1. Expose and challenge “BLUE DOG” DEMOCRAT Congressional Representatives who do not support the public option on ALL Internet venues, in local newspaper letters to the editor and on CONSERVATIVE and MAINSTREAM radio and television talk shows.

2. WRITE to ALL Congressional Representatives! Flood their Congressional mailboxes with letters and e mails detailing your health care woes, your family’s health care woes, and your friend’s health care woes. Send them the DOLLAR FIGURES of your health care physician and hospital balances. These polls are meaningless | Report to Admin

I am all in favor of writing our congressmen and senators to advocate the positions we believe are important. I do not believe the polls which have often been cited, supposedly showing that over 60% of Americans support the public option. Depending on how you ask the question, you can get almost any results you want. Besides that, even assuming that most Americans do support the public option, that does not make it good public policy. Most Americans also support the death penalty, but that does not necessarily make it a good idea. Depending on how you ask the question, some surveys have found that most respondents would favor abolishing the Bill of Rights.

The public option deserves serious debate, and there can be no doubt that it would have far reaching implications, perhaps both good and bad. Public opinion polls, which tend to be distorted when it comes to complicated issues, should not be given much (if any) weight.
