The Des Moines Register's Iowa poll is considered, "one of the most respected measures of the nation's first caucus state." And just last night, the results came in: Barack Obama is ahead statewide, ahead in women voters, ahead in youth voters, and importantly, ahead in Iowans most likely to turn out for the January 3rd caucus.

Organization is everything in Iowa -- and the Barack Obama campaign has more offices in the Hawkeye state than any other candidate. Michelle Obama herself, after visiting Ottumwa, Centerville, Corydon, Lamoni, and Graceland University, stopped in West Des Moines on Thursday to help the Iowa team open their 37th office in the state.
And this momentum isn't limited to Iowa: Barack Obama is now rapidly gaining in the New Hampshire polls.
It was a big week for Senator Obama in New Hampshire: a gathering of Barack’s senior foreign policy advisors came together in Portsmouth, New Hampshire for a forum, "The Judgment to Lead," discussing the challenges our next president will face. The panelists included:

In fact, Barack has wide support from major foreign policy and national security experts: here's retired four-star General Merrill "Tony" A. McPeak all the way over in Nevada, stumping in Pahrump:

And down in South Carolina, there has been outpouring of volunteer energy, phonebanking and doing all the hard work necessary to make sure the Palmetto State elects Barack Obama on January 26th.
