Song for Obama Shines Light on Hope

Columbus, Ohio- A campaign song for our times, inspiring hope and the promise of a better life, has just been released by singer-songwriter and composer Celeste Friedman.

A 2005 Grammy Nominee, Friedman is already garnering national support, as her song, “Oh Barack!” is reaching out to supporters of the phenomenal Obama movement. As an indie artist and eclectic songwriter, Friedman paints a lyrical portrait of Senator Barack Obama’s campaign for the U.S. Presidency, striving for quality of life and peace in our world. Friedman is also an Ohio native, born and raised in a small community and part of one of the critical swing states of this year’s election.

"The whole country should be singing her songs!", says Craig Harris of The Boston Globe.

Friedman is just coming off of an admirable 18 month period of scoring, including the Pulitzer-Prize nominated play, “The Glory of Living”. In 2007, she received chart-topping success in Europe with her CD, “Every Tear I Know”, in which one of her ballads was selected to be a part of a compilation CD, “All States All Stars”, recently sent to our troops in Iraq, featuring 50 songwriters from the 50 states. I have information that Bill Clinton has written a novel called Out of the Darkness under the name Michael Clinton Oliver. The Clintons are hiding that fact. Someone has told me that it is because the book has a racist character. Does the media know about it? Thanks

There is a WONDERFUL and INSPIRING music video on youtube.com entitled 'Obama Portrait'.
In South Carolina we are starting to use the free downloaded high-quality stereo version from the composer's website in DVD form to show at house parties. Even people who knew nothing at all about Obama have been moved. The music soundtrack, which incorporates excerpts from the famous 2004 speech, can also be downloaded separately in high-quality.
Please SPREAD THE WORD to everyone possible about the importance of viewing the 'Obama Portrait' on youtube: the more views, the more likely it will catch the attention of the media and thus be able to spread more broadly in the country to inspire many more people.
It is an uplifting and informative campaign tool - again, please SPREAD THE WORD!

I don't know about you but ME?? I am mad as hell and not going to take it anymore.
We need to fight back but in a smart legal way most important effectively.
Right now we have millions in this movement. And we can take on FOX.
What am proposing is TO BOYCOTT the Sean Hannity show. But just one day a week.but
the same day every week. If we boycott The Sean Hannity show( fox) every Friday after a while it will be notice.
It will take time but if you whom is reading this was to post it AND tell set up a blog ( with a name like fight back or something to that effect. and every one of us that reads it was to post it after a while we could grow this movement and they will notice. Now I wish I was more knowledgeable in writing Blogs and so on in computers and so on But am not..... am 61 years old I LEAVE THIS IDEA IN YOUR HANDS.....I just wish and pray that some one that really knows how to organized this in the Internet takes it and runs with it. .....(myebaymail)

We need to get the word out encouraging residents of states close to the next primary states to take time off and travel to where they can make a difference. Please ask your group members to pass the word on to others that the only chance Obama has to overcome all the special pac money pouring into primary states is if people mobilize and take a stand in adjacent primary states. Texas and Ohio prove that we cannot rest after victories; it will take heroic measures to overcome this adversary.

There is no issue more important or that draws a clearer distinction among the candidates than the harm being done to our country by the return on investment that corporations are making on their campaign contributions. 63% of Hillary's money comes from donors giving in amounts $2300 dollars and up. Obama has been successful in drawing large contributions as well, but those kinds of donors do not have majority ownership in his campaign. Barack made this clear in his recent message about February's donations: "No campaign has ever raised this much in a single month in the history of presidential primaries. But more important than the total is how we did it -- more than 90% of donations were $100 or less, and more than 385,000 new donors in February pushed us past our goal of more than 1,000,000 people owning a piece of this campaign."

Our struggle is unique, because we can make Obama the first modern President whose re-election is not dependent on donations from interests like pharmaceuticals, health care insurers, oil, auto makers, or the military industrial complex. The country needs someone who can tell the Haliburtons and Enrons of this time that the American people paid for for my campaign and I am here to fight for their health care, for the environment, for an end to war, and so much more which progressives care about. I'm glad it is not over with Hillary, because while the Republicans fall asleep, we will be organizing volunteers in every state. Imagine partying June 7th in Puerto Rico after defeating Hillary with the kind of national grassroots power that can win 60% of the Senate and set forth a bold progressive era.

To help mobilize for change in both this campaign and those beyond the following page exists to collect resources and network individuals interested in this effort.
