Dear brother, we're invited!
A few months back you went home to God after not receiving adequate healthcare coverage for years. During your brief time with us you touched the hearts of family, friends, professors, and community members alike. I thought that no longer in this Earthly life would I again share laughter and tears with you that only a loved one can, the trust that only a best friend can, and the memories - old and new alike - that only a brother can.
But then I came across our last picture together. Standing against a bright backdrop of the colorful mall lights under a clear night sky, smiling and teaming up as only we could for that photograph -- for that timeless Heavenly moment -- who knew we'd be standing there together to give me an image of hope for the rest of my life?
I think you knew. Because you were so sincere in that moment. I can see it in your eyes now, I felt it in your presence then, and I hear it from our shared history -- and into our future as it unfolds with every new tick of the clock. (You jerk, you should've told me that you were done posing for pictures ;)!)
You always had a clever of doing big things. But this time you've really outdone yourself! You have allowed us to fulfill our childhood dream: of working as a team on something worthy, something noble, something divinely humanitarian; a dream of making a real difference.
Thanks for being my partner then, now, and always. I can almost hear you walking next to me as I campaign - one step at a time. Growing up, I always imagined we'd actually be able to chest-bump or high-five to celebrate each little victory. But if God has had a higher calling for you all along -- to make you part of my guiding light itself -- well, then I just have to wipe my tears away, smile, and march forward with your silent determination! Under the shadow of our captain: God himself :).

This is from my father and me:
I have aortic stenosis, my father had a brain tumor. This is our story as quick as possible. Zack Edwards - I was born with aortic stenosis, I had open heart surgery with a technique from Europe and had to have it removed after only 7 years. When I went in to an appointment 7 years after that operation the doctor said that he would need to remove it and replace it with another valve. We scheduled the appointment for two weeks. The surgery cost over $100,000 and I paid less than $2000. I was very happy with my insurance. I have asked friends in England and Canada, about their healthcare and asked them a question that worries me very much. If I get to a certain age will I be able to get these surgeries as readily as possible. They all have said "no." They talk of lists and waiting periods and how sometimes you have to get second and third opinions to get on those lists. Is this what will happen to us in the United States, especially since I hear we are modeling our health care after their "failed" programs. My dad had a brain tumor three months ago and when the doctor saw him with this left side complete paralyzed. The doctor told his nurse to get him a bed and told my dad, that if they didn't get him into surgery the wheel chair he was in would be a permanent fixture. The tumor was the same as Ted Kennedy's and the doctor he used was on Ted Kennedy's substitute doctor list, one that is contacted if the other doctors are unavailable. My dad waited two days and was operated on. The doctor who had just operated on a surgeon from a country with Universal Healthcare the day before. The doctor had to wait and so paid a friend in the United States to do his operation. My father's doctor said that if he was in any other country he would have had to wait, even in this type of emergency. Wait for what approval. He is over 60 years old and could not wait a few days or risks permanent paralysis. Also with the shortage of doctors, inserting universal healthcare and lowering their wages will decrease the doctors we already have. Please President Obama, if you hear our voices do not make our healthcare universal or as some say socialized medicine. I beg you and so does my dad, who is now back up and walking, soon to be commercial fishing again in a few months.

People around the world said "Yes we can" on Tuesday, November 4, 2008. Yet, the work has only begun. While I am really delighted that Barack Obama is the President-Elect of the United States, I see my journey towards change in a more personal way. It is about who I help.
As with any leader, if the people do what the leader does change will come about. Otherwise, it was just hype. What President-Elect Obama has done so far is serve. And he's also opened himself up for major criticism. But at least he has done something and is willing, despite the criticism, to do more.
How many of us ordinary folk have gone to neighborhoods unlike our own to talk to people about the things they can do to make change? How many of us ordinary folk have the courage to put ourselves on the front lines in order to inspire others?
Barack and Michelle Obama have taken on a great task. They are the face of the service and of course they will get the most criticism. But what does it mean for me? It means volunteering in my community. It means being active in changing the things that negatively affect people who are not like me. It is a great undertaking and I am scared to death. But doing something is better than doing nothing. That is what Barack Obama has inspired me to do. Something.
While I may not change the entire world (who can?) I can change the part of the world that I live in. And that is what November 4, 2008 meant to me.

