It's been quite a while since I updated this blog, but felt like enough has happened recently that an update is due. I've been busy following all the recent events with the economy and of course I watch Obama's speeches when they happen. This past one inspired me to not only create some stuff around the whole "nobody messes with Joe" slogan, but also made me start a new blog devoted to all the products that end up being created when events like that happen.
My most recent blog is about another seemingly popular topic that comes around this time of year. I remember last year, Irish Obama stuff was all over the place during St. Patrick's Day. I don't see things slowing down in regards to this love of both green beer and Obama, so I wrote an article on Barack Obama's St. patrick's Day t-shirts. It's interesting that on the site I use for all my designs, "Obama Irish t-shirts" are the very first thing you see on their St Patricks Day t-shirts page. He's got to be poplular if he's getting that much attention. It makes me with I had designed some shamrock'ed out designs myself. Maybe next year :/
In other news, I think Obama's first 4 days of being in office were sensational. There were so many reversals of Bush's laws that happened in such a short period of time that it was amazing to witness. The fact that he jumped in and changed things right off the bat makes me think more and more that he's got an idea of the direction he wants to take things toward. I think Bush not only lacked direction, but with what direction he had, he was poorly misguided.
Obama's Change.gov is also another major shift in the way of government. There's something truly beneficial to having all the expenses of government in the close scrutiny of the eyes of its citizens. My only hope is that not only do they keep the information public, but that they also make a way to comment and/or submit feedback on various expenses. I have a feeling the large US population will be able to spot waste more efficiently than a handful of people in the whitehouse.
I'm going to try to update this more often as I get the time, but until then, I wish everyone who reads this the best in these crazy times.
Since January 20th 2009 Barack Obama is the 44th president of the United States of America, a very historic inauguration day. Think back to 1963, when Martin Luther King held his famous speech, saying "I have a dream...", and see what a positive change has allready been made since then. With Barack Obama the first African American president in US history is in the White House, Martin Luther King`s dream is about to come true and that´s really great ! - Shop America supports Barack Obama and wishes him all the best for his future, hoping that he can really perform the "Change" for America and the world ! - Visit our Barack Obama section and check out "Yes We Can" and other political designs on t-shirts, buttons, stickers and more: BARACK OBAMA DESIGNS - YES WE CAN

I had quite a bit of fun during this past election process making t-shirt designs. Designers everywhere were inspired by Obama and there weren't any shortages of designs out there to show your support with. I was half tempted to buy one of the official limited edition shirts by Pharrell Williams that I saw on this site a while back. Anyways, I wanted to share my favorite t-shirt designs inspired by Barack Obama. It's a short list of shirts but they're all top notch designs.
In no particular order...
Since I just mentioned it... The Pharrell Williams t-shirt design:

With the hope, unity and excitement of Barack Obama's victory, many have commented that we're feeling a sense of both national and spiritual renewal that's almost like a revival.
To that end, please take a look at a design I created:

I VOTED!I LIVE IN COLORADO!I VOTED FOR OBAMA LAST WEEK!
GO OBAMA!!
OUR TIME FOR CHANGE HAS COME!
My spiffy t-shirt is on it's way!
I hope that I will win the ticket to the Grant Park-a-palooza / Obamacon. But then my awesome friend who I promised I would go with would feel very unhappy... I dunno. I think it would rock. Front row seats!!!
Anyway, I can't wait for my t-shirt. I hope the size S wasn't an adult Small, but we'll see. Maybe I can make it shrink a lot...
Also, fivethirtyeight.com says that Obama has a 93.7% chance of winning. I guess there is a 93.7% chance I will go to school on Wednesday and not wear black.
Dear God, I hope there isn't a crazy voting scandal like the last two elections.
I watched a great video featured on boingboing.net about how if one controls who votes, then one controls who wins an election. So true. I think it was for videothevote.com? I dunno. But I do know that I am going to skip out on orchestra practice on Tuesday so I can plunk down and watch CNN for 7 hours straight. =D
Signing off, Ms. A
Regret that this racist t-shirt was seen on a public street in Oklahoma City, OK. The person who sent this asserted that it's not racist. Really? How can anyone even defend this stuff? Mike W Tulsa+ Who knows that racists usually shrink from the spotlight of broad daylight

I wanted to let everyone know about a range of t-shirts I have designed in support of Barack Obama in the UK... As a UK citizen I unfortunately cannot vote on November 4. However, after having lived in the States for a couple of years, I was keen to somehow get involved in the movement and this is my way of contributing to the campaign and spreading Obama's message. The t-shirts are available at www.barackobamatshirts.co.uk and are priced at £16.99 (I will hopefully generate enough sales in order to cover my costs - I do not anticipate making any money from this venture). I am encouraging customers to make an optional donation in the region of £5 / $10 through the official campaign website (Please note that as I understand it, only US citizens are allowed to donate). I hope that you like the designs and that this is of real interest to all you Obama supporters in the UK! Go Barack! Steve UK Barack Obama T-Shirts
My grown son was born with Down syndrome and grew up included in the mainstream of our community and public school classrooms with the support and encouragement he needed to show us his true potential. The crashing economy will have a huge effect on adults with disabilities as well as children growing up who deserve the same or better opportunities than my son enjoyed.
I believe that it is important for us to speak up and be visible in our communities so that our neighbors and extended family know we respect Barack Obama and trust him to lead us through the present economic crisis, deal with other pressing priorities that affect every person in our family and neighborhood.
You can make a difference in this election even if you cannot donate money to the campaign. Speak up and speak out about why families of adults with Down syndrome and other disabilities support our candidates, Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Post pictures of your sons and daughters with the candidates and create videos for YouTube. Write letters to the editor of your local newspaper. We do not trust the rock star Sarah Palin to be an effective or informed advocate for our grown sons and daughters or the average child with Down syndrome.
Women who have children with Down syndrome who strongly support Barack Obama have a new discussion group at YahooGroups: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DownSyndromeMamasforObama/Post message: DownSyndromeMamasforObama@yahoogroups.com Subscribe: DownSyndromeMamasforObama-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
I recently discovered other families of individuals who have Down syndrome who are showing their support at their websites as well as offering t-shirts and other products that we are proud to wear and display. Please consider creating your own local t-shirt designs, bumper stickers and yard displays that show our support for Barack Obama. Telephone, talk with, email or write your friends, family and neighbors about why the lives of children and adults with Down syndrome will be considered and will improve when Barack Obama is elected President. Members of our church congregations should know that our prayers are with Barack Obama.Down Syndrome Advocates for Barack Obama for President 2008T-shirts and other productshttp://www.cafepress.com/downdownbaby Blue and Yellow Ribbon on black background (more colors available)Adult and Child sizes-----------------------------------------------------Families with kids with Down Syndrome Bumper Stickers and Yard Signs http://www.cafepress.com/DownSynObama"Show the world that just because your child has Down syndrome does NOT mean you support Sarah Palin.
