Iowa is where this campaign started, and we need to make sure we finish it here.
Check out this quick video of Barack’s trip here last week and then MAKE CALLS RIGHT NOW.
If you haven’t voted yet, you have until 9 PM to cast your ballot. Click here to find your polling location. If you are in line by 9 PM, you have the right to vote.
There are still a few hours to make a big difference in this election. Before the polls close in Iowa -- a crucial battleground state -- here's what you can do:
1. If you haven't already -- VOTE RIGHT NOW—you have until 9:00 PM: Find out where to vote
2. Call or email everyone you know and make sure they've voted.
3. Help turn out voters at a volunteer event near you: Find the closest event
4. Go back to your polling location and encourage everyone to stay in line until they vote. Anyone who is in line before the polls close can cast their ballot, no matter how long the line.
5. If you can't leave your house, get out the vote by calling voters: Choose the state you'd like to call
The election in your state is going to be close -- and you can help bring the change we need. Make history right now by voting and helping others vote.
I though I’d start posting some vote signs as election day is just around the corner and early voting is already underway in many states. If you can vote early, find your polling place and go do so!
I’ve provided these signs as ready-to-print PDFs in both standard letter paper (8½ by 11 inches) and larger tabloid paper (17 by 11 inches) sized versions. Every home printer can handle the standard paper size and most copy shops can print the larger tabloid size. See my How to Create Your Own Signs post for tips on how to make your own.

Here in Iowa, hundreds of our supporters will be meeting at locations across the state to go out knocking on doors and talking with their neighbors about Barack and voting for the change we need.We need to reach out to tens of thousands of voters over the next two days to make sure they know their polling location, and we are going to need your help.

Barack Obama asked us to create something creative. When I'm stressed or have back insomnia I either write, read, create or sing. I'm doing all in this video! Sorry, about the pitch of my voice, I just couldn't get it when the key of the music.

Vote For Change
I became a U.S. Citizen this year to vote in the general election. That was my primary motivation. I am excited to let everyone know that not only I became the U.S. citizen and registered to vote on the same day, but importantly I also voted early for the first time ever.
I was inspired by the CALL FOR CHANGE, and wanted to VOTE FOR CHANGE!!
I will be watching the elections closely on November 4.
GO OUT AND VOTE!!
If you can't get up for voting in this election, you'd better check your heartbeat. What a joy to see unprecedented thousands of citizens standing up to be counted, and FINALLY saying "enough!" And their voices will be heard this time. No more elections stolen by voter purges and disenfranchisement tactics.
...no more buying off the middle class with a few bucks in tax cuts while the rich get huge tax breaks and insider access to government policy making.
...no more government to the highest special interest bidder.
...no more lying, fear mongering and trumped-up unprovoked wars.
...no more torture disguised and trivialized by euphemistic terminology (e.g., "enhanced interrogation techniques").
...no more suspending our Constitutional rights for "security reasons" (real or imaginary)....no more trickle down economy while jobs are shipped overseas.
...no more ignorant fiddling while Rome burns from global warming and myopic energy policies....and the list goes on.
In 8 short years, the neo-conservative overlords of the GOP have taken over a principled and venerable political party and savaged America - and in the process left this generation - and probably the next - in a hole from which we will be fortunate to extricate ourselves. America is seriously wounded. But we can't afford to simply bemoan these dire straits. WE, THE PEOPLE, must act NOW to reverse the damage the Neo-Con GOP has done to our economy, our environment, our Constitution, our Federal budget and our international reputation. We must not get complacent in these last days of the 2008 campaign.
Don't think that Obama has this election in the bag. Please vote!! Vote Barack Obama for President and, yes, vote the entire Democratic ticket to send a message that hard working Americans are committed to rising from the ashes of the Bush-McCain National Morass, to restore American values, prosperity and strength...and to regain our formerly respected position in the community of nations. Your vote is the first and most important step in that direction.

During the 7 day overlap between voter registration and early voting, where Buckeyes could register and vote on site, Obama supporters gave the campaign a huge advantage by turning out in droves.
Now that registration has closed, all that's left is to vote! Voting is going on every day up through Election Day. Thousands in Ohio have already voted, and all reports find that voting early an easy and convenient way to cast a ballot for change--just check out this article from the Youngstown Vindicator. You can locate your early voting location using the tool below, which is also located at www.VoteForChange.com.
Here are some more personal testimonies from early voters in Ohio. Sue from Toledo writes:
I voted on the first day of early voting & it was so exciting! I took a friend with me, & we went to Obama offices first to get more [materials], then it was on to the polls! I was never so excited about voting before in my life, nor have I ever been more proud to cast my vote! Barack is our hope for the future!
Nickie in Wadsworth says:
“There were so many people ready to cast their votes and I was very proud...! It's time for a positive change in this country and I've never supported anyone more than I support Obama! For the first time I'm not voting for someone to keep the 'other guy' from becoming President! What a great feeling to really have HOPE FOR CHANGE! Obama/Biden are bound to instill a renewed faith and pride in our country!”

This election is a truly defining moment in our country’s history. I really see it as a referendum on the soul of America: the person we elect as President is a reflection of how we see ourselves.
Meet Lisa Nicolle, a young filmmaker and substitute teacher in the Atlanta Public School system.
Lisa Nicolle says what we're facing is really a clear choice between progress and the status quo, between inclusion and exclusion. Ultimately, she says, it's a choice between the future and the past.
Recently, as someone who has worked tirelessly on voter registration efforts in Georgia, she was asked to come in and give a presentation about the importance of the upcoming election to a small group of high school seniors.
It's essential to impress a few things on the kids I'm talking to. First of all: vote. We have to vote. This is a real opportunity for these kids to make a statement -- to participate, and create the kind of world they would like to live in.And Barack Obama's own life story is a huge inspiration when it comes to getting involved: even if life has been challenging for you, you can turn things around. That resonates with kids everywhere. That and being a skinny kid with big ears and a funny name.

Thanks to her pep talk at that tiny event, Lisa Nicolle registered three new high school-aged voters. And had even more sign up to help with a follow-up voter registration drive last weekend. And that, plain and simple, is the story of the greatest grassroots campaign in Presidential history.
I have stood next to so many different kinds of people who are doing the same work for this campaign -- from an older white man who was a self-described recovering Republican, to a young biracial boy whose mom wanted to show him how big he could dream and brought him to see Barack speak, to these kids I work with in the inner city, to a woman I met at a rally who had really believed in Bobby Kennedy, and said to me, "This, this is what we have been waiting for."
We are at a defining moment in history.
And volunteers like Lisa Nicole are proving that when Barack Obama is elected President, it will be just as she says: a reflection of this country. That is, a country that pulled itself together at a critical juncture, and in an enormous community effort worked hard and put America on the right track.
You can turn things around.
The time to join this movement has never been more important:
