After loosing the elections to Obama. John Mccain goes home with hope of having a wonderful Thanksgiving with his immediate family. Mccain flew into his hometown on his private jet but when he reached the airport, his usual guest didn’t greet him. There weren’t any balloons, the bands weren’t playing or crowds weren’t cheering. This was unusual, he didn’t even see Sarah Palin. He looked into the distance but all he could see was snow and his cold breath in the air. He looked at his secret service and even they looked shocked about what was happening. For 40 years his town greeted him every Thanksgiving, so WHAT HAPPENED.
He looked at his wife and gave her a smile then said, “Moneys been tight this year for everyone baby. Maybe the town couldn’t afford a celebration this year”
Mrs. Mccain looked at her husband with her devilish grind, “You’re probably right baby. Everyone can’t afford the things we have!”
Mccain grabbed his wife arm and helped her through the snow. He looked at his wife then said, “At least we still have our limo!”
Mccain’s limo was black and warm inside. The bar was filled with Champaign, just like years before. His secret service followed the limo in their black Yukon. Mccain could see despair in his wife’s eyes. He looked at her and said this while he rubbed her thigh, “Baby, I’m still your little P.O.W, right”
Mrs. Mccain’s wife batted her eyes then ran her finger thru Mccain’s hair and gave him a hug as he continued to rub her thigh, “You are my little soldier. Don’t worry!”
Mccain leaned back in his leather seats proud of what he just heard. But when he looked out his window it all disappeared, “What’s going on here?”, Mccain yelled.
Mrs. Mccain rushed to the window because she wanted to see. But what she saw she couldn’t believe, “Why do everyone in your town have Obama campaign signs in there yards!’
Mrs. Mccain looked at John and she immediately knew he was scarred. His eye lit up like a deer staring into your headlights, “I can’t believe it. My own people voted for Obama. What’s going on?”
Alarms kept ringing in John’s ears as he looked out the window and things slowly started to become clear. Most of the people he knew was in Obama’s below 250 thousand dollar tax bracket. While Mccain was trying to help the rich, he was forgetting about the poor. This is something that Republicans have done thousands of times before. As Mccain’s thoughts lingered as his wife started to scream.
Mrs. Mccain, “What the hell did you do? You lost to a black man. Now our lives are ruined. No one will ever remember you for being a prisoner of war. Now everyone will look at us and laugh. And our friends want come to our parties or to any of our functions because you were the first White Republican Man to loose to a Black Democrat.”
Mccain couldn’t believe what was ringing in his ears. He looked at his wife because he felt like he had to make things clear, “LooK!”, pointing, “This race wasn’t about color. I lost to a great man. A-----smart guy!”
Mrs. Mccain laughed, “You lost to a Smart Guy… You lost to a great man”, She paused, “You didn’t say that when you were running around calling him a terrorist. You didn’t say that when you made allegations that Obama was a socialist or he wasn’t fit to be President for the last 23 months”
John looked his wife dead in her eyes, “Now you listen here. I only said those things because your family was about to be taxed because of his policies, if your family loose money then I loose money. I didn’t marry you for only your body, Baby. I married you for power and your family seen me as an opportunity to increase their power.”
Mrs. Mccain was furious about what she just heard. Her eyes was red and her vision was blurried, “You little short dwarf. I know you are angry right now, so I’m going to act like I didn’t hear what you just said. But remember one thing! I made you and I’ll break you… Believe it..You had a chance to get power but you lost, I never lost and I can changed your world with a flick of the wrist”

(all pictures copyright to Samme S. Samareta)This is Samme blogging from Sacramento, capital of California at the Rally on Repeal Prop. 8, Marriage Equality March. Thousands of people, men, women, teens and children rallied peacefully around the Sacramento Capitol that started around 10:30 AM. This rally is also organized around cities large and small in America and around the globe who would like to show their support for love, equality and human rights. Proposition 8 won on the Nov. 4 election which bans same sex marriage and it fosters discrimination and hate not just for our gays and lesbians brothers and sisters but it is also a violation on people's basic human rights and constitutional rights. The fact that this peaceful rally is happening around the globe is a testament to love, positive change and oneness. Love will prevail and love will win. All of my photos from this rally are now uploaded at my Flickr account. Check out my Sacramento Marriage Equality Rally photos at Flickr by clicking here. Men, women, teens and children marched shouting, "What do we want? Equality! When do we want it? Now!" Let us hope that Prop. 8 which is a proposition of H8 (hate) be repealed and overturned. Love and equality to all! Thank you, SammePassionately blogging for peace, love and equalityThe following photos are just a few of my selected ones that I uploaded to My Gaia Photos. It is not all of it, otherwise it will take time to load this page. : ) More Change Is Gonna Come!Kudos to the Street Team volunteers!!! Thank you!The Sacramento CapitolLET FREEDOM RING!LET THE LIGHT SHINE AND SPREAD LOVE ALL OVER THE LANDS!
