Many people want to go to heaven but many people don't want to put forth the effort to practice the physical responsibilities that will get us here and I'll be the first to say that "the right activities" take commitment, persistence and practice. And this is taking into consideration that you believe that heaven does exist! I find that fighting for Democratic principals isn't any more simple.
Obama has a lot of responsibility since he came into office. Freedom doesn't come free, people who are going to Afghanistan is requiring us to share sacrifices to help them get to their victorious goals.
I am not a hawk, quite the contrary, however we need to get our butts out of Afghanistan and Iraq remembering that we owe the people in these countries those promises we made . . . getting out and leaving the people whole isn't an easy task but requires sustainability.
Tea Party members are projecting all that they can to be a force of negative force towards Obama. They are against any progress coming from him. The Republicans are looking for the unpopular war to continue, they are energized by the unemployment numbers falling, they aren't supporting the healthcare insurance reform because their politicial leaders are receiving huge contributions and donations when they run for office. This doesn't excuse those Democrats to too are fighting the insurance options and watering down the initial national healthcare bill. Whistleblower Wendell Potter, the former CIGNA marketing executive has said, "if there isn't a public option included in the insurance reform, then tha insurance companies have won" the healthcare battle. Many of us heard this and we believe since Potter wrote many of the policies that the insurance companies practice, that he should know truth from fiction.
Just another obstacle that OFA will have to overcome! It is profoundly amazing how so many people sat eight years watching our country go into absolute free fall and said nothing. And now that we finally have an opportunity to apply wisdom, commitment and arriving at the truth, the masses want to trash President Obama and those still seeking change. We have always understood that change is gradual, requires time and persistence through: Voter registration, phone calling, writing letters to our politicians, letters to the editor, petition signing, community education, video presentations, resolutions, rallies, subject events, voting smart and continual strategic action... May God provide Obama the guidance and wisdom to continue making decisions that lead to international alliances and to win the battle in Afghanistan and Iraq. OFA understands that there is no substitute to "victory". . . Obama has a strong hand to play and we hope he can find the money, resources and sustainability to pull our nation through . . .
Happy Thanksgiving . . . Peace out, Minerva and Todd Hoover, Santa Clarita Valley
Supporters of health insurance reform gathered in Lewiston Sunday afternoon to thank Representative Mike Michaud for his continued support of reform. Michaud, who represents Maine's Second Congressional District, the largest House district east of the Mississippi River, was welcomed home by a crowd of enthusiastic and grateful constituents inside his local office. The congressman's appearance came just over a week after the House passed a health reform bill, legislation Michaud called "too important to fail." “Later tonight, I will say yes to expanding health care coverage to the thousands of small businesses and people in Maine who do not have it and, to those who do, making it more affordable and better,” Michaud said in a statement prior to the House vote.
“Today, I will say yes to ending the practice of denying coverage due to preexisting conditions and other abusive insurance industry abuses.” Michaud answered several questions from OFA volunteers and others Sunday afternoon, articulating his views on the health insurance debate. The U.S. Senate is expected to take-up the cause shortly.
Today, on Veterans Day, we thank and honor those who served and continue to serve our nation.

We thank U.S. Representatives Mike Michaud and Chellie Pingree for their continued support of health insurance reform.
The House voted late Saturday evening to move the process of health insurance reform forward, a step President Obama called “courageous.”
The president also asked the Senate to “take up the baton and bring this effort to the finish line.”
Rep. Michaud issued a statement prior to Saturday’s vote, saying in part, “This work is too important to fail, and I could not in good conscience let the perfect be the enemy of the possible.” Speaking on the floor of the House of the Representatives, Saturday, Rep. Pingree made her feelings clear, saying, “There can be no more delay.”
Dozens of enthusiastic supporters of health insurance reform greeted Representative Chellie Pingree as she returned to Maine this morning.
A boisterous crowd of sign-waving Mainers welcomed the congresswoman minutes after her flight landed at Portland International Jetport.
The crowd had gathered to thank Pingree for her support of health insurance reform. The U.S. House of Representatives voted in favor of a reform bill on Saturday night.
Speaking on the floor of the House Saturday, Pingree said, “I’m here in the memory of my brother. He had no public option to choose. He did what so many young families did. They spent down their savings, they sold everything they had…so they could qualify for Medicaid because no doctor would see him without insurance.”
“I have often wondered,” Pingree added, “if he would have survived if he had the medical care he needed.”
Referening the importance of the legislation, Pingree said, “This bill moves us much closer to a time when no one can be denied health care coverage because of a pre-existing condition, no one can be told you can’t have health care coverage, no one will have to go into personal bankruptcy.”
“I am so proud to be here casting the vote that so many of my constituents have waited too long for,” the congresswoman said. “There can be no more delay.”
Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning!
Dear President Barack Obama
Remember, remember that day in November, the 5th, 2009, when "we the people", "all of us", were also heard, voices and skins, prayers & opinions, loud and proud, feet on the ground ... we will not quit, we will not go away. The Ancestors and those yet born ask no less, what do we ask of ourselves?
Inside the DOI you heard from 564 invited Native Americans about their issues and concerns on Indigenous Rights for Native Americans.
Outside the DOI you saw and heard, as you drove by, the uninvited Native Americans, voicing their issues and concerns in a peaceful and prayerfull way. Organizing for Native American Indigenous Rights is difficult in a fractured community ... but it will grow as yours has done ... please consider this as your invitation to join this movement.
May I offer a suggestion, grant 'executive clemency' for Leonard Peltier and the community ( 2-5 million strong ) will begin to listen with open hearts and believe - hope. It is in your hands to do the right thing. Review the facts, question evidence, talk to Leonard and you also will begin to question the "justice" in his case. You can do something about it. Please try.
I await your reply to my sincere request,
Larry Monterey, Eagleheart

