One of the hardest struggles in my life was to face the realization that with the current laws in place, as a convicted felon I am blacklisted for the remainder of my existence. It was a devastating result of my selfish desires to fulfill a life of crime during my teenage years. There is no justification that I can offer to suppress my actions. I was only thinking about myself leading me to follow a deceived heart, a closed mind, and selfish ambitions.
Now a days, trying to become a productive citizen has its hurdles. The mere opportunity to vote is a major accomplishment that I have been fervently working towards. Job opportunities are scarce, even more when up against a citizen without a criminal record. Apartments turn my family down due to being a 'high-risk' resident. Luckily because my felonies are not drug related charges, I have the ability to go to college. Unfortunately, millions of Americans are refused acceptance to college due to felony drug convictions; so for this I am grateful.
Today I live a life of integrity in everything I do. Whether or not being transparent is required, I make it an obligation of right living to pursue integrity in my every service to those around me. Ive invited respectful and honorable friends to hold me accountable and encourage me to go beyond doing right but to meet the needs of those around me. I have guided my wife and my daughter to pursue the needs of others out of selfless service and in doing so have yielded a life of joy and blessing.
I am working with a group of dedicated people to bring freedom to captives, reform to reprobate minds, and hope to the hopeless. We are organizing a ministry whose purpose goes beyond just meeting the needs of people but to help all facets of their life. Our hope is to provide a foundation that can be passed on from generation to generation.

As a retired vocational art educator from the V.I. Dept. of Education, St. Croix, I am still trying to have an impact on the vocational curriculum.
The message, I would like to leave is most of the petty and the felony crimes that are committed in our society can be prevented. Today’s educational system is out dated and under funded. We graduate thousands every year and the thousands of dropouts, are sent out into our communities with a certificate / diploma. Some barely able to fill out an application for a job . It leaves and puts a lot of them in a survival mode. Malchom X said, by any means necessary. The youth refer to the crimes committed in the community as, “Street Tax”. All are not college material. To send our children out into society without a viable trade or a marketable skill, we are breeding generations of beggars, criminals, thieves and welfare recipients. No child should leave school without a trade. Those college students with a trade could easily supplement their education without going into deep student loan debt.
The Arts can be the educational catalyst to Change!

