I think I went to far in my previous post.
All Obama or his campaign has to say is "I misspoke when I said conditions with Chavez, I meant preparation. I haven't changed my position, I just used the wrong erm. I am well aware of the difference and mean what I said when I said without preconditions."
Terminological mistakes are forgivable.
But the clarification should come quick, or the issue will fester.
