Please don't trust ANYTHING that comes from the Clinton campaign! They are NOT going to give up Iowa without a fight! I don't care what lies they tell to the MSM! They have tried to smear Senator Obama for the past four weeks, they are not going to give up!!!!!

We have one proof of case that tried to sully Barack's image in Democratic Party got burned big time. People in New Hampshire spoke loud and clear, if you try to do slash and burn politics with this good man, you will be burned. Case in point is Jeanne Shaheen, wife of Bill Shaheen, who wants to be Senator from New Hampshire (Democratic Party nominee). She was leading the Republican incumbent John Sununu by about 28 points, before her husband made disparage comments about Barack Obama. After that dirty episode (he resigned from Hillary's campaign), Jeanne Shaheen is now trailing by 10 points to John Sununu. So, we have to make clear to these politicians that slash and burn politics will not work this time aroung.

No matter how hard Clinton and her campaign tries, I don't think she'll be able to positively spin a 3rd place finish in Iowa. If Obama wins, Edwards comes in 2nd, and Clinton comes in 3rd (and especially if Obama has a cushion of at least 3-4% over Edwards and Clinton), I think that Obama will then cruise to victory in New Hampshire and South Carolina, and will most likely win the nomination.

DO NOT ENGAGE THESE PEOPLE.

BASK IN THE NEWS AND BE HAPPY.

I REPEAT, AND WILL DO SO AGAIN: TROLLS APPEAR EVERY TIME THERE IS GOOD NEWS FOR US. THEY ARE, IN AN IRONIC WAY, A SIGN OF OUR STRENGTH.

We all know Camelot, and for my purposes here we will put away the battle between myth and fact and just agree on legend. Therein lies Obama's secret on how to govern.

Camelot was the shining city that existed in peace and tranquility. Under the wise rule of the legendary King Arthur prosperity reigned supreme. Even JKF was associated with Camelot, as one of his favorite sayings was "Don't let it be forgot, that once there was a spot, for one brief shining moment that was known as Camelot." from the musical of the same name that he had seen. He was building it by enlisting America to participate, but time decided it was not his moment and he was abruptly taken away from us and his task at hand.

Now, Barack Obama is taking a page from Arthur too and he may have hit on the crux of Camelot's foundation. The Roundtable. King Arthur built a round table for himself and his knights. The purpose was to give an equal voice to all while avoiding even a hint of supremacy among those gathered. This is Barack Obama's plan for government with a 21st century twist. We've all heard Obama say that the way he plans to negotiate and solve the monumental problems like healthcare and dependency on foreign oil, is to have everyone at the table, the difference is that lobbyist don't get to buy all the seats like they do now, but will have an equal voice. It would be foolish to think that they should not be included in the discussion to solve our problems because pharmaceutical companies, chemical companies, and yes, even oil companies will have a role to play in any steps we take to improve the American system. Now for the twist. Obama wants to air these roundtable discussions on things like C-SPAN. No more closed door meetings with a bunch of lobbyists deciding what's best for us. We all now that the truth is a scarce commodity in Washington these days, and we all know that politicians have been listening to eachother lying for a lot of years. They are immune to it, they don't even hear it anymore.

Now lets turn on the spotlight. All of a sudden we have a new dynamic. America is watching and we are not immune to the lies. Now these people would have to make their sometimes totally ridiculous cases with America watching, not in a room of lined pockets and greased palms that already know how they are going to vote and are just meeting as a formality. Now lies and tap-dancing could make their stock prices go down. Now having the image of a soulless corporation that has no regard for the American citizen could find themselves going bankrupt from the bad publicity. Now they will have to be accountable for their actions and words. The genius of Barack Obama and King Arthur just turned the tables on the slimy elements of Washington by forcing them to bring their A-game and force them to do right by the American people. America, you want change? How 'bout America changing into Camelot? Even the legendary King Arthur agrees with Barack Obama, can Hillary Clinton or John Edwards claim the same?

Think about it Iowa.

I think it's the best gage of how support on the ground is because it's in Iowa itself and it polls a much larger section of Iowa's population and even though the editorial board endorsed the devil it hasn't been twisting numbers like CNN/ARG. Just last night CNN said Clinton had won the register's poll, we know that's a sack of BS.

I can understand that the ex-gov was a big get, but did we have to entice him with a national co-chairmanship? Barack has been the record as saying lobbyists won't have any influence, though he did exclude state lobbyists (like Hodges). But, in this media-crazed period, couldn't just an endorsement do? Do we want the symbolic top-level of a campaign to be co-run by the very special interests we are trying to diminish from Washington politics? For goodness' sake, it's 1 day before Iowa. I"m praying Edwards or the commentators don't say anything...I could see John's campaign surrogates calling Obama the big "h" word. Any thoughts?

Ex-SC Gov. Hodges Endorses Obama

So this was the big endorsement the Obama campaign was hinting at. Ex-SC Gov. Jim Hodges (D) calls Obama the one candidate who can heal "old divisions."

Hodges was governor from 1999 to 2003, and was the first gubernatorial challenger to beat an incumbent since 1876.

"Barack Obama has been bringing people together to create change all his life. He’s the right choice to turn the page on the divisive politics that have led to partisan gridlock and inaction," Hodges says in a statement. "I also have a practical reason for supporting Barack. I think he can win in November and make states that haven’t been on the Democratic electoral map competitive again by attracting Independents and moderate Republicans.”

Hodges also a registered lobbyist, something the AP's write-up of the endorsement was not shy about mentioning.

Hodges will join the campaign as a national co-chair.
