Cannabis Advocates Ensure "Green" DNC
{Denver, CO} – Promises by DNC officials to make the DNC the "greenestconvention ever" are being echoed by cannabis advocates who have organizeda whole host of events guaranteed to make sure the DNC is "green" in moreways than one.
The Green DNC events kick off on Thursday (8/21) with the THC NationalConvention at the Oriental Theatre. This will include a full dayeducational conference and evening entertainment/fundraising event. The"Our Health Freedoms" Educational Seminar goes from 1pm to 6pm. This willfeature medicinal cannabis patients, caregivers and holistic practitionersdiscussing the positive future of medical marijuana therapy. A new programwill be revealed designed to achieve a higher quality of life for patientsby utilizing a wide variety of complimentary therapies and a unique vouchersystem to pay for it. On Saturday (8/23/), Yippie leader and cannabis advocate Dana Beal willspeak at a Drug Peace Rally at Lincoln Park, between Civic Center and theState Capitol at 3:00pm. Beal was one of the original Yippies from the1960s and founder of the Yipster Times.
