I wonder was phoned for first??? Was it George? did he still have his clothes on at 5 am in the morning? or was it the firebrigade, who are only one block away and used to rushing to fires??? George got there first and put the fire out and then the fire brigade turned up.Isn't this just the biggest load of crap that you just read? Do they all think everyone is stupid? Nobody on that day or during the fiasco of an investigation, had a clue as to who set fire to the Mission (so they say).How then was a story printed a few months later when Matlands were looking for more money, did George tell the reporter that the mission was set fire to by a drunk that got banned from the mission? Excuse me, the main drunks at that mission are the Matlands themselves and how did they come up with that person when on the day of the fire, nobody had a clue as to who started it.It must have been psychic intervention. And once they came up with this man, was he arrested? Not bloody likely.
The next fire was 532 Baker Street,That was March 1996. One fire set in one place which did not do enough damage, so another was set. And who came home not 5 minutes later from being out, George Matland, and the one subject that was not discussed, was the fire at 532 Baker Street. I don't know about you, but if my house burnt down, I would most certainly be discussing it. And Matlands told everybody that it was one of the people who had been staying at the Mission. Well, should I be surprised? He was not even in Albany that time and Matlands were pissed off at him because he had gone off to be at another church.You see they always blame someone at the mission for everything, because they move around a good bit.
Then take the fire again like the first two, started by a non incendary device, but this time at 200 Pacific Blvd., where Matlands had their pallets.Rolled up newspapers were stuffed into the pallets.This was clever. That paper also caught fire and of course, up went the pallets.And who walked in to the house not minutes earlier, puffing and blowing, George Matland.This is a very nifty runner.Did he get done for that fire? No he did not.
Fire number four that happened was on a neighbour of theirs cabin in Cave Junction.They fell out, so his cabin got burnt down.Did George get done for that? No he did not.
Now there is a fifth fire, started again by a non incendary device, and was fairly recent, and in a building that Matlands had occupied.But I won't put that one here, for reasons best kept to myself at this time.
But all I am pointing out is, this is to much of a coincidence surely to be real. And why did the fire brigade officer at the time when I called regarding all these fires, chat for ages, and passed it on to the Batallion Chief who was investigating the Lyon Street fire and unfortunately, it didn't go any further because he happened to be retiring. What a coincidence all this is, don't you think? He didn't even bother to phone me back. Talk to you soon.

I do hope that you had a great weekend. And I certainly hope that your weather is better than it is here.It has been so overcast today and pouring with rain, and then came the gales.Very depressing but then haven't we really got a lot to be so grateful for?
Let us think for a while about this crazy, evil family that I am telling you about.My daughter was still living with George Matland Jnr., this was in January 1998. George gave Andrea the poison to take, when she thought that she was going to be taking Tylanol.He deliberately made her have her dose from the bottle that he kept in his own private cupboard.He gave it to her himself on a spoon.And because it tasted so awful, she swallowed it to get it out of her mouth, thinking that it tasted so bad because perhaps it had gone off. As I have said in another blog, it reacted on her immediately. So suddenly that George got a fright and went to get her milk.He certainly did not get her a doctor or Police I hasten to add, but then he wouldn't would he?But I won't go over all that again, as I already wrote about that.
Two weeks later was the incident whereby the Matlands were doing what they do best. DRINKING THEMSELVES INTO OBLIVION.It was late into the night, the Soup Kitchen was well over and some of the people stayed back for a drinking session and my middle grandson was still working.This was the night that he got attacked by George Jnr., for dareing to go upstairs to be with his mom who was looking after baby George.He shouldn't have left work you see, but he was only a little tot and wanted a rest.George followed and Maxine followed both of them. And George saw him resting, verbally abused him, and attacked him by kicking the chair that he was sitting on, from under him and grabbing his head as he fell and bashed it into the wall.And I have already written about that and how she and this child had to escape. The baby had been picked up by George Jnr. and whatever George told the Police when he took them on one side, they believed him and told him to take the baby for the night and go and stay at his mothers so that things could calm down. But as luck would have it, a kind neighbour realised what was happening and came to the rescue, telling them that he had seen this all before and that she had to get out there and then, whilst she still could. She thought that she would be able to pick the baby up next morning.
In Oregon there is a law that says that if one parent is the abuser, then that child automatically goes to the parent who is the non-abuser.Now that would seem sensible as long as you don't live in Albany, Oregon, or that your name is not Matland, because there is a whole set of different rules where that family is concerned.It's called NO RULES! And Jason Carlile, District attorney and the Police and SCF, all bow and scrape to keep this all a secret.Nobody is going to upset the Matlands.But let me move on a bit.
