Barack Walks a Day in Pauline Beck's Shoes
Today, Barack walked in the shoes of Pauline Beck, an SEIU member who works as a homecare worker.

As part of SEIU's, Walk a Day in My Shoes program, Barack followed Pauline to the home of her 86-year-old client, who depends on Pauline and another worker for around-the-clock support.

SEIU:

Beck has been a homecare worker for her client John Thornton for four years. At breakfast, Beck introduced Obama to her daughter, an Oakland school worker, her grandnephew, and her two foster children. The two then traveled to her client's home to get him out of bed, prepare his breakfast, and help him to get ready to start his day.

From the work he did in the South Side of Chicago organizing laid-off workers from a steel plant closing, to marching a picket line with hotel workers last month, Barack has spent his life fighting for America's workers.

Make sure to tune into the Today Show tomorrow on NBC for a special report on Barack's day with Pauline.