Popularsovranty.com aggressively confronts challenges to the rights and liberties of the people and to the guarantees of the U.S. Constitution, being dedicated to their preservation and the guarantees of the Bill of Rights. Also challenged and charged are the men who were contentiously entrusted with the power and prerogatives of the offices of President and Vice President of the United States, George W. Bush and Richard B. Cheney, who, in collusion and contrary to their oaths to uphold and defend that Constitution, side-stepped it and diluted it by authorizing torture, kidnapping, political corruption of Justice, treasonous war, by support of dictators destroying and threatening other democracies (Pakistan, Georgia) contrary to the national interest, by failure to fully prosecute America’s attackers (Al Queda in Afghanistan), by conducting operations against the people (illegal wiretaps), programs set above the law and the Constitution, by the creation of a criminal, murderous, unaccountable mercenary army (Blackwater), all unconstitutional acts of impunity and arrogance, subordinating the national interest and the welfare of the people for special-interest goals and profit, and further, diminishing and besmirching the authority of the courts, usurping the lawful bills of Congress (unconstitutional signing statements; by refusing to recognize constitutional, congressional war-power directives); by obstruction of justice to remove constitutional, congressional oversight and separation of powers by criminal and unconstitutional direction of the Department of Justice to block the execution of valid and lawful congressional-committee subpoenas; by further failing to uphold the laws of federal jurisdiction (illegal immigration/employment practices; drug trafficking; human smuggling/slavery); by negligent and improper administration of the national disaster-response resources (Katrina), leaving the states open, unaided victims to an onslaught of crime and disaster; and by twisting the vesting of government authority to be incarnate, and the actions of the People’s government, administered by them, to be solely according to their will and the religious belief and vision of George Bush, regardless of and contrary to the will of the People and their collective voice, expressed through constitutional vote and their elected, legislative representatives, the consequences of which have been the unwarranted death of more than 4,200 U.S. soldiers and the maiming of tens of thousands more, lives neither lost nor damaged in the interest of national security, and compounded by the deaths and maiming of tens upon tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of innocent foreign nationals, not guilty of harm or threat against the national-security interests of the United States, further eroding national security through incitement of foreign nationals to act against the U.S., and diminishing of the military state of readiness, including the destruction of government property, and world-wide erosion of U.S. national integrity.
In the history of this nation, there have never been any to hold the offices more deserving of impeachment than Bush and Cheney, which would condemn them and their acts as wrong, not representative of America, and reinforce for future officials what they cannot do, and in so doing, impeachment will allow Americans to face the world again without shame and guilt, having made right a great, but nonetheless enduring and unmitigable wrong. America’s world standing and historical legacy must be sharply delineated from that of Bush and Cheney’s, a paramount reason that impeachment is both necessary and justified. Yet, although impeachment is not sufficient recourse for justice in the face of such magnitude of crimes perpetrated upon the nation and the world, impeachment can help to ensure there will never be the likes of Bush or Cheney to again darken, with their colluded, corrupting shadow, a flag that once flew proudly in the light of day and right, and which will not see that light again until their stain is finally removed from the People’s government.
The Obama administration should charge the Justice Department to find the evidence for the crimes charged above and prosecute Bush and Cheney, as well as those members of the cabinet and other appointees who are implicated. Justice is not answered by the succession of a new administration merely retiring the previous, criminal one.
The first thing we should do to deal with global warming is "kill the cows". This was a flippant response I heard on CNN's "The Next President: A World of Challenges" this weekend. I can't think of a better source than this former secretary of state, except possibly George "duh-bu" Bush, to explain the effect of bullshit on global climate change than James Baker the Turd.
Lets get real. Cows and other ruminants have been around for millions of years producing gases in the same way for that whole time. So how are they responsible for the increase in greenhouse gases over the last two centuries. What changed? Are there more of them now? Cows, yes. Ruminants, no. Remember history class in elementary and high school? Remember studying about the great plains? The herds of hundreds of millions of bison? Add in all the deer, antelopes, shee, and goats. Do we have more cattle now than the total number in the 17th, 18th, 19th, or 20th centuries?
I am sick and tired of these red herrings being used to delay the implementation of changes in the way we power our economy and produce the goods and services we need to maintain and advance our well being. The sole purpose of their delaying tactics is to allow the to reap the greatest amount of profit by raping the environment and the bulk of the peoples of the country and world. They don't care about the well being of their fellow human as long as they can make a profit. And they call them selves CHRISTIAN. The only thing christian about them is that they think if they say they believe christ is god they will go to heaven when they die. I have yet to see in their actions where they try to emulate Christ in their treament of their fellow humans or life in general. Even with abortion their actions say they believe life starts at conception and ends at birth.
If they were true christians they would be striving to implement policies that promoted that all humans had EQUAL access to the necessities of life with minimal impact on the planet for the most sustainable existance as possible for ALL lifeforms. Instead they scapegoat societies struggling with famine , disease, and poverty and cattle. They deny that their activities over the past few centuries of burning fossil fuels and poisoning the biosphere with dirty manufacturing and mining practices have anything to do with the detiorization of the same biosphere over that same time period. AND SHAME ON US! We have gone along with them. WE keep them in power. WE don't do anything to change. WE LET THEM! It is time we said ENOUGH.
Why are we talking about replacing big oil with big alternative? By big alternative, I am refering to large corporations that are in control of the production and distribution of energy produced from solar, wind, and geothermal. The current energy legislation gives incentives to the same corporations that controll energy today, i.e. BP - Beyond Petroleu. Why should we trust them now? What have they done that demonstrates that they have our interest at heart? It is time to take control of the life blood of modern society out of the hands of the few and give back to the many. Solar, wind and geothermal are present every where on the globe. Above all our heads, beneath all our feet and blowing on all our faces. According to big energy, these source of energy can only supply a limited percentage of our energy needs. From their pespective they are right. The cost of obtaining the land necessary to harvest solar, wind, and geothermal in the regions of highest demand is prohibitive. Transmission of the power over the thousands miles from areas of cheap land to areas of use is inefficient. So it is not feasible for large, centralized use.
The flaw in their thinking and what they don''t publisize, is that solar, wind, and geothermal energy are effective if democratized. If every home and commercial building were equipped some combination of these thre, they could supply over 876000% of the worlds annual energy needs and will only increase as our technology improves the efficiency of colloection nd conversion. That is a far cry from the 10% to 50% espoused by big energy. With this kind of energy supply, does it really matter if production of hydrogen from electricity is inefficient at the present time. At current costs the $10 billion / month we are spending to forcibly "democratize" our oil supply under Bush could generate 1,111 Mwatts of electricity based on the current cost of $9/ watt for residential photovltaic systems. We are all familiar with the effects of mass production on costs when a technology takes off, look at computers. What could that $10 billionproduce in 5 or 10 years if we start now. What breakthroughs are on the horizon just waiting for the capital to develop them? See http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2008/07/080731143345.htm for just one example.
We need to stop letting those with vested interest in the good old days of wild price swings, shortages, pollution, and wars advise our policy makers and exert our will for an energy sector that will be stable for about the nest 5 billion years.
I have a master of arts in organic chemistry and earned a's in micro and macro economics, but I am at a loss to understand the argument for deregulation in the economy. Maybe I'm stupid. Could someone correct me in my thinking. Here is how I see it.
Humans regulate every aspect of their personal lives and as a species their environment as best they can. We regulate the temperature of our homes. In fact we live in buildings to regulate our environment from the wild swings of the natural environment. We regulate our behavior when it comes to how fast you can drive your car. Zoning codes and building codes regulate where, what and how we can build and utilize our land. Farms regulate the production of their farms by deciding what and when to plant, preparing the soil, using fertilizers, irrigation, and pest/weed control, instead of relying on wild production controlled by nature alone. I could go on but do I need to?
What is so sacrosanct about capital? Please, someone explain to me how what has occurred with this current mess and those that proceeded it (S and L, 1929, Enron, MCI, etc.) is not analogous to being a hunter/gatherer society. Let me warn you, if you succeed in that argument then you leave me no choice but to consider those decision makers involved to be traitors to the country and guilty of crimes against humanity as grievous as Idi Amin, Po Pot, Milosivich, and Stalin to name afew. To say they didn't know the risks is to acknowlege their total incompetance and drive home the need for extensive regulation. Or they are competant and know what they are doing and the risks involved and don't care if it destroys the economy, national security, and human lives, in which case they are criminals and should be prosecuted. How many people have died from the loss of their retiremnt income, homelessness after the forclosure of the homes, loss of their jobs for billions made by a handfull of big investors.
I hope she wins.

