Headline on Bloomberg states that the Dem’s are trying to spoil the great leadership they have been given from the 2008 Election:

Hello,
My name is --------,
I am a registered voter and I plan on donating and fundraising for President Obama, forward thinking Democrats and plan on travelling to Districts outside of my own, to remove Democrats that stand in the way of our ideals. One of our ideals is presenting people with the option (since options and choices are American as Apple Pie) of having Health Insurance, should they wish to keep it.
I vow today, that I and the Obama band of volunteers, workers, old, new, young, rich, working class, Independents, Supportive Republicans, Democrats and more, will organize to reward those that stand with Americans who need care. We will stand with those that stand for us, in fighting for what we believe is a Constitutional right…the right of “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.”
Make no mistake…this is quid pro quo. We, as voters, are sick and tired of Politicians and have been mobilizing to reward leaders. We worked in all 50 states, raised money from nowhere, used technology and showed up on low cost flights to organize. We have the ability to bring new voters out of the woodwork. So, if you’re looking at your poll numbers in your district/state….don’t be fooled. The polls don’t capture young people, new voters, for a variety of reasons….That’s how we won the primary and the general.
You are on our list. We will watch how you move Health Care forward, Stall it or abandon it. Should you stall or abandon, you will be abandoned, too.

My actions aren't properly represented here... I am not doing most of it through this site. I have been sending emails to friends and family. My address book has over 600+ regular contacts. I am so excited about this year's election! Go Obama-Biden!!!
November 4, 2008!!
If you go past respect and admiration you can get to hope, if you keep moving you'll reach support. Its easy to stop there, but if you don't you can make it all the way to action. Thats the journey I've been through over the past two years and until recently I was stalled at support.
It was fairly obsessive support mind you. I donated to my first political campaign before the primaries even began. I tried to convince anyone who would listen why Barack Obama is the best candidate we could hope for; I like to think I played a part in converting my Mother in law (fingers crossed) into an Obama voter. As the polls tightened I realized support, no matter how obsessive, will not help achieve an Obama presidency unless it morphs into action. This is what led me to attend an orientation session at the local Obama office and to cofound this group.
The Obama campaign is relying on all such supporters to realize this - family member to family member, friend to friend, neighbor to neighbor, and convincing our fellow supporters in the swing states to act in the same way. They and we believe undecided voters will place more weight on the considered opinions of people they trust than those of a network anchor or a commercial. It is us who have to make this strategy work. No matter what polls say this election is still desparately close in the swing states and there is plenty of time for momentum to change before election day.
Martin Luther King once said: "Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?" I believe that one of the potentially most important things you can do for others here in america, around the world, and in the future, right now is take action for the Obama campaign. Many of these actions you can take to help the campaign are almost effortless - just click on Action Center to the right to begin.
Welcome to Action

Dear Mr. Obama
After watching the news and the pundit’s last night weigh in on the state on the Presidential race so far I decided to make my way to bed. After tossing and turning for a few minutes I realized that wasn't going to fall asleep any time soon as thoughts of the economy and the day to day concerns not only for my family but for every American were keeping me awake.
Well I just sent out ten more email friend invites. I didn't know I had ten more. I only sent out five the first time and though that was it.
Yesterday I bought a Obama shirt at our mall. I don't often wear t shirts out but will wear this one as often as I can. I think whatever you can think of to do helps not just the things on the list.
I am shy about talking but maybe one day I can talk about the man to get votes for him.
We have about 2 months to do everything we can to make sure Barack Obama gets into office. It's time to do more than just talk about the man; it's time to support with actions. So upload your face photo at www.1MillionFacesforObama.com and show your support. It's simple, free and an easy but effective way to support the cause an help ensure that Barack Obama becomes the 44th President of the United States of America.

