As of today, it's not 100% whether Hillary Clinton will be officially offered the post of Secretary of State or not - but rumors are looming. I feel like it's Christmas Eve and the Barack Obama is Santa Claus.
I am beyond proud of Barack Obama's ability to set aside ego and strategically devise the best team possible to get this country further along than it's been in a long time. The current economic crisis is a manifestation of previous mis-dealings of former executives and conveniently blind sighted politicians. I see great hope in bringing in a team of wise counselors and advisors who are stitched to gether with integrity.
Even the ability for me to share my comments on this blog site shows that Barac Obama understands that you have to be in touch with modern day tools and technology to reach a hungry and sophisticated people. I can't even begin to imagine what would have happened if events unfolded any other way.
As an entrepreneur, I hear a lot of my peers groaning at the possibilities of losing the 1000th toy they don't need in the anticipation that they may have to pitch in a few more dollars that they would have never missed to help dig this country out of the mire they helped create. I can hardly believe sometimes that we sit at the same table and break bread and they would be comfortable letting someone with 2 jobs at hourly wages foot the bill before they sacrificed the add ons that help them "keep score".
Thank you for helping all of us keep things in perspective. We are a blessed country with so much still yet to contribute to the world. I am so grateful that we have a leader coming into office that can see the bigger picture and realize that a true leader is only as good as the players on his team.
You rock Obama. I'm really proud of you.
Continued Success-

The 'Dream Team' scenario feels a bit to me like a nightmare. Why feed the MSM four to eight more years of "Bill Show" fodder, or of Hillary's seemingly desperate Machiavellian machinations for power?
If I were Obama, I'd ask Mrs.C to accept the full-time job of reforming health care (and for America's sake, NOT a 'Tsar'!) -- period. It's her authentic passion, the thing she couldn't get done under her own husband's two terms, the 'legacy salve' she'll need to politically polish herself back up for the history books.
And I'd ask Jim Webb to serve as VP: Shinier military cred than McCain, introduced landmark GI bill that recently flew through Congress, frosh Senator (e.g. no decades-of-DC-detritus crusted all over him), ardent advocate of commissions to investigate military contractor abuses (which the Bushies assert would be unconstitutional?!), Southerner (VA), gave AWESOME rebuttal to Georgie's SOTU'07...
Now THAT is Leadership We Can Believe In!

Dear All,
I know that the possibility of an Obama-Clinton ticket pinches some peoples spinal chord nerves however many others consider the union an urgent must.
Hillary Clinton has demonstrated that she is a champion. Her commitment to stay in the presidential race against all odds proves that she is a fighter indeed.
The time to unite the Democratic Party has arrived. Senator Obama has the power to end this never ending saga by picking Clinton as his running mate.
Can't we all just get along?
Yes we can!
I just replied to the Senators email to all of us as follows. I sincerely hope others will follow suit...
"Dear Senator Obama,Congratulations on a great day and a hard week that you made it though with your usual grace and poise. I truly appreciated the comments you made the other night re the assertion by HRC that you would be a good VP. Thanks for standing up for yourself and for all of us who support you in your bid for President, not Vice President. Yet I am disappointed by a comment you made to Wolf Blitzer on CNN tonight. You stated that HRC was on anyone's short list, giving CNN the opportunity to say, after you were off camera, that the dream team is still a possibility. I respectfully ask you to respond to and explain this comment to us, your most loyal base. The idea of a ticket split with such a mean spirited and divisive force as Hillary Clinton is insulting to this campaign. I hope I misunderstood. Your supporter
Chris"
The man is BRILLIANT! This is an interview done this weekend in Wyoming! He addressed the VP invite, fundraising, the issues without even missing a step!

Please Please Please DO NOT BE FOOLED
Hillarys dream team is now, and always has been,
Hillary and Bill Clinton
For Eight More Years
Barack never has needed her and never will
Hopefully after this election New Yorkers will vote her out of her Senate seat in the next election
and replace her with a decent Dem...returning her to a sad footnote in history.
Hold it! Stop that incessant droning about a "so called" Dream Team featuring my ideal candidate: Barack Obama, and that other candidate who can't say enough bad things about him, and seems to be a victim of multiple personality disorder.
That's what I want to scream every single time I hear some political pundit or television personality speculate about pairing up these two contenders. In my view, and using the vernacular, "It ain't gonna happen."
For one, They've got it all wrong. He's not running for VP. Let's get that straight. There are many changes that he couldn't possibly affect in that number two slot. He is running on a platform to repair the many wrongs done to our government. That's the reason many of us support him so vehemently. To relegate him to the also-ran negates that liklihood of getting the job done. We want our change NOW, not later.
Secondly, we--HIS supporters--would never allow that to happen. We support him wholeheartedly. Many of us don't plan to vote on a ticket where he's not in the top slot, plain and simple. That's just all there is to it. Besides, our guy is winning! lol Even if this issue does have to go before the superdelegates, his case is far more compelling.
Thirdly, to align himself with that particular candidate, whose methods and morals seem so converse to his own would sort of invalidate his candidacy. He has run a race high in integrity. I just can't say that for her. The nasty campaign and snide insinuations made by her, her campaign staffers, and her surrogates are a part of that old way of doing things. Out with the old! In with Obama!
Finally, it would just be wrong. I actually want to convulse, imagining her as his VP or anywhere on his cabinet. Now, let's just let this idea evaporate and let's be done with it. This is one baby that should indeed be thrown out with the bath water! Let's geterdone!
I've vented sufficiently.

Your FIRST job as the Presidential nominee is to pick a person that is ready on DAY ONE to replace you as President should anything happen.
She is FLIP FLOPPING by saying one minute that the only experience he has is a SPEECH, then turns around and ask him to be her VP - thereby claiming he is ready on DAY ONE.
Great JUDGEMENT huh?
If Hillary says, the following when asked about a Dream Ticket (her and Obama),
"That may be where this is headed, but of course we have to decide who is on the top of ticket. I think the people of Ohio very clearly said that it should be me"
--- perhaps Obama should USE those words EVERYTIME she attacks him as not being WORTHY or READY for the PRESIDENCY.
If she thinks he's GOOD enough to be 2nd in command if anything happens to HER -- then how can she claim he's not good enough to be PRESIDENT now?
The dream come true is that the U.S. will inaugurate a person who represents a group that we would never have imagined to be U.S. president. An African American or a woman. Perhaps Obama's youth gives him time to serve as VP, with a shoe-in 8 years later. But, shouldn't we put our BEST foot forward? And that foot belongs to Barack Obama.
Would Hillary make a good Vice President? Probably. She'd bring votes to the Democratic ticket, so I don't rule it out. And, frankly, I can't think of a better person for the Vice Presidency, but I trust Barack's judgement as far as that goes.
Vote for Barack Obama!
