My congratulations is extended to Barack Obama who currently serves as President of the United States of America! The 2008 Presidential election was quite enlightening for me. I am hopeful that President Obama will bring the election to a close by sponsoring a forum for all 48 candidates!
My vision is that these candidates could gather to bowl with President Obama and share their experiences as candidates. We need to develop a positive camaraderie as we proceed with our campaigns for 2012. We need to work TOGETHER for a truly UNITED States of America.
The list of candidates is available on the web through "Wikipedia." I am in the "other" category since I served as a write-in "INDEPENDENT" Presidential candidate. May we, as candidates, unite to serve our country and share our vision for this prominent position in our country.

It's been a long time coming, and a change is gonna come! We must, as Americans, continue to pray for this great nation, and our current President as well as President Elect Barack Obama and his family. We must remember to continue doing our part in making and keeping this country a great nation.
The voters stated profoundly that we, as Americans, will no longer stand for the same old same old. We have a voice in our vote and we will stand together to bring about a change in this Nation. Therefore, if there are "repeat offenders" in your legislative, senate, or congressional seats, VOTE THEM OUT! We will not get anywhere with the same people in office. We hear it everyday...if you think you're going to get a different outcome doing the same thing with the same people in control, you're fooling yourself, wasting your time, and remaining stagnant.
It's time to stir the waters, take a leap of faith, and exercise that FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD! Get involved! Your little bit counts - even if it's just helping to feed a neighbor's child; making sure your neighbors are safe and warm; helping the children in your neighborhood complete their homework; lending a hand to the senior citizen in your community; etc. At least participatie and not stand idly by watching things get worse - that is no longer an option.
This crisis is real and WE BELIEVE that YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! YES WE CAN!
We will continue to pray and remain involved in whatever needs to be accomplished to bring Americans together, change the economy, and educate our children - the future leaders of this great Nation.
Take care and GOD BLESS AMERICA!
Mary
Truly an inspiring perseverance you showed the world. Truly remarkable victory in history. I am from the Philippines, from day 1 I came to know you Mr. President I kept telling myself what an incredible person you were…the legacy you live up to…I am touched by your story as it is never far from mine…I grew up with my mom and just like you I am molded by his absence than that of his presence…Recently, we had a taping about responsible parenthood, I was obliged to make an impromptu script for our host. I hold for a second on how to go through it, I pause for a little then went on it… I know what to write…I know it by heart…what makes a good person is what he is molded to…either you will be raise by one parent or two…it wont matter as long as your parents know how to raise you by his/her belief…by his/her judgmen...justified by YOU, Mr. President.
A historic and amazing time in history.
On Nov 4, 2008 we elected Barack Obama. A Mullato Black man from Hawaii. Both parents where not always around. Both parents died young. Grandparents raised him, and his grandmother died the day before he won the biggest election of our life. Against all the odds. He persevered. Believed in himself. Educated himself, and went without. Lived in South Chicago to learn about his community. Never stopped, or gave up. He was the first Black President at Harvard. He is an American. He reached out across racial lines, bridging the gap between the ages. We have now been propelled into the future, and we have now experienced a country just transforming itself. Thank you to all the Americans who voted. Take enormous pride in your actions. We fighted for our positions. We have made our choice. It's now time to come together.

I had a dream: We are writing the year 2016, America has left behind the economy crisis of 2008 and developed to a green, social and prosperous society. The unemployment rate is down at 2.3 %, the number of poor people dropped from 37 to 9 million, the national deficit is only a fourth of that in 2008. Every American has affordable health care now, and Obama`s tax cuts have put more money into the pockets of the middle-class American, which led to higher consumption, re-fueled the economy, and created millions of new jobs. Above all 5 million new created green collar jobs and a better, more effective environmental policy with solar, wind and other renewable energies dropped America`s energy bill, air pollution and CO 2 balance by 25%, making the country cleaner and almost independent of foreign oil. America´s is about to become the world leader in green technology, especially due to the broad-scale introduction of US built hybrid cars. In foreign politics America has restored faith and regained respect in the world community of nations as a wise and peaceful mediator in all conflicts. This and other measures also led to an improvement of the national security. The dark Bush years are history and America has made the real CHANGE to a better future - YES WE COULD - And due to the great achievements of Barack Obama`s successful 8 years in national and international politics a committee was founded, proposing the extension of his presidency for 4 more years, as applied during the Roosevelt administration.
Was all of this just a dream ? - No, you can make it happen by voting for OBAMA next Tuesday - It is now up to you, America !