The House of Representatives will vote today on health insurance reform.
All signs point to the vote being extremely close.
Call Representative Mike Michaud to urge him to vote YES on the Affordable Health Care For America Act.
Please call Rep. Michaud in Washington at 202-225-6306 and ask friends, family members, and co-workers to do the same, today!

As I read the -- surprised and surprising -- reactions to Pres. Obama's receiving the Nobel Peace Prize, I am reminded of something that happened ten years or so ago, when my father was still alive. I was complaining about one thing or another that then-Pres. Clinton had done. Dad, who had first voted for FDR and had years later become very embittered by Pres. Nixon -- in other words, he had seen and lived through the best and worst that our nation had to offer -- told me something I'll never forget:
"A leader can't control everything. He has to work with what he's got. So he can't make everything right overnight. And he'll make some mistakes, too; he's only human. But the thing to watch is the direction he's taking us. It might be slower than you'd like, but are things generally headed the right way or not? That's how you judge a leader."
The Nobel Peace Prize
This morning he awoke to Malia saying dad you won!
He didn’t start celebrating before more followed on
Eagerly she continued, dad it’s Bo’s birthday!
Nobel Peace Prize is great but other responsibilities he had to portray
Obama always said he was first a dad
Bo the family pet was the only dog they had
Letting this Birthday past would be a major wrong
Even though this award was great he must first get along
Pets are like family and must not be set aside
Every occasion with family Barack smiles wide
And though he is humbled that the world nations believe
Change can start from ideas small men conceive
Even though he is the first sitting President in 90 years
Presented with this honor for his approach to world affairs
Rights of world citizens are in his forefront but close at home
Is the responsibility of family and Nation where ever he may roam
Zilch is the significance of personal grandeur and so he
Emphasized the involvement of all people and it starts with family
In order to assist other progressive activists in moving health care reform -- including a public option -- forward, I have prepared a report entitled Healthy, Wealthy, & Wise: The Public Option as the Best Insurance of Health Care Coverage and Cost Control. As indicated by its Executive Summary (below), this report includes comprehensive (searchable) content, commentary, and hyperlinked references. You may download it in Microsoft Word format here ...
http://douglasdrenkow.com/docs/healthy.doc
If you have trouble downloading the file, I can e-mail it to you as an attachment (less than 1 MB in size).
I hope that by virtue of its thorough and comprehensive examination of the medical, economic, and political dimensions of our health care problems and proposed solutions, the information in this report will lead any reasonable person to conclude that of all the plans being considered by Congress with significant public support as well as any realistic chance of being passed, the public option is the best means of insuring health care coverage and cost control.

As you all probably know,
Barack Obama and family have recently joined the competition to host the 2016 summer Olympics. Sadly we are disappointed that we have been eliminated from the competition. The presidential family was planning on hosting this big event in Chicago, Illinois. Michelle Obama says "Chicago is such a great place with wonderful people". Now we will watch the Olympics of 2016 take place in either Madrid, or Rio DeGinario!

Can you imagine donating two years of your life to a candidate -- then that candidate sends Aid to the place you live in for your program. As you live in that structure of life saying hey -- I was told this Help was here, but as the train left Washington DC to New Jersey. You had leaders stopping the train and taking what they need in a ring of corruption. That's what's going on in New Jersey with these leaders--the democratic party endorsed. They are going back and telling Obama's adminstration; We never heard of this guy, or this program. Yet, the benefited from the guidelines of the program. This is the reason why we have a corruption probe in New Jersey.View the AD and Documentary!