I already said about how George Jnr. had the cheek to get a Restraining Order against Andrea, accusing her of being the one who was doing the attacking, and as George is so well versed in the court,(after ten wives, you would be) knew that his would come through quicker than hers because Benton County take 24 hours. Whereas George got his imediately, thus allowing him to have temporary custody of the baby.However she had to get different stuff sorted and a bit down the line she had to talk to Children's Services in Albany.She was trying to get an apartment in Albany, but because of the Restraining Order could not go near the Matlands property. Plus months went past before she could even get to visit little George. She could not find an attorney who would take her case.Matlands had used just about every attorney and not paid most of them. They kept saying that it was a conflict of interest and so here she was, no attorney, she had left Matlands pennyless,and although she had got some sort of welfare help, it only tides one over. Plus she had kept her son at the same school as he was happy there and she didn't want to cause him any more upset than possible so travelled between Corvallis and Albany each day.
Anyway, this particular day, whilst still at the shelter for battered wives, she went to SCF in Albany.She saw a woman by the name of Rose Infonte.This woman was as bigger bitch as it was possible to be, who had some hangup about Andrea's nationality.She was asking Andrea how she was going to get an apartment with hardly any money, and was questioning her like it was an interrogation.She was under terrible stress from all that Matlands had done to her and the children,and no proper home at that time, and the bus service was not the best and consequently they were leaving home very early each morning so as to get to the school on time in Albany, so she was very warn down and emotionally at rock bottom.But was trying to keep things together.This bitch got her into such a state , on top of which when she asked Andrea how much she was going to look for an apartment for, and Andrea told her $350 per month, she retorted, "You'll only get a skanky apartment for that and you will never get your child back".She was yelling at her.What sort of person "I can't call her an animal as that is an insult to animals" carries on like that, like a complete lunatic, to somebody who is so stressed out to start with? How the hell did this "THING" get a job in the first place?She was going on about her Green Card and asked where hers was, and yet Andrea is totally legal.So what is this "THING'S problem? And how did she ever get a job working with human beings?
When Andrea got back to the shelter in Corvallis, she was so ill that evening that she was rushed off to hospital with a suspected heart attack. When I phoned that night, the women working there were so worried because I was so far away, that they didn't tell me how bad she was, but then when I called the following day I learnt what had happened.Well, needless to say I phoned SCF. talked to this bitch, talked to one higher and tried to get hold of the man, who at that time was over Linn and Benton County called Pat Melius. I even called him on the emergency number. I was totally ignored. Now Diane Aspengren is the one who is the head one now, and between her and Peggy Davis, covered up what was going on at the mission. I have photos of little George whereby sidefaced you can see where he was punched so hard in the mouth, that the split is deep. I have photos where he had burns, and bruises, was filthy, clothes sticky with dirt. He was full of fleas. Matlands did everything possible (once the court gave her "Supervised Visitation", as if she was the guilty party) to prevent any visitation on Andrea's part. They used a house that Gale and her child sex abuser of a boyfriend squatted in, for Visitation, and Maxine and George hid upstairs in it and men from the Mission hovered around the house to intimidate her and her son.George Jnr. did things like hanging a notice outside saying "Gone Fishing" and did other things all so she couldn't see her baby.He pulled every trick in the book to screw up visits.They even brainwashed the child by telling him that Gale was his mother and that Andrea was not.But I do believe that that also was for purposes of fraud.
A couple of women who were staying at the Mission were in the Soup Kitchen at Matlands one day when they saw baby George on the floor with his dinner. But he was not eating it, so George Jnr., got him by the arm, put his foot under him and carried him hanging like that.These women, who had never met Andrea as this was a good while later, were so shocked at how he treated baby George that they went to SCF and reported what they had seen, to Diane Aspengren. All that woman said was, "Go tell his mother" and did nothing.
A good while later Andrea heard from a neighbour that her divorce was in the newspaper.Her letter from the court was conveniently stolen from her mailbox telling her of the date and time. And who do we know that is into stealing people's mail? George Matland and he would know when it came because he would have had a copy himself.So she never got to go to her divorce, but then she was never really married to George in the first place, because his mother Maxine did the service.Like she did with several of his other wives. And George had done the service on Maxine when she was getting married to another spouse. And George or Maxine would do the service for Gale, when she was getting married.Mind you she also had her fair share of spouses also. Now what, one wonders is so special about getting married illegaly in Albany and why would Linn County Courthouse go ahead with these divorces knowing that they were illegal? On top of which, why would Oregon Vital Statistics knowingly not only leave these records on file, but allow the Matlands to carry on doing these marriages. But here is the worst bit, and even I cannot understand why Gale and George would go along with this.How could Gale let her own children marry lads that they really seem to love,and have a full and proper reception and beautiful dresses, and the whole bit, KNOWING THAT THEY ARE NOT WORTH THE PAPER THAT THEY ARE WRITTEN ON? Now that actually was heartbreaking to hear,and these marriages took place in 2006, and I don't even know the girls to talk to or if they have been told.I know that the courthouse knows because I told them, but I doubt that Matlands will get prosecuted for those marriages either.But I can tell you something. Nobody goes through the cost of marrying and divorcing, knowing the marriages to be illegal, without there being a seriously lucrative scam involved.And Matlands have been doing these marriages on each other and people who pay them who think that they are really getting married, for 30 years.George did the ceremonies on the girls last year .And he is a minister of nothing. More tomorrow.
