We had a good turnout at the health care rally yesterday. Had a lot of honks from people driving by. We turned in a 133 page petition for a public option. We spoke to the staff of Senator Carl Levin (MI-D) and told them how important the public option is to keep the insurance companies honest. We received a letter that he wrote to Senator Kennedy expressing his support for the public option. This is an issue "Senator Levin has been working on for decades," stated Vicki Selva, Regional Representative. We had a great time and everyone was very excited to be a part of real health reform that is so desparately needed.
