Illinois is overflowing with grassroots energy for Barack-- literally. We have so many enthusiastic volunteers here in the Land of Lincoln, we couldn't fit them all in our Chicago headquarters. So yesterday, we opened a brand new volunteer headquarters right nearby.

Senator Dick Durbin and Michelle Obama cut the ribbon and pumped up the crowd. "All around the country people are hungry for something authentic and real," said Michelle. "We want this office bursting at the seams with people. This is a wonderful start."