SHOP AMERICA SUPPORTS OBAMA
A few months ago, I attended a luncheon with several of the most influential leaders of the Hawaii community. These leaders discussed the chracteristics, the personalities, and the actions of a good leader. Open-mindedness, time management skills, sincerity, trusthworthy, and enthusiasm ranked among the top. They further noted how numerous members of the Hawaii community possessed these skills. Unfortunately, the community lacks the most important skill. Voice.
I am a high school student in Honolulu, and am currently taking an Advance Placement class on the History of the United States. One of the class's major projects this year is to volunteer at a political campaign, and write a reflection on the experience: feelings, thoughts. Basically, the good and the bad stuffs.
I was very excited about the project. But, as I started to search for Barack Obama campaign events that provide volunteer opportunities, I was quite dismayed at how uninvolved the community is. I searched, and searched, and searched, and searched, and nothing. I found nothing.
When I came across this website, I thought I finally found hope-- awesome webpage design, teen-friendly interface, social networking-- what else can you ask for? But, as I search for events that are going on at my community (96818, 50 miles radius), the curtains were once again shut as the search only came up with 12 results.
What is going on Hawaii? Sen. Barack Obama is from our land! He is a member of our community, our ohana! We should be the one in front of the battle lines, campaigning, fundraising, painting our bodies with blue and red like the crazy football fans (only if necessary--sounds fun though). But instead, we do nothing!
I write this blog not just to vent out, but to raise the Hawaii awareness of how UNAWARE we are. How UNINVOLVED we are. How we LACK, and NEED VOICE.
It's not too late. We have each other, and Sen. Barack Obama on our side.
Let's go Hawaii, Let's go OBAMA!
Dear Mr. Green and Ed Kelley:
I can only assume that the video commentary presented on NewsOk.com was a parody, and a very good one at that. Your description of Senator McCain’s “brilliant” decision in choosing Ms. Palin was political wit at its best. She’s “young”, a “mom”, a “woman” and will be a magnet for attention, already eclipsing Senator Obama’s overlooked acceptance speech of the night before. Your sarcastic tone throughout the video will go down as a classic for the ages. Of course, the next Vice-President of the United States should have the qualities of “normal” voters! She’s a hockey mom, served on a town council (in a metropolis of 9,000 no less), she fishes (that alone should qualify her but who am I to say), and she eats moose burgers. What more could we ask for in a candidate? Well, you hit it out of the ballpark when you proudly stated that she even played her high school championship basketball game with a “stress fracture”! Oh my God, tell me no!
Your commentary was meant as farce wasn’t it? We are talking about a woman who has no international or foreign policy experience (okay, she did apply and received her first passport last year), served with her PTA, and then moved up to the town council, and eventually mayor of Wasilla, population 9,000. She has less than two years experience as governor of a state with half the population of the Oklahoma City metropolitan area and is currently under investigation by an independent council for the misuse of government power. Yes, she’ll be a magnet at the convention, for what, I am not sure.
What an incredible feeling we will have once McCain and Palin are in the White House! Her years coaching little league and being the runner-up in Miss Alaska will come in handy when she and Putin, Chavez, or Kim Jong Il go face to face. After all, Senator McCain surely kept the best interest of the United States in mind when he selected her. After all, they had only met once before his decision. She must really be impressive. I’ve heard she’s really going to siphon off all those Hillary women with her lifelong membership in the NRA (we do need more AK-47’s on the streets, don’t we?) and her courage in defending a women’s health and equal pay issues. Thank goodness Senator McCain did not make some silly political move just to be elected. That would be embarrassing, wouldn’t it?
The future of our country and its position within the global community is not something to take lightly. Your commentary so blatantly ignored the most important facts and most of all, completely voided any future credibility of The Daily Oklahoman and its editorial positions. You and the newspaper are a disgrace to Oklahoma City, the State of Oklahoma and the United States of America.
Thank you,
Greg Geurin

So I put this out to you Senator Obama, I believe in the direction you are going and so I put this in your very hands, and that of your supporters. I have created what I call a Transduced Engine. Originally I designed it to be in a motorcycle but the system is more suited for the auto industry.
The Transduced Engine uses no fossil fuels meaning NO GASOLINE, and has no emmisions. It is a sealed fluid dynamic worm drive system with compressed air charged system. I can state this, it changes the very direction of an electric Hybrid. The Transduced Engine uses a rail of compressed fluid drivers, and magna chargers that recharge the cars lightweight battery as it drives. Unlike hybrids my powerplant charges itself.
Why havent others invented it. Because people forget that small inventors are what MADE AMERICA, but if your not some Big 3 or famous scientist you could not possibly have an idea worth helping the world.
