Greetings from Nashua,
the birthplace of Mandy Moore, the former home of both Jack Kerouac and the Nashua Dodgers (the first baseball team to integrate), and the site of Dinner With Barack New Hampshire.
The chance to sit down for a meal with four supporters from across the country was the perfect conclusion to an incredible, exhausting day of events, speeches, and parades.
Gabrielle Grossman, Brittany Washington, Michael Wilson, and Dorothy Unruh shared a meal and a conversation with Barack at Nashua institution, Martha's Exchange. All four are low-dollar grassroots donors to the campaign -- the life-blood of a movement that refuses to rely on lobbyists.
The quartet shared their life experiences and suggestions with the Senator. They touched on the war in Iraq, health care, education, and why babies like saying “Obama”.Stay tuned for more in-depth profiles of our guests over the next week as well as a full-fledged dinner video experience.