I don't know who will come across this blog, or if anyone will for that matter...but I feel a need to share some words about how this campaign's message, Barack Obama's message, gives me hope, how it has made a difference for me, a difference in my life, and why I have decided to vote for the change I need.
I had my first heart surgery when I was 15 years old. I am 26 now and have had half a dozen more since then, and getting and KEEPING health insurance since then has been a struggle. My single mother was wonderful, and did what she could to love me and pay for the care I needed, but with what the cost of premiums were and the affect that a preexisting condition had on those premiums, I eventually had to drop insurance coverage just to be able to afford the other necessities of life (food, rent, etc.).
I have worked two full-time jobs for the last three years to pay for these medical bills. I am sitting on the edge of the seat of bankruptcy and have had to put off continuing my education because of this debt. It's an endless cycle. I'll need health care for the rest of my life, even another surgery in 1.5 years...and getting an education to atleast put myself in a better situation, financially, seems out of reach.
I struggle to see through the tears as I'm writing this... The burden is heavy and I haven't had any hope for relief until I heard Barack Obama's plan of change for health care coverage, as well as the promise of tax relief for the middle class. I can barely stay afloat, emotionally and physically, and have to maintain a 70 hour work week just to make sure I can pay my rent and keep the lights on.
I voted for the first time in my life last week. I feel like a candidate for President is finally fighting for me. I even drove 16 hours to a campaign rally, and even though I wasn't able to get in due to the amount of people, driving out was a huge statement to my circle of friends and family since I've never been passionate about politics, or passionate about much in the last several years.
I know the days have been long and the road rocky, but thank you, Barack, for the difference you've made. Thank you for the chance at hope that I haven't had in a very long time. Remember us, the little people with big hearts, who believe the most in you.

I would like to say I found out where the Osama Obama comments have been coming from and we need a change.
This country is at the moment where they have ideology oth the real picture of race and ratings. We can't afford to be thinking with the big bucks any more. The Party Holder: "Republicans" want you to be imbroglio on the incognito messages that makes this election impresario on race. They're race baiting you on race and religion. The Republican brand name used a commerical ad called: "The One." John McCain's camped used this movement of change and compared it to Moses to attack the celebrity hood of Barack Obama.
America Yes We Can:
We can change dirty politics, race baiting, and sacrilegious ads were it can be a sacramental concern on baiting voters away from what concerns them. I now because McCain got me too! Yet, I woke up because this campaign is to important to be about the same old fear baiting politics.
I am concerned:
That we are not talking about what can benefit the country any more. We are blinded by the addiction to profits, and capitalism. In 2004 as a replica of the eradication on John Kerry the slandering Republican party, baited Kerry into a mid-summer fight over being a war hero and dirty politics. They said: "We are having Fun with politics and lets move on."
I'm concerned about how low can they go! This country is divided and when placed to the breaking point cynical ideology becomes racial satire.
I am: "The One," You are: "The One:"
To change the way this country will go in 2009 because we can't afford to be stubborn: when Pakistan, India, and China have a expired deadline on an energy treaty that will come to an end in 2010. They plan on using non-clean coal or renewable resources to create energy. That's a huge concern this country needs to address and face: "Right Know" -- and America can't be stuck in a 10 billion dollar war on oil; while the planet is imperial. The energy concerns in this country shouldn't be on oil and drilling: While the western world says; "Your greed will allow us to succeed." If they go with carbon releasing fossil fuels, and America continues with this addiction on oil. This planet will get hooter: it will be so hot that the polar caps will melt. The water levels will rise, and carbon soaking mammals will die. We will have terrible tornadoes, terrible hurricanes, terrible storms because of that infernal heat.
I am: "The One;" You're the One:
To change the way we treat this planet because it's important. We did this to our planet, we have been a rebel on how we used profits and greeed to consume destruction on the nature of this planet. America Yes We Can: stop the cries of race card playing, with race baiting tactics -- and move-on attitude. John McCain played this card when he attacked Obama on the military and not visting them back fired. John McCain played this card when: He need press.
Obama was duped by the main stream media, and print media -- which was for more rating and coverage that drove up their ratings, and used the celebrity hood as a status to attack him. He will get one ad for him while 25 other ads and small blogs will be made to attack him. So Obama is supplyin that pring and main stream media with the oil to burn him. Obama they're only about ratings and degrading. They will consume Obama for dirty hard copy stories and mud slung comments that will draw attention to their media station because they need ratings. Washington Post is Republican owned: They're behind the Osama Obama comments. To Obama and true supporters "Beware" of the cabinet you stock because they aren't apart of how this campaign got here. They didn't care about us then, and why should they care about us now. The Washington Post is about ratings and beating the online bloggers. The truth is they get paid to start mud slung fights and nasty comments, while we support Obama for free. So in my mind we can change the way we cover politics as well. To stop the up rising and then tearing down people in the name of ratings.
When Senator O'Bama started the Debates with Clinton I didn't know anything about him, but I listened to what he had to say. After that Senator O'Bama came to Penn State University to speak. There was a large crowd of people there. I liked what he had to say. I kept watching him as he gave speeches on television and that was when I wholeheartedly supported him for President. As I kept watching him he came across as if he was President already. This happened to me several times. This past Tuesday I kept watching CNN and was cheering each time when O'Bama's total delegates count kept getting closer and closer to the 2018 mark that he needed to clinch the nomination. I listened to the speeches that Senator McCain and Clinton gave and I couldn't help but be angry at what McCain had to say. He twisted O'Bama's words around and lied several times. I was surprised at Clinton's speech. Then O'Bama and his wife entered the auditorium at St. Paul, Minnesota. Those moments were very special. He really has a heart and a will to bring CHANGE to the many issues in our country that have gone in the reverse direction. One thing I like about O'Bama is that he is asking the people of our country to make the changes that we need. I am sending e-mail messages but I would like to do more. I believe that he knows Jesus as his Savior because it shows on his face and he has a heart to help people in need. Looking at him give those big smiles makes me feel good. This is our time to do as much as we can to see that O'Bama reaches the office of President. We haven't seen a candidate for a number of years that wants to do so much good and who doesn't come across as being much better than other people. He relates to all of us, no matter if we are doing well, getting by or not having important things that they need for their daily lives. To wanting to bring our soldiers home, to better healthcare, defending Israel, and so much more, we should do our part, as we are beginning to do, in appreciation to what he is and wants to do for us. Our country has come a long way since 1968, when Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. had the march in Washington, D.C. President Lincoln started out as a lawyer in Springfield, Illinois and from there he became our 16th President. He was known and loved by many people, just as O'Bama is known and loved by many today. When Franklin D. Roosevelt became President our country faced the Great Depression, and then Germany was controlling countries in Europe, and then came World War II. Roosevelt and our people went through these very troubled times, just as we are now, and the Depression ended and the United States won the war. If they could do that then, and come through with victory, SO CAN WE. I'm reminded of a chapter in the Bible where Joshua told the children of Israel to walk around the walls of Jericho and not make a sound. They were to do this 7 times. When they marched around the walls for the final time Joshua told the Isrealites to shout, and when they did, the walls of Jericho fell. If we help Senator O'Bama, as he has asked us to do, soon we can shout VICTORY, and the problems we are facing today will have to fall so that the NEW can take it's place. LET US ALL DO WHAT WE CAN SO WE CAN SEE OUR WALLS FALL.