Reality is this Sir. My invention is the real deal it has no fuel injection, no spark plugs, no spark plug wires, no radiator fluid, no brake fluid, no exhaust pipes, cadilatic convertors, in short it looses the entire tradition of the gasoline and desiel engine.
It puts the Big 3 and the Oil Companies on the chopping block. I want to give my invention to our people, our America to show we are strong. My engine can be adapted to fit in any car, truck, bus or semi. My Transduced Engine would change the entire outlook on fossil fuels usage.
All it takes are those willing to accept change and make a differnce to grow with the times. The Transduced Engine would eliminate the need to drill for oil off our shores, and Alaska's wilderness.
It would though cripple the oil companies, and the Arabian Kings because we would not need them. My power plant could be ready for full production in a year. At 1/3 the cost that the Big 3 spend on fossil fuel or Hybrid engines alone. Being that my designs looses 1/2 of what they put into vehicles today.
Best Wishes Senator Obama on becoming our next President.
In these amazing days where the future of our great nation is being written and re-written before our eyes; where the stigma of what can in reality be achieved by any type of people regardless of color or gender or social status is being erased and reformed; it is easy to be caught up in the madness and in the euphoria of watching history unfolding that we can lose sight that still the greater fight is ahead of us. In truth while historical and trailblazing, I cannot bring myself to believe that either Senator Obama, nor Senator Clinton entered into this race focused solely on being "the first". In this point and time where our nation supossedly of, by, and for the people the will of the people has been patently ignored for going on eight years. Our opinions no longer seem to matter to those we have put into office, our desires fall on deaf ears and should we raise our voices with the sound of our discontent we are labeled asunpatriotic. It is in these most dire of times as our government continues to turn a blind eye and deaf ear to what so completely weighs down on the spirit and the pocket of the American people that voices rose up with a mighty shout to say to the masses that your anger has been heard, your despair has been noted and Senator Obama rose up with a message of hope telling the American people that the end is not yet come and we as a nation, as a people, as an American people that the end is not yet come and we still have higher yet to go and it was with that desire to see America raised out of the hole that greed and an utter disregard for this nation and it's people that caused them to launch these candidacies that will forever be burned into the consciousness and into the history of our nation. Their desire to see a wounded nation healed is what has led us to this place and time.

Barack Obama is not a Muslim, but a recent survey found that about 10 percent of Americans believe he is. That perception has been fueled by a campaign of rumors and innuendo. It's a campaign that has caused pain in many Muslim communities, including one in Pennsylvania, which holds a key presidential primary Tuesday.
Obama had a Muslim stepfather. As a child, he learned about Islam and sometimes went to mosque. Nevertheless, he's a devout Christian.
But his middle name, Hussein, has been used by opponents to imply that he's a Muslim. . .
The trickle-down effect of such messages over radio, TV, the Internet and e-mail can be felt in West Philadelphia, in the city's Muslim community.
'No Shame to Be a Muslim'
"We felt sad," says Abdul Musaitif, who runs a Muslim pizzeria in Germantown. "It's no shame to be a Muslim."
Musaitif, a Palestinian from Ramallah, is now a naturalized U.S. citizen. He decries the idea that a reference to Obama being a Muslim could be seen as an accusation. But he says this is just the latest piece of negativity he has witnessed.
He adds: "They say this is a [democratic] country."
Musaitif also owns the butcher shop next door. His employees are all Muslim, and all the meat he serves, including pizzas, burgers and bacon, are halal — pork-free and Islam sanctioned. Despite everything though, Musaitif says he still feels very American.
"I've been here 24 years; my kids [were] born here," he says. "Everything I own is here."