With no power beyond his use of words, the person who will next month become the Democratic nominee for the office of President has caused more action at home and abroad than those who hold the reigns of power in their hands.
Yes, I have now, but it hasn't been easy. That power has only been developed to the level I want over the past five years. Before that I was very unforgiving, kept malice whenever I wanted to and would not speak to some people for ages. I slowly learnt why we can be unforgiving and decided to change my outlook.
People are unforgiving for three main reasons.
There are always some who resist change and some who say any talk of change or hope for change is "just words." I don't think Barack's words can be discounted or minimalized so easily. So, I am contributing some of my observations on words. My assumption is that expressing these observations is in itself an action, an action in support of Barack.
Barack's words (like the words of every candidate) reflect upon his or her own self. Barack's words are not ego-centered, but other centered - not so a major contender.
Barack's words epitomize the adage: to speak is to act -- and to act positively, analytically, and in a forward manner.
Barack's words mobilize action - not in a you-I or I-you sense, but in the sense of "we." "We" are not a political machine. "We" are the people (black/white/latino; male/female; young/old, and even one in the hope and in the knowledge that the rich and poor divide will be narrowed). We together are one speaking and acting people.
Obama’s gruff “You’re likeable enough, Hillary” during last night’s ABC debate was hardly cynical, but rather a low-key (and successful) attempt to head off a fruitless squabble about the relative likeability of the candidates, not to mention a gallant effort to rescue Hillary from an embarrassing moment.
Hillary was not being cynical either. Of course her feelings were hurt, and she was courageous to admit it. It hurts to be publicly slapped after doing your best in a lifetime of service. And of course this seasoned politician will soldier on with her characteristic indomitable resilience despite the shaking she’s endured in the last few weeks from the rough winds of political fortune. Her willingness to be vulnerable and honest was positively endearing, and indicative of hard-won personal growth in recent years.
Hillary is deeply warm-spirited. If she could as consistently offer that diplomatic side of herself (i.e., the openness, defenselessness, and respect she offers Chelsea, for instance) toward voters, the press, her rivals, and even America’s presumed enemies, as Obama can and will (rather than attacking, stereotyping, and polarizing her "enemies" as Bush has--i.e., Hillary's recent remark about the "soulless KGB agent, Putin")--her political scope of influence (and fortunes) would change overnight.
Unfortunately, Hillary has not yet conquered her distrustfulness and defensiveness, while Obama has apparently little ego to protect. He judges and attacks no one, including himself, and because of that, he doesn’t feel attacked.
Negative campaigning doesn’t sit comfortably within Hillary’s moral heart, so she was at her desperately inauthentic worst during the opening moments of the debate as she deceptively snuck in unfair innuendos about Obama’s record, attacks which Obama handily deflected with facts.
Then all the other candidates justifiably pounced on her for negative campaigning, which won’t work for her, and shouldn't (how could a ruthless attack-dog heal a nation and lead the world?) and shame on her for the pointless grief and confusion it could bring to what otherwise would be a profitable exchange of competing ideas during a dangerous time.
Unfortunately, it’s a bit much to ask Hillary to suddenly turn into Bill Clinton (or Barack Obama). She is what she is, which is a truly amazing woman with a few limitations and the tenacity to overcome them.
Obama did have a chance to speak briefly and eloquently on the subject of the relative importance of charisma and leadership skills. When Hillary contemptuously dismissed the impact of “words” as opposed to “actions,” Obama countered by insisting that the next President’s ability to inspire the citizenry to greater personal political responsibility was essential. And he’s right. Even Barack Obama will not be able to move forward on the huge, difficult changes we need without overwhelming public backing, because, despite the current popularity of the word “change,” no one likes it.
The American public is gradually awakening to the realization that our next President can break political gridlock only through charismatic, trustworthy leadership. This realization is less fun for Hillary, whose many talents currently lie elsewhere.
Bush continues to assert that we are making "progress" in Iraq. Yet every day, we see more deaths, more explosions, more valuable resources spent interfering in a civil war rather than on pressing needs here at home. Every day, a new family is torn apart by loss.
We see it on our televisions, we hear about it on our radios, we read about it in our newspapers and on the Internet. We know what's going on in Iraq, and we know it's not "progress."
Many of you have written letters to the editors of your local papers, to register your views on Bush's progress report. We'd love it if you shared your letters in the comments section below, or better yet, in your own my.BarackObama.com blogs. We'll highlight some of the most powerful statements.
We don't have to lie down and listen to this stuff anymore. We have a choice: we can let Bush get away with this kind of deception over and over again, or we can call him on it. We can let history happen or we can make history happen.
So keep the letters going, encourage your friends to write too, and share them with the community. Bush may try to ignore the reality on the ground in Iraq-- and the will of the American people-- but we aren't going to make it easy for him.