We will see how this will turn out in the Obama administration.
BE STILL MY HEART!
Dear Michelle, I recommend pastel lavender drapes with a fine muted floral pattern, 62" x 108" for the Lincoln Bedroom...
At 8:40 when we won Pennsylvania, it seemed we had it. At 9:34 when we won Ohio, you knew we won the election. At 11:00, we won Virginia, and Barack's win was official, as the west coast polls closed. At 11:12 Bush congratulated Barack. At 11:20 McCain conceded. By 11:25, Florida made it a landslide. The only question was, by what margin. And at the stroke of Midnight, Barack addressed 125,000 in Chicago, and the world. Indiana straggled in this morning, and North Carolina is still too close to call. Popular vote 52% to 47%. Voter turnout 64%, the highest since 1908.
A point of great pride, I brought my 18 month old baby girl into the voting booth with me. I started the lever to select Barack, and she pulled it down, casting the historical vote of vision and reason that will guide and steward the environment she grows up in.
The mandate that a more than two-to-one landslide brings, re-affirms that America can recognize heartfulness and good sense. It tells us that many people with deep emotional investments in other parties have the ethical integrity to realize that we are all in this together, do some homework, consider different views, and choose empathy for people over the comparative shallowness of party. This is something everyone should respect. An elder I knew used to say "I wasn't born Democrat, Republican or yesterday" and she also used to say "It's never too late to do the right thing". My faith in America has risen higher.
Barack is not perfect, and he is not all things to all people, but he is an organic conduit or an awakening progressive movement. The doors to ideas are open for business, inspiration is back on the table, vision is back in stock on the shelves, and reason is the special of the day.
Now that the ship has come into port, and the lines are cleated, we can begin our journey to make a thousand dreams, positive healthy dreams of vision, a reality. Welcome all, as we are indeed all in this together. Last night I posted "I will gaze at the moon for a moment and toast our beautiful family. If you gaze at the moon too, our spirits can mingle there to smile at the road ahead." To all who joined me, Down with disease! To health and better days! Cheers!
LOVE to all, and to all a GOOD night.
Pleasant Dreams & All Good Things, Greg-joyous happy tears-
It is a sad day today, as we must mourn the passing of a truely great woman. Much as we must mourn her passing, it is a stark reminder of how important tomorrow should be to all of us. We are now reminded that we are not just voting for ourselves, but we are voting to honor Madelyn Dunham, who has waited 47 years for this day to come. We are voting for those who dared to hope, and those who have given their lives, and bled so that we may have this day. Let us honor these great people this Tuesday, November 4, 2008, and fulfill the dreams of a woman who could not see this day and so many who are no longer with us.
My brothers and sisters, we are now reminded that a 6 hour wait is not too long, for there are those who have waited a lifetime for this moment... for this opportunity to cast this historic vote. Stand together tomorrow, no matter the weather, no matter how long, for tomorrow, we are one and we are on the side of history.
This vote is historic not because Barack Obama will be the first African-American President of the USA. This vote is historic because we are voting for a new America... where life and death is not decided by the health insurance companies... where we believe again that we are "One Nation, Under God" and we are all equal...
Many of us live out our lives without the opportunity to have a significant moment. This one moment, that will be shared by a nation... One moment, where we forget about the color of our skin. One moment, where we all come together... with hope... that tomorrow will be a brighter day.
Remember this day... Remember the day we changed the world.

I went out to dinner this evening with my husband. We wanted to try a Vietnamese restaurant we had seen while dashing around Danbury, so for the first time we went to Pho Vietnam Restaurant at 56 Padanaram Road in Danbury, CT. This is a small family run restaurant with some booth’s and tables. We were greeted very nicely by a woman and young girl, and then a man. They all recognized that we were new customers and maybe they were a little concerned that we might not like the cooking. They did everything to make us feel welcome and find out what we liked to eat. We ordered some soup that I had heard about and was very curious to try, it is called Pho Dat Biet, my husband had a less ambitious soup but equally delicious named Pho Tai, we ordered Jasmine tea, 2 pots, fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce and a delicious Vietnamese fried rice with vegetables and shrimps. For dessert we were encouraged to try a dish of cassava with vanilla ice cream. Let me tell you that this was simply delicious, everything was fresh and wonderful. The soup was just out of this world, with the gentle spices and herbs, and lots of delicious cilantro which I just love. The best part was the price, under $50.00 for all of this!