THE KINGDOM OF GOD - Trumping The Devil
May GOD open all of ours eyes to THE KINGDOM OF GOD today, So let it be, AMEN
Today I want to focus on the two different Hearts. This will not be long like most of my blogs but it should be very informative.
What I will do is give you a basic principle of faith that allows the Kingdom of GOD to be seen in your life. The first thing we must focus on is what a person is without The Kingdom of GOD in their life.
As we all know that without GOD in our lives we are betrayers of his ways or we have never received the truth. There is a line we must draw between hearing the word and denying it and falsely receiving it. I would place the false ones in the category of "Lip Servers" category and the other's in "Judas" category.
Lip Servers: Luke 17:20 "And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:"
Betrayers: John 13:2 "And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him;"
Then we have those that have never heard THE TRUTH so we must share the following with them. We can go to the very next verse in Luke to see this.
Luke 17:21 "Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you."
Notice that Jesus said in his own words that the Kingdom of GOD is within us. This my friends is His Words and not mine. These are THE WORDS we must live by.
We can either have the evil betrayal heart, the denial heart, or we can have THE HEART OF GOD which is "A GOOD HEART". That is our choice and everyone of us have that choice. I choose to have "GOOD HEART".
Thought it may seem that I get a little off the rocker at times I really do mean the things I say from my heart. All my life I was fed a line of "malarkey" concerning what GOD was, is, and will be. I was never told these simple truths that would have set me free from sin years ago. I fought that bad fight but today I fight the good fight for the good of the people in GOD'S physical Kingdom on Earth. This is my duty as a servant of GOD.
Any person that is being despitefully used who is a True Believer does not have to worry, GOD will reveal his truth's to that person if you will only believe. Be patient and The Kingdom of GOD will come unto that person by your GOOD WORKS and they will Glorify Our Father in Heaven.

It the Divine and idealistic sense, as we are all Children of the One, you are correct in the sense of equality of purpose, that the distinction of the dualities of this plane of existence melt away like the winter snow is doing now. So neither friend nor enemy will be, on the absolute higher planes.
But we're not there yet. We are on the plane of duality: hot/cold, light/dark, right/wrong and so on. Further, a bigger duality we're trying to overcome is representative government/autocratic tyranny. When too few people hold too much power, it makes them "enemies" of the greater good. As much as we err on the side of self vs the self/community duality we diminish the value of the whole in the excessive expense of our own sense gratification. Thus it is with the big duality between the Clinton's and Obama, for the Clinton's it's all about THEM, with Obama it's all about US!
Thus we must render unto God the things that are of God, and unless you want the tyranny of a Clintonian Caesar-like regime, potentially as oppressive as was Rome in the Holy Land, don't be giving so much in Caesar's direction.
There is no fault in righteous indignation, after all Jesus Himself cast the money changers out of the Temple, proclaiming they'd made it a den of thieves. Thus were the Clinton's in the '90's with bought sleep overs in the Lincoln bedroom as well as all sorts of other sins.
Forgive, absolutely, forget, never. That's why this country will not stand for Clinton's Act II. It was bad enough the first time around, we don't need it again!!!