Vermont Candidate Backs Prosecution of President Bush For Murder
by Dan Barlow
BURLINGTON - Charlotte Dennett, the Progressive Party candidate for Vermont attorney general, said Thursday that if elected she would prosecute President Bush for murder.
Dennett, an attorney from Cambridge challenging incumbent Democrat William Sorrell, was joined by Vincent Bugliosi, a famed prosecutor who took on Charles Manson in the early 1970s, at a press conference in downtown Burlington.
As Vermont attorney general, Dennett said she would appoint Bugliosi, who published a book this year called “The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder,” as a special prosecutor to hold Bush accountable for deaths stemming from the Iraq war.
Dennett said Vermont is the ideal state to bring murder charges against Bush, since the state has carried the country’s highest per capita deaths of soldiers in the war. It is also home to nearly 40 communities that moved to impeach the president last year.
“Lots of Vermonters feel very frustrated that the impeachment efforts did not go anywhere,” she said. “This is another avenue for us.”
Bugliosi, a 74-year-old Los Angeles resident and author of the famed “Helter Skelter” book about his prosecution of Manson, called Dennett a “valiant and patriotic woman” willing to put her reputation on the line to bring to justice what he sees as one of the worst criminal acts in recent history.
He told a small crowd gathered in downtown Burlington on Thursday morning that his book clearly lays out evidence showing that Bush and his administration misled the American people and the U.S. Congress into war in 2003.
“George Bush and his people have gotten away with thousands and thousands of murders,” Bugliosi said, citing both American and Iraqi deaths in the five-year-old war. “We, the American people, cannot let him get away with this.”
Bugliosi said any state attorney general or local district attorney can bring criminal charges against Bush once he leaves office early next year. He said Vermont could take on the soon-to-be ex-president by bringing conspiracy to murder charges against him, using his own public statements during the build-up to the Iraq war as evidence.
“Bush and his administration deliberately told lies to deceive people and get the support of the country behind the war,” he said. “That information went out through the media and was heard by residents of the state of Vermont.”
Sorrell said Thursday that promises to prosecute Bush for murder makes “good political sound bites,” but said he does not believe he - or any other local or state prosecutor - has that authority.
To bring about a murder or conspiracy to murder charge against Bush, the actual crime - the death of an individual - would need to take place within his jurisdiction, Sorrell said, which in this case is the Green Mountain State.
“And if I remember correctly, Vermont is still the only state George Bush has not visited while president,” Sorrell said.
Dennett said she read “The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder” earlier this year and was interested in pursuing Bugliosi’s notion that local prosecutors could bring criminal charges against the president.
She was put in touch with him through a friend who has a mutual publicist with Bugliosi. Within a half hour, the two were on the phone discussing the possibility of prosecuting Bush once he leaves office, she explained.
“Right away I felt a real rapport with him,” she said.
But Dennett said she is not a single-issue candidate, adding that she is also interested in issues surrounding the Vermont Yankee nuclear power plant in Vernon and its proposal to extend its operating license beyond 2012.
President John "Know Nothing" McCain, will NEVER investigate Costas Axios because President "Know Nothing" McCain will never expose, embarrass, and prosecute the status quo. President "Know Nothing" will be a good game-player.

other treaties and articles of international law. This war is both criminal and inhumane. These
charters and conventions form the legal basis for charges of war crimes, but they are also a formal
statement of principles of humanity shared by all civilized nations. They are but an expression
of fundamental unalienable rights of all humanity. Conscience demands that those responsible be
brought to justice. The Nuremberg Judgements declare that complacency is not acceptable. We must condemn these crimes and demand that those who gave the orders be punished.
I believe the following charges warrant an indictment:
The invasion of Iraq is a War of Aggression and a Crime against Peace.
The U.S. illegally imprisons, interrogates, abuses and tortures individuals in Iraq,
The most fundamental requirement of International Law is the protection of and care for the injured.

Bush and his administration have operated as if they are above the law. He believes noone can challenge him. Prove him wrong. Iraqis, Americans, and the rest of humanity are counting on you.
