We have had a wonderful response from greatful new voters for making it convenient for them to register. I'm on Oahu, and we still need volunteers who have time to work with our Deputized Registrars at college campuses and community events. Details are on our Hawaii Events page on this website: LinkIf you know of a venue where we could hold a Voter Registration and have a willing contact person to work with (property manager, business owner, administrator, etc.,) please message me, and I will forward the information to our Coordinator. If you have unregistered family and friends in Hawai`i, please remind them of the October 6th deadline, and encourage them to register.
Wherever you are, please check your Events list and volunteer, even if you can only spare an hour, to give another volunteer a break in a long day. The more, the merrier! Mahalo (thank you)!
[Hooked nose Arabs paint hooked noses?]Author Derided by Muslim Students [Association] in Anti Semitic Cartoon Author David Horowitz responded today to his recent controversy at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. David Horowitz, a popular conservative writer, was derided in a Nazi-like anti-Semitic cartoon, put out by the Muslim Student Association. The cartoon, which was copied and spread around campus, portrays Horowitz, a Jewish man, as a hooked-nose Nazi hiding in a trash can. http://tothecenter.com/news.php?readmore=4895
Even though it may not look like it or feel like it, you are making progress.
Continue working towards progress instead of perfection.
Nothing or no no one is perfect.
Just keep taking steps.
Keep making those phone calls.
Continue following your plan.
Remain focused on your goal.
Do what you have to do right now to get to the next level.
Complete every task.
Keep every promise and commitment.
Don't look back.
Let no one weaken your walk of faith and determination.
Remain teachable.
Place yourself in a blessing position by associating with people on-the-grow.
Talk with teachers.
Walk with winners.
Climb with champions.
Study successful people.
Something great is about to happen for you!
Start giving thanks right now before you can even see the outward manisfestation of your prayers and desires.
Everything you do from this day forward will take you further away or closer to your potential for successful living.

Muncie, Indiana, Saturday, March 29, 10:00 a.m. in The Village on University Avenue.
Special guests and a "Dorm Storm" to GOTV Get out the vote.
Just an idea I had today. The Texas State University quad is infested with zealous Ron Paul supporters touting banners declaring Ron Paul "The ONLY anti-War Candidate." I know he's a fringe candidate in most states, but he may shape as a 3rd placer here in TX, and he's the only candidate from either party with a visible presence on our campus.
Now, Obama is not against all wars, just dumb wars, so he isn't an "anti-War" candidate. But today I had a discussion with a few Ron Paul supporters. Here's my logic:
"You guys should vote for Obama, instead."
"Hell no. Ron Paul is the man."
"Yeah, I like his opposition to the Iraq war, but Obama opposed the war, too."
"Ron Paul is against ALL war."
"Yes, but when he loses (which he will), the Republican candidate will be a war-monger. McCain is in the lead, and he says it doesn't matter if we stay in Iraq for 100 years. He's the complete opposite of Ron Paul. Plus, if Democrats can't turn this state for Obama, the Democratic candidate could be a person who voted FOR the war, and who approves Bush's Iran policy."
"So?"
"So, both candidates in the general election will be people who voted FOR the war we're in, and who support Bush's Iran policy. 'Bomb-bomb-bomb, bomb-bomb Iran.' Obama is the only realistic candidate without that record. In fact, he's the only candidate who agrees it's better to talk to leaders we don't like than ignore them."
"Hmm...."
"The Democratic primary is open, so feel free to come by and make a real vote for real change."

Hey guys, the Alabama state primaries are coming up less than a month from now. We need to organize volunteer days for several of us to get students on campus to fill out a voter registration application. The deadline to have these forms submitted is January 25th, just 2 weeks away!!
We need to set up a table, print out around some applications and get people to register. Rather than hand them out and hope people send them in, I think it would be best to have them fill these applications out, right on the concourse, and let us submit them, this should take care of any procrastination.
If you have some free time over the next week or so, and would be interested in helping Barack here in your own town, please send me an email and lets do our part to help bring about a new leadership in the US government!!
Thanks and see you soon,
Matt Dean