Let me share a little story, one of inspiration. I had a song of John Lennon on my music player and some person decided to email me and remind me of his bad days as if I was wrong for listening to the music of one of the greatest of all time. My response was, "you do not know the heart of John Lennon the day he left his earth".
Here is my conclusion that should help you my friend.
Jesus The Christ came in the flesh to establish the Kingdom of GOD On Earth in the physical form. When he did this he said "If I come to you and cast out devils by the spirit of GOD then THE KINGDOM OF GOD has come unto you". That Kingdom reigns within each believer. That Kingdom Forgives and forgets within each Believer. That Kingdom Loves It's Enemies within each Believer. That Kingdom Jesus said, Lo, Behold, The Kingdom of GOD is within you".
My friend, The Kingdom of GOD has just come unto you. Accept it and not reject it and all things will be added unto you just as Jesus The Christ hath said.

I pray that if you struggle day by day you refer back to this for some inspiration in your life. If you are reading blogs that are putting you under some kind of stress or watching some preacher on TV or even listening to one on the radio I would suggest you do not even hear their words. Open up THE BIBLE for yourself and let GOD reveal himself to you.
Years ago I realized that games of violence, scary movies, soap opera's, and many other things were trash to my mind and I would not pay any attention to them. I think the last so called "scary movie" I have seen might have been "Friday 13" back in the early 80's. I might have seen a clip or 2 of one but to watch one is not in my spirit. Today we have an issue with pornographic video for television, cd players, and the internet at an all time high. Years ago a man named Joseph Greene who was a civilized officer of the law tried to stop all of this from taking over this country. This country would not let him. They stopped his work therefore this country failed GOD. It has penetrated every home that has a TV or an internet connection wether you believe it or not. Just turn on the TV and look at the advertisements.
We do not have to allow advertisement like this on TV. As a matter of fact that stuff needs to be kept between a man and a woman. If them companies do not like being told they can not advertise that kind of stuff in this country they can leave this country.
We can clean up this country and make the infrastructure the society of TRUE BELIEVER's but we must do it by Word and not Violence. It is best these people listen to the word out of our mouth's than to hear THE WORD of THE LORD when he starts ripping tares up out of here by THE WORD OF HIS MOUTH. I would pray that we all start teaching THE WORDS OF CHRIST today because it is obvious them other messages being taught are not working.
If we claim to be a Judeo-Christian Country then let's act like one. In Judeo Christianity every person is loved regardless of there race, color, or creed and even the enemy.
The is no difference between Jew or Greek,For we must all understand,There is ONE GOD that we all seek.

So there I am at Radio Shack buying an audio dubbing cable for these telephone interviews I'm doing with Obama supporters, and the guy helping me wants to know why I'm recording phone conversations with lots and lots of people. I tell him I'm interviewing people about why they think Barack Obama should be President, and the next thing I know I'm having a real political discussion with the two guys who work there. They're definitely NOT gonna vote for McCain because they've had enough of Bush and McCain is more of the same.
They're not crazy about Billary and they have to admit that every time they see Obama they are knocked off their socks...BUT...they think Obama supporters have been BRAINWASHED.
So, I said, "Hey Dudes...I went to college and I went to grad school and I've got a head of gray hair! Me, brainwashed? Get serious."
Well, one of the guys kinda hangs his head in acknowledgement that I might not be an idiot, and then he says that Hitler was the most brilliant speaker of all time...
OK...I know the difference between an orator like Hitler and a speaker like Obama, and he does, too. He does not want to vote with his heart. He is afraid of voting his heart. The other guy will probably vote Obama because his wife is on his case.
Obviously, I don't seriously think Obama supporters have been brainwashed...and I've been thinking about what I'll say the next time this dichotomy comes up in conversation, because I'm pretty sure it will. Some people really resonate with Obama's personality, his platform, his vision, his speeches, and others are actually afraid of a man who is such a powerful motivator of people. They told me that they read on the internet just today that someone is calling Obama the "anti-christ."
I think this is something to pay attention to and to learn from...what is powerful and moving to one person can be threatening to another, even people who are in agreement with you on many core issues.
It's the old HEAD VS. HEART...if you've got alot of heart, you must not have alot of head...
So I'm asking all of you if you have seen what I've seen: fear of being motivated by feelings, the very feelings that Obama is stirring up in people like you and me.
