Last time I live-blogged from a canvass, it was cold and rainy in New Hampshire, but that didn't keep hundreds of dedicated volunteers from hitting the pavement.
Today, I'm in South Carolina where the sun is beating down and the humidity is at 73%. Yet, despite the scorching South Carolina summer heat, dozens are showing up to Walk for Change here at Harmon Field in Charleston.
These dedicated volunteer organizers are making sure everyone's got their routes sorted out.
Here's the North Charleston contingent getting ready to hit the streets.
Reminder to everyone walking today: drink water! Even if you're not down here in South Carolina, make sure you stay hydrated-- this is hard work.
Thanks again to all the Walkers!
