Today I attended an Obama campaign event featuring Obama campaign surrogate, Sen. Ben Cardin. The United States senator from Maryland spoke to a Port St. Lucie, Fl., audience about issues related to retirement, social security and health care. Sen. Cardin explained Sen. Obama's positions and then took questions from the audience.
Unlike the presumptive Republican nominee John McCain, Sen. Obama wishes to maintain the integrity of the social security system, create universal health care, and assure that retirees have income not only from social security, but also from pension plans and personal savings.
Hillary sent out an e-mail this morning asking supporters to pose questions that she will answer. Let's bombard her site with the tough ones, like:
Why have you attacked Obama in a way that gives McCain ammunition if Obama is our candidate?
What will it take to convince you that you have lost?
Do you agree that it is essential to have a Democrat in the White House, even if it isn't you?
And that's just for starters!