There is a counter ticking away to November 4th available here.
Might be useful for putting tasks in perspective.
Everytime I write a post it is critical of Hillary Clinton......so much so that it must seem that I harbor a long-standing dislike of her. But that's absolutely not true. In fact, I admired and supported her until early this year when I realized that we have something very special in Barack Obama.
Accordingly, roughly 9 months ago I became an ardent Barack supporter and, with all the others, patiently waited those long excrutiating months for Hillary to finally drop out, support him, and act like the avid Democrat of which she is so capable.
She promised to fully support him and do "everything in my power" to help Barack Obama get elected. She has certainly made a few excellent speeches. And her husband delivered a top-notch speech at the convention. But, as was pointed out in a Huffington Post article a few days ago, it seems clear that Bill Clinton still harbors a resentment for what happened during the primary. And where is Hillary?
I could write almost endlessly on how important it is for Barack Obama to win in November. Suffice it to say, almost unbelievably, it is even more important now than it was only a few short months ago. John McCain would be horrible not only for the country, but for the entire world. It can almost be said that an Obama victory is mandatory.
Everyone must join together and do what each can to get him elected. Maximum effort for 5 more weeks is necessary. Is Hillary really on board?

By way of introduction, while I generally don't think that politicians do a whole helluva lot of good in general, they sure can do a lot of bad.
As Buckminster Fuller put it, you take all the politicians and round them up and put them on a spaceship for a trip around the sun and in 6 months no body would notice much difference. The earth doesn't need politicians. It needs innovators.
As a student of Politics, I have come across many statistics, patterns and theories as to why certain candidates succeed and others do not. I have kept up with polls and daily tracking numbers that attempt to predict the status of our nation's opinions. Unfortunately, the only thing that polling does is superficially declare an underdog and force the lower number's party to "fight back". In our sound-bite world, too many voters lose focus and faith in their candidate when they simply see that not everybody else is of a like mind. Because this election, and our candidate is so important to us, I would be devastated if the Obama/Biden campaign began to feel the need to alter their course in order to play catch-up.
With this in mind, I encourage all Obama supporters to NOT respond to telephone polls. How terrific would it be if these inconsequential tools became useless. I would love to see that McCain is leading by a wide margin in the polls, only too see that they don't mean a thing! JUST SAY NO TO POLLS!!! The ground campaign being run by Obama is amazing and clearly focused on voters voting in November, not phone-call recipients taking a survey in September. With this, allow the campaign to stay the course and know that the polls are useless and irrelevant to the final outcome of the campaign.
Join me in spreading the word to all Obama supporters to JUST SAY NO TO POLLS!!! Let Obama focus on November and not the cheap shots so many before him had to stoop down for.
I am working on using social networking sites such as Faithbase.com, BlackPlanet, Facebook and others (as many as I realistic have time) to promote Obama message and to throw water on the lies and deceitful tactics that McCain is putting out there each and everyday. We can further flood out the information that McCain is putting out there, at least from a electronic vehicle point of view, if more people would sign up and use these social networking venues and blogs solely for this purpose. I believe this election is going to be decided by voter outreach and by making sure voters and undecided voters have "trustworthy" information to make an informed decision. McCain is hoping that people only see one side of the equation. We know there is always two sides of an argument, thus Obama's side needs to get out there more, especially with McCain strategic alliance to promote a one-sided information overload to the White House . Visit http://www.faithbase.com/voiceofswords for an example of what I am doing. This kind of networking can increase the young vote;target marketing of Obama message is crucial. If voters can get the truth, I will have to scratch my head very hard if Obama loses in November. We need a president who strives for the principles of trustworthiness and integrity in the White House come January. Barack stated, since the beginning of his campaign that he will govern the same way he campaigns. He continue to uphold this promise. However, McCain is showing us how he wants to campaign for president, we need to show how that reflects his character judgment if elected in November. We need to be strong on the ground as well as through the network cables and servers that have helped join all of us together for one purpose, elect Barack Obama! :)
Obama faithful,
Johnathan
Palin's pregnant child proves abstinence education works!
If keeping our girls pregnant and our teens covered in genital warts and taking Valtrex herpes treatment everyday for life is your goal.
The press kept bringing up Chelsea Clinton's fictional pregnancy and wondering how they (the press) would've handled her fictional pregnancy.
Chelsea Clinton's mother and father educated her on safe sex and proper condom use and it's silly to talk about her fictional situation, when a real pregnant teen and her careless parents attempt to move into the Whitehouse.
While using a condom isn't 100% effective, having sex without any protection or education increases the chances of pregnancy and sexually transmitted disease exponentially.
I know this blog is ugly, but sometimes the truth is ugly.
