After all, Advertising Age, the bible of Madison Avenue, named the Obama campaign "Marketer of the Year" last fall, citing in particular its ability to brand itself. Obama beat out marketing heavyweights like Apple, Nike and Coors. And that was before he got elected. Mr. Obama’s inaugural committee is now marketing a new version of the iconic "Hope" poster that became a phenomenon during the campaign and helped brand the candidate, certainly in the minds of the young. The new poster was created by Shepard Fairey, the California street artist who created the original image. He designed this one specifically for the inauguration. "Be The Change," the poster instructs. It takes the now-familiar red and blue image of Mr. Obama and sets it against a backdrop of the Capitol and the White House.

I keep seeing post after post about WHOM? Hillary?
What I'm struck by is that the tone of the speech by the man we support was in reconcilliation to the Hillary supporters and yes even the candidate.
Why?
Because that is how we will win in the fall; by joining with others in what we have in common and not what we disagree about.
One of the reasons I am so steadfast in my support for Barack Obama is that while he's no wuss, standing up to speak about difficult subjects, pointing out those places in no uncertain terms where the campaigns and the media were crossing the line. He hasn't reduced himself or the campaign to the level of rhetroic and negativity that have been heaped upon him. This is important.
In order for change to be exacted externally, we must be willing to create that change internally.
Please focus on the positives of this campaign and leave the destructive and hateful to destroy themselves...they always do eventually.

I am sending you back the remaining contents of a box of Crest White strips that I purchased. The reason is not that they haven’t worked or that I didn’t like the product. It is simply because I cannot have integrity about using this product or purchasing like products since I learned that this is one of the sponsors of FOX NEWS. FOX NEWS has long been known for being far right in its opinions and that’s part of the American experience I defend (free speech). However, of late, I have seen more hate mongering and bigotry coming from this station and it’s pundits than I have heard since my youth in the 1960’s. I simply can’t abide it and cannot support any company that is in support of this negative, destructive behavior.
I thank you for your good work in the community, for employing Americans. I hope you’ll consider removing your ads from the FOX NEWS NETWORK.

I am hoping that the candidates from the 11th District will attend this as well as anyone who has ideas for the 29th. At today's meeting there were three persons who we know of who are interested from the 11th District, they are Michael Siegrist (Plymouth People), Sheri Masson (active in MOVE ON) and Dr. Delener S. McCamey Phd of Northville (e-mail campaign, Kerry 04).