Standing beside him is Khalil Abdul Jabbar. An African-American convert, he now wears the sort of garb — a long black tunic, prayer cap and unkempt beard — that singles him out as a devout Muslim. He says he's not surprised that labeling Obama a Muslim is considered a smear
In the last years the World enter in a dangerous path,is necesary change that. The only way the i know to do that,is to everybody work united in the same cause. I don't want sound like the hippies from the 70's,they just to said"We want to change the world",im not talking about that,im talking the we need to all get involved in the same cause,to make the live better, every single day when you wake up you be happy & thank full for be alive, for have a family,im the your day be full of great moments with your family & friends, that is what im talking about, because the way of live of many people around the world is to wake up,go to work & make money, because if you dont do that, your are gonna have a lot a troubles, but when you do that, you pass less time with your family, you miss a lot great time without them. Life is more then that, the have to be,we need to have better & stronger & united family, its the only way to make better our society, enjoy the simple things & share with them that every single day,we need to have more stronger family values, but not in the republican way,the is not sincere,im talking about the everybody we need to change our mentality im think in our family & make our priority. When Barak Obama talk about the is important to change the mind of the people in Washington,in the way they do politics, that is really important, but we need to change the way the we see & act every single day with our family & our friends, remember: the money is not the most important. That is why this is not a campaing, this is a movement,a movement to change,im be aware & take concience the we need to get involved if we really want to make this happen. Not only depend from Barak, depend of every single of us.Don't matter from where you're,this is a movement the trancend the United States of America, this is a movement the affect the all world.Im proud to be part of that. Inspired by Will.i.am's video and the Yes We Ken Girl, as well as being moved daily by Obama's rhetoric and promise of a better America and vicariously a better world, I thought I would do my part:Following is an Obama poster I translated to Hebrew. It is my first creation for the campaign, and I am thinking about making a Hebrew video as well. We'll see…
I will elaborate a bit on my artistic decisions:Translating 'change we can believe in' proved to be somewhat of a challenge, as the Hebrew word for 'we can' (NUCHAL, נוכל) is the exact one for 'crook' (NOCHEL, נוכל). In this age of Rovean politics, even a hint of such subliminal connections can be bad – remember the 2000 Democrats/rats ad by the Bush campaign? For that reason I chose wording which loosely translates to 'change that can be believed in', which has the added benefit of being misread as something like 'Change, you can believe in him'.
Since Hebrew uses a different Alphabet altogether, I could not use the original fonts. These are the closest I could find:
Please, in order to deeply get into some solid, vibrant bases that would help the people take Texas with Senator Obama, his campaign managers should crucially make sure that; in the manner of the Wall of Jericho message he gave in Atlanta at Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Ebenezer Baptist Church, Senator Obama should talk about how he found Christ [as he did in the Good Samaritan message he gave in Georgia or Alabama?: I can't remember which church now] in a worship service with some Texas churches, especially the following two mega ones and small ones too dpending on his time schedule:
1:
Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church: Central Campus: 3700 Southwest Freeway, Houston, Texas 77027
2:
Thomas Dexter: T.D. Jake's The Potter's House: 6777 West Kiest Boulevard, Dallas, Texas 75236
Every hand should be on deck as Senator Obama's people's movement rolls into Texas. The time is now. There is no going back. This is the time. This is the hour. This is the people's time to create practical, empathic "CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN." The need is urgent. And by GOD'S grace and favour, I believe that the wonderful people of the United States of America will once more re-create the Union into one all Americans and all humankind can be proud to cherish. This urgent hour is upon us. Let the people in Texas and all across the Union make it happen through Senator Obama. Now is the time!
Much has been said lately, here and elsewhere, about how the campaign feels - about how the old, acidic politics of demeaning one's opponent has drawn Senator Obama's attention off reiterating his message. One can see the temptation, and empathize with it. Not only are there scurrilous untruths circulating, but the candidate himself must feel as though he's been saying the same things over and over. The change might seem invigorating, even, to the candidate and even the followers when you consider how often the message has been delivered to another fresh audience. From Barack right down to the volunteers manning phones and knocking on doors, the same basic information has been repeated countless times.
So now we each ponder the need to balance this substantive, inspiring message against the urgency of correcting misinformation, knowing the power of first impressions. Surely the most intimate strategists in the Obama campaign are doing their utmost to respond to the shifting conditions this attack poses. Surely, too, Barack participates in the discussions, lending his composed creativity and deeply held convictions to the process. Clearly advisors and candidates in each campaign wrestle with such strategic and tactical decisions daily; you and I witness the results.
My message is not for the Senator, nor those advising him. My message is not for the reporters, editors, producers, or any of the other participants who earn their living by generating ratings and advertising revenues. My message is for you.
You, no matter if you're a campaign volunteer for Obama, a dyed-in-the-wool supporter of one of the Republican candidates, or a person who just happened to do some reading today because the time to decide is approaching and you're after some insight.
A man who clearly has the credentials coming out of law school to go virtually any direction chooses to work on behalf of low-income citizens because it's the right thing to do. Barack Obama was obviously a growing force when the DNC selected him to debut his stirring vision for a national audience via the 2004 convention, bringing him to the attention of so many of us. Had anybody dared imply he was raising "false hopes" in the wake of that inspirational speech the party leadership would have been outraged.
Senator Obama will be a factor in the direction of politics and government in this country for decades; he has the vision, drive, and integrity we all crave in our leaders. The opportunity has become: can we help him ascend to the Presidency to carry on his work, where he can spread his impact more readily across the country and the world?
Our time is now.
